Father, as I stand before the judge and jury today in the court matter, let no deceit befall me. Allow me to speak the truth, not only in this case but also in the ones ahead, for the truth will set me free.
Allow all the evidence at hand to work in my favor, to emerge victorious, and let no weapon, formed against me by the opposing side, prosper.
Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Remove all fear
I cast out any fear and anxiety in my heart that would hinder my victory. Let no false witness that rise up against me prosper.
I will cling to You, Oh Heavenly Father, for You are my strength in the midst of these legal battles. Help me to be calm and to think clearly. Ease my mind of the noise within, quiet my soul so that I can hear and follow Your instruction.

Almighty Father, even if our supervisors, managers, employees or even our customers, are creating chaos and mayhem in our place of employ or business, let us continue performing, as if we are working directly unto You, with cheerful hearts.
Let every challenging duty come to us, as if it is coming directly from You. Father, give us the blessings of Your Divine help and guidance, and suffer us not to fail. LORD, let us remember You when we receive the fruit of our success.

The Bible tells us to pray for those in authority so that we might live in peace. “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” (I Timothy 2:1,2 NIV)
Prayer for your boss or supervisor
Dear God of all,
I come to you today lifting up my boss or supervisor to you. I pray that you will develop in him/her all of the skills and qualities needed to lead our work team well.
I pray that he/she will have the leadership skills of Moses, the bravery and vision of David, the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job and the perseverance of Paul. I pray that he/she will be ask for and receive good advice as it says in Proverbs: “A wise man listens to advice.” (Proverbs 12:15 NIV) and “Many advisors make victory sure.” (Proverbs 11:14 NIV)
Grant my boss or supervisor a good understanding of the problems and fixes for our workplace and business issues. Give them a good view of the overall picture and a solid business plan for the present and future.
May my boss or supervisor value the hard work and efforts of the work team. Help him/her see the strengths of each worker and help them to encourage the development of new skills in areas where each worker may need help.
Grant a workplace characterized by respect and cooperation. May my boss or supervisor take a leading role in recognizing and appreciating the efforts of each member of the work team as they acknowledge jobs well done.
May my boss or supervisor be filled with honesty, fairness, discernment, kindness and good humor. May he/she be a good listener who has an open door to the work team, making themselves available to hear out concerns from the work team and support the employees.
Give them wisdom and discernment when dealing with conflicts between work team members. Help them hear out both sides and find workable solutions that will help improve the efficiency and atmosphere of the workplace.
Strengthen and help my boss or supervisor during times of stress. Grant them a good life balance in their work, family and faith. Teach them the value of delegating well, save them from micromanaging and show them when to roll up their sleeves and pitch in when the work load demands it.
Help me as a member of the work team to do my best at the tasks assigned me. Show me how to adapt to my boss’s management style so that we might work well together for the sake of our company, our mission and our livelihoods. May you grant us success in all that we put our hands to do together.
Although I work under my boss or supervisor, help me to live out what it says in the Bible: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Colossians 3: 23,24 NIV)

About this prayer for your boss or supervisor
No matter how large or small your workplace or business might be, the working relationships between the work team members and the boss or supervisor is one of the most important pieces of the puzzle that keeps any business or organization functioning well.
No boss or supervisor has the total package of people skills, wisdom and experience needed to lead and supervise well. That’s why praying for your boss or supervisor is one of the most important things you can do. Prayer not only asks for God’s blessings and empowerment for your boss or supervisor, but it also helps you view them with more grace and gives you better insight into the complexity of their job.
In my own career, I have a place on my morning prayer walk where I pray daily for my editors at the publications I write for. There have been times when things have not gone well between me and an editor, such as receiving a rejection or a criticism or not receiving an assignment I wanted.
Instead of letting myself dwell on my negative feelings, I pray for the editor instead. I’ve noticed that getting over a disappointment with something a boss has done doesn’t happen overnight. It takes repeated prayers every morning for God’s grace to be at work. As I pray for my boss, it helps me surrender a little more of my ill feelings daily and learn to trust that God will help me stay in a good working relationship.
