Prayer: Command and Declare Healing

Abba Father, I come to You in the wonderful and majestic name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I thank You for the new mercies that I see each and every day. Thanks for the honor and privilege You have given me to come before Your glorious throne of grace, where I can obtain mercy.

I give You all the praise that is due to Your name, Oh Lord. Thank You for the many blessings You continue to bestow upon me. You are the great I AM, the ALPHA and the OMEGA. You are the BEGINNING and the END!

Father God, as I continue to give You all the glory, I declare that I will bless Your name at all times. Your praise will continually be in my mouth. You are my refuge and my strength, in You I have my being.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

My Declarations of Healing

JEHOVAH RAPHA, my HEALER, I glorify the matchless name of Jesus Christ. I declare that every stronghold over my life is broken.

Every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God is torn down and cast into the sea.

Every mountain, Lord, is removed through the working power of the GODHEAD (the Trinity) – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Command all illnesses to leave

I command all sickness, all diseases, all pain to leave my body right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!

  • I declare healing. Heavenly Father, You are my HEALER and at the sound of Your name, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord over all the earth.
  • I decree and declare that I hunger and thirst for Your healing touch Lord and that rivers of living water will flow through my veins, my arteries and my blood.
  • By the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST I am healed! I am delivered! Thank you Lord, I am set free! I AM ETERNALLY RELEASED!

Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Father, Your Word declares that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

I believe that as I continue to trust and have faith in the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I will see the manifestation of Your healing power.

Since the body cannot go where the mind has not gone, I will look to the future and see my victory.

All these mercies I ask in Your name, I claim it and I receive it! SO BE IT! AMEN and AMEN!

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Prayer for One Suffering with Back Pain

Heavenly Father, We thank You for Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior and Mediator. He is our Great Physician, Healer of all diseases and Comforter in all afflictions.

Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon Your blessed name and we offer our brother/sister, who is suffering with pain on his back. Look with favour upon Your servant, Lord, who remains in faith and prayer and in confidence that You will come and renew him in body. Free him from all aches.

We pray and we ask You, Lord, to be there with his doctors as they suggest methods to ease his pain. Touch him with Your healing hands. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit to bear with Your perfect timing in healing.

We pray for his wife and children, that they may understand his time of pain and understand his moments of not being able to help with home affairs.

As pain can affect a person’s emotions, we pray that he be guided in Your perfect love and in Your spirit to be calm, ever trusting in Your healing power and in Your restoration. Amen!

Cancer Prayer: Total Healing & Restorations From Cancer In My Body

I  am praying for this foul disease cancer to permanently go away from my body. I command the foul cancerous cells to wither, die and be killed at the roots permanently along with this horrible pain from this foul disease cancer in my body, from head to toe, inside and out, never to return.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Praise God & Thank God for my permanent healing from cancer with full restoration. “By his stripes I am healed“.

Prayers for healing

Heavenly Father, we come to you humbly asking for healing Lord. We know you have our days out in front of you and Lord what would take a doctor years to heal, you can do it in seconds.

So Lord, we bow our heads right now and ask you to touch us, from the crown of our heads to the souls of our feet lord. Speak healing right now Lord. We plead the blood for healing, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

You (insert name) are special and you are truly loved by God and myself. I plead the blood over your life. No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

I decree over your life, in agreement with the word of God that says We shall decree a thing and it shall be established in heaven.

In the name of Jesus, receive your healing as the word of God is being manifested in your body, in your cells, in your organs and systems.

His word said he sent his word and it healed our diseases. You are healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

As the sermon ended, my 7 year old daughter leaned over and whispered, “Is it the truth, Momma? Is everything he just said the truth?” “Yes, baby, of course, what the preacher just said is the truth,” I replied, not really sure where this was going. Then she said, “even the part about the 5 year old dying?”

Exhale… she’d really been paying attention. “Yes, sweetheart, it is true that a 5 year old, her parents and her siblings all died in that car wreck. But it’s also true that God was there by their side and and God is present and walking alongside all those who grieve the loss.”

Where is God in our suffering?

The sermon was focused on the question of “why does God allow pain and suffering?” A deep one this week, yet one of the questions I think we all wrestle with at some point. Where is God when young families are killed in car wrecks on their way home from church? Where is God when children are dying from cancer? Where is God when wars break out, terrorists execute innocents, and natural disasters wipe out entire communities?

It’s a lot for a 7 year old to wrap her head around – and it’s still a lot for most adults to comprehend. We’ve all been experienced pain and suffering at some level – some more than others – and haven’t you wondered where is God in my loneliness, my grief, the emptiness in my heart that doesn’t seem to have an end?

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous; I have overcome the world.” ~John 16:33 AMP

The truth: We live in a broken, human world

The truth is we live in a broken, human world. We have evil in our midst. People make poor choices that lead to bad things. Children get sick and die. The unthinkable happens and we are left to grapple for answers and a way forward.

I remember being shaken the morning that sweet family was killed and I didn’t even know them. I’m shaken nearly every time I watch the news of so many horrific acts of violence around the world. I’ve felt the bottom fall out of my own world and I’ve walked through the valley of suffering.

If we again ask the question, “Why does God allow evil and suffering to continue?” and we look at the cross of Jesus, we still do not know what the answer is. However, now we know what the answer isn’t. It can’t be that he doesn’t love us. It can’t be that he is indifferent or detached from our condition. God takes our misery and suffering so seriously that he was willing to take it on himself. (Tim Keller, The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism)

The truth: God is present with us in our suffering

The truth we heard this morning – and the truth I believe because I’ve experienced it myself – is that God is with us every step. He doesn’t always intervene to prevent the pain, but He is in our midst to walk us through the darkness and to strengthen us through the process. God is ever by our side waiting for us to reach out our hand and ask Him to help. He’s present and waiting to hold us tight and carry us through whatever we’re facing.

When pain and suffering come, all I can do is call out to God in prayer to be present and carry me through. I lean on the truth that God is walking by my side and His heart breaks for what breaks mine. When the sadness is too much and I can’t find the words, I trust the Holy Spirit to intercede and pray through the groaning of my heart.

Not only so, but also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. ~Romans 5:3-5 NIV

So, yes, sweetheart, it’s all the truth. The world is a hard place, full of pain and suffering. Full of illness, death, evil acts, accidents, and more. But the world is also full of God and He is present in your life if you’ll only let Him in. When pain and suffering comes – and as much as I pray to protect you, I know someday you’ll be there – call out for God. Get on your knees in prayer and ask Him to carry you through and you’ll find out just how true these words are.

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that you of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. ~Ephesians 3:14-19 NIV

We live in a demanding world. When we fail to meet expectations, we are full of despair and become anxious. What results is the pain in physical, psychological, mental and emotional nature? Pain leads us to shed tears and question human being’s real existence. Pain also determines a person’s relationship with God. It’s through pain that our faith in God is tested.

How to Turn Your Pain and Suffering into Prayer

1. Acknowledge that you are in pain

Suffering comes about for different reasons. However, the main reason is expectations. If people expected less from the world, there would be fewer disappointments. We also have expectations from God and when He doesn’t meet those expectations, we feel hurt. Sickness is a good example of expectation. We expect for God to heal our loved ones and set them free of their pain. Healing them will also mean that we don’t have to pay heavy medical bills. In some cases, our loved ones die. Death causes suffering, pain, and anger.

2. Turn to God and express your pain

Explain why you feel the way you do. Most gospel songs were written when the singers were going through hard times. David wrote the book of Psalms after losing his son. Hannah went to the temple, knelt down and prayed to God to give her a child. Since God is not a human being, you should feel safe that your conversation will not be directed to other people. God listens when you open up to Him.

3. Trust in God through your suffering

Trusting God especially when you feel He has let you down is the hardest thing to do. It’s in this session that we fall short of the glory of God. Trusting God means that you give Him full control of the situation. Faith means believing in the unseen. Have faith that God’s act for His glory and the good of His people. For instance, death signifies the end of suffering for the bereaved and the beginning for those left behind. Sometimes we don’t always get the answers we seek immediately, but with time God lets us find what we were looking for.

4. Believe that God will reward you

God never overlooks those who trust and remain loyal to Him. After David lost his son, he still rejoiced in God and thanked Him for the time they had shared together. Later God rewarded him with another child, Solomon who grew up to be king. God will use your situation to reward you. God’s rewards are not earthly materials. He rewards His people through blessings such as good health, life accomplishments, and mental peace and so on. Job became so poor that his wife asked him to denounce God. Job refused and God rewarded him with multiple wealth more than he had owned before he became destitute.

5. Help others seek God in their suffering

It’s often said that actions speak louder than words. A human testimony will make others seek God in their own suffering. Write a song describing how God came through for you in your time of need. Let other people relate to your suffering. Connect with them and give them hope. The best songs affect human life positively.
