I pray on behalf of AFK who has been unemployed for more than a year now. Everyday is a daily battle and struggle for him, boredom and idleness is testing his patients. Many times he lost hope and was on the brink of giving up, even trying to end his own fate. Please dear Lord, help him to go on one day at a time, help him never to give up hope, for hope is all we have.
Always shield AFK from his suffering and never ending pain since childhood, be his strength and give him unfailing strength to bear with it all. Make him a channel of your peace Lord, even if he is a non believer, show him your love Lord. I do not know how long I will be able to keep him sane and positive, I too need your help Lord to help AFK in return, I am burdened by my own responsibilities, bills and emotions, and trying to stay positive and not to loose my cool is sometimes too demanding.
Dear Lord, AFK recently went for an interview for managerial position which is suitable for his Masters qualification, this is the defining moment for your divine intervention Lord, please make sure AFK gets this position, since he is the only candidate that was interviewed according to his experience and qualification.I believe this is your master plan, your wish and your plan for him. I can feel it in my heart that he will be employed soon.
Thank you for hearing my prayer. Amen.
Return to 7 Daily Prayers to Get You Through The Week
Cancer – the deadly disease which has snatched many of our loved ones from us, is one of the most common diseases with which we are faced today. We need to pray to our Lord Jesus Christ for his mercy and compassion. We need to pray for the sufferings of all those who are afflicted by Cancer. May the Lord Almighty hear our prayers and heal the Cancer Patients. Here is a prayer for all the Cancer Afflicted.
O great Saint Peregrine, you who bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease, and were favored with the vision of Jesus Christ coming down from his cross to heal your affliction, ask of God and our Lady, the cure of these sick people whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here to silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying.)
Aided by your intercessions, we praise God and give thanks for his kindness and mercy. Amen
