Prayer for new day

Good morning! Are you looking for a fresh way to start the day, wondering how to greet God in the morning, thankful for another opportunity, or unsure what to say as you face a challenge or crisis? Whether you are ready and raring to go today, fearing what awaits, or just uncertain of what to ask, pray along with these words and give your day to the Lord!

Good morning, Lord! Today’s a new day, a chance for a new start. Yesterday is gone and with it any regrets, mistakes, or failures I may have experienced. It’s a good day to be glad and give thanks, and I do, Lord. Thank you for today, a new opportunity to love, give, and be all that you want me to be.

Today I want to start the day with you on my mind and in my heart. As I dress, let me wear the armor you’ve provided daily: the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace, and the sword of the spirit—with prayer on my tongue: praise for you and petitions for those around me and those I meet.

Feed me today with your daily bread. As the Bread of Life, your food, like manna, will sustain me throughout any trials and hungers. Help me to set my thoughts on things above and to speak only what will help and encourage others. Keep me from putting my foot in my mouth, and help me guard the affections of my heart today, Lord. Make whatever work I do be marked with excellence rather than perfectionism, as I seek not to make a name, but to make a difference. Help me to treat each person I encounter as you would, with respect and love, forgiving others and asking for forgiveness myself when needed.

As I start this day, help me remember that I belong to you, and my desire is to act accordingly. Keep my feet from stumbling and my mind from wandering into distractions that could steal precious time and energy from the most important things you have designed for me. I’m proud to be your child, Lord. And I’m so grateful that you died for me—rising again on your own new morning—so that every day could be filled with the wonder of your love, the freedom of your Spirit, and the joy of knowing you.

I know earthly life is short and fleeting, Lord. But I want to live today as if it were the first or the last day of my life, giving thanks for every good and perfect gift you choose to give. Today, and every day, I want to live my life for you, Jesus. In your precious name, Amen.

EL SHADDAI, in 2018, by Your Mercies and Grace, may we, your children, present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to You, which is our Spiritual Worship to You, bowing before You in awe of Your power.

For You are Spirit and True Worshippers must Worship You in spirit and in truth.

ELOHIM, as the year 2018 proceeds, we shall let the Word of Christ richly dwell in us, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing Psalms and Hymns, and Spiritual songs of worship, with thankfulness in our Hearts to You.

For it is our Great Commission to diligently proclaim that which we have heard from You, to all who would or wouldn’t listen, so that they too shall have Fellowship with us, as we Worship the Father, and His son CHRIST JESUS.

ADONAI, we stand on Your Promise that You have Mighty Plans to Prosper us, and never to harm us, that You have plans to give us hope and a future. LORD, however, we acknowledge that we must purge ourselves of all our indiscretions, for these plans to be fully fulfilled.

You have Mighty Plans to Prosper us, and never to harm us, that You have Plans to give us Hope and a Future in 2018 Click To Tweet

So through Worship, we shall yield and say YES, to Your process of purging, and pruning of our personalities, as You purify our hearts in preparation for Your plans.

We say YES! As You use Your chosen people to allow iron to sharpen iron between us.

We say YES! To the cleansing power of the Precious Blood of JESUS CHRIST, as its rejects and removes the rudiments of unrighteousness from our characters.

Father, with this new found freedom From foolishness, we shall walk with You in unflinching faith, towards the path of righteousness, and be fulfilling our Divine purposes in 2018, GOD’s Blessings to each and every one of You, in the name of JESUS CHRIST we Pray ….AMEN!!!

“But the hour comes, and now is, when the True Worshippers shall Worship the Father, in Spirit and in Truth. For the Father seeks such to Worship Him. GOD is a Spirit. And they that Worship Him, must Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.” ~ John 4: 23-24

It’s time to make resolutions, set some big goals, and plan ways to be better in the new year, right? Not exactly!

While I usually make a few resolutions that fly out the window mid-January, this year I realize there is only one area I need to do more and be better at; one area that makes the most difference in who I am and impacts every aspect of my life. My prayer life.

Will you  join me in bowing your heart before the Lord and be in prayer for the New Year?

Will you commit to giving God your all this year, recognizing that no other resolution is as important as the promise to meet the Lord in prayer?
