Salvation prayers

Below in the video “Are You Ready?” it gives you one scenario that might take place. This video depicts a church setting where believers are gathered during a sermon .. Hence the Rapture takes place ..    but not everyone is raptured. “Why?” you ask? The answer is, that not everyone was ready or prepared, so they were left behind.

CLICK ON THE BUTTON to the right, for a short Good Reading: “Left Behind”

(A testimony from the Webmaster)

In May 2004, I was sick in bed with pneumonia for 9 days. I stayed in bed like the doctor told me to, but had this consuming energy to do something, but wasn’t quite sure of what. I decided to take advantage of the down time away from work, and read a book that I had always wanted to read: Left Behind.** This book stirred something up in me to go on a quest searching through my Bible.

**NOTE: I am not trying to sell anyone on the Left Behind books (there is also a movie and sequels called the Left Behind Series) as it is fictional, but I, like many of you, have heard and wondered and became very curious about “The Rapture” of Christ’s faithful followers.

Many believe that this day will come after certain events have taken place, some believe not at all in our lifetime. After much study, my own personal belief is that the Rapture will take place at the middle/end of the Great Tribulation, but definitely before the bowls of God’s wrath are poured out on all mankind. “The Great Tribulation” is an event referred to in the New Testament of the Bible in Revelation 7:15:  And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.”

After much searching through scripture and other media, there is one absolute conclusion I came to: That regardless of who is right and who is wrong about the Rapture**,  NO ONE should wait another moment to accept Jesus Christ or put it off until the “time is right” to tell your loved ones the Good News which is …

… That by one’s accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and by asking for forgiveness of their sins, the Gift of Salvation is there and waiting for them. No one knows the day or the time that our Lord Jesus will come to take up His Church. But wouldn’t you want your loved ones and yourself to be ready – whether it is in this lifetime or not? Whether we have to suffer through the tribulation or not? Why take the risk? Do you understand the risk of not accepting the Gift of Salvation? I will tell you: “YOU RUN AN ETERNAL RISK OF BEING SEPARATED FROM GOD FOREVER.” The Bible tells us that God is Love. Try and think of a world where no Love exists. Wouldn’t that be awful? So, in actuality, a world without God or the Holy Spirit, is a world without Guidance and Love. And being separated from God is like being lost and separated from Love.

When I was a baby, I was baptized and grew up in the Methodist Church. I was confirmed in the Lutheran Church at the age of 30 and then water-baptized in the Pentecostal Church at the age of 44. If you understand what I am saying about being separated from God, no matter what religion you are – but do not share this wisdom with your loved ones, you run the risk of THEM being separated from God FOREVER.  Please, I beg of you, open your heart to God and listen, and/or open your Bible and read His powerful Living Word.

MY READING SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW BELIEVERS:

FIRST: Study the book of John, then Romans and then Matthew. If you have trouble understanding the Bible, try reading the New International Version (NIV)

Scripture Indicating the Return of Jesus Christ:

Matthew 24: 23-31 (NIV)
23 At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. 24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect if that were possible. 25 See, I have told you ahead of time. 26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. 29 “Immediately after the distress of those days ” ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 30 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Matthew 24: 36-44 (NIV)

The Day and Hour Unknown
36 “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. 43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

1 Corinthians 15: 51-57 (NIV)
51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” 55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (NIV) Believers Who Have Died 13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Ever heard of the Salvation Prayer? How do we become “saved” or “born again?” The answer starts here:

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Romans 10:9)

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’”
(John 3:3)

What is the Salvation Prayer?

We have all sinned and deserve God’s judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible.

The Salvation Prayer is an important step along the road toward your rebirth in Jesus Christ. To be born again you must confess Jesus as Lord and believe that He is. When you ask Him into your heart, you are allowing Him to be the Lord of your life. Salvation takes place when we listen to the salvation message, believe it, renounce our sins and decide to receive Jesus into our hearts.

Salvation Prayer – 4 Simple Steps

  1. Acknowledge in your heart that Jesus is Lord.
  2. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.
  3. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and was raised three days later.
  4. Repent of your sins and get baptized in the name of Jesus.

Salvation Prayer – An Example

The Salvation Prayer is not a ritual based on specific words. This is not the power of a prayer, but the power of truly committing our lives to Christ as Savior and Lord. The following is merely a guideline for our sincere step of faith:

“God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”

If you decided to repent of your sins and receive Christ today, welcome to God’s family. Now, as a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment.

  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ.
  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
  • Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word. Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
  • Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus. Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
  • Find a local church where you can worship God.

What Do You Think?

Different people will have different experiences upon the heart-felt completion of this prayer. If you’ve truly come to the end of yourselves, you may experience a deeply emotional impact after saying this prayer. I know folks who have felt elated, as if the weight of the world was taken off them all at once. I know others who have been so broken by realizing the gravity of their sinful pasts, they’ve gone into an emotional meltdown for a week following their moment. These are what we consider dramatic salvation experiences.

My salvation experience was not dramatic. In fact, I didn’t feel anything. Then I did what you’re not supposed to do; I said the prayer again the next day–and the next day after that. Let me correct that notion now: You only say the Salvation Prayer once and you trust that the Holy Spirit has begun your regeneration as a child in Christ. What I did experience following the Salvation Prayer was a renewed starvation for God’s Word. I began to dive into Scripture more than I already had been. I was physically repelled from the living room during a violent television show. There were other signs as well, but know there are two ways you may have a salvation experience: dramatic or tender. I received the tender experience. What about you?

Spiritual Hunger for God

There is hunger placed inside of us that is never satisfied. We call it thirst and hunger for material things, ambition and success in work and relationships. But if we grow the things do not satisfy us any more. We can read all the philosophers on the subject of meaning of life and afterwards. But the hunger remains. This is a hunger for relationship. Relationship with God and Jesus. Jesus is the way for us in life. Jesus is the Truth as we experience relationship with Him. And He is Life.

Sin is the first thing that separates you from God.

Do you know your Sins have been forgiven by Jesus?
Bible declares that All men are sinners

All men have sinned and come short of the glory of God. If we say that we have no Sin, we deceive ourselves. Jesus came in flesh into this world for you can have through His death and resurrection total freedom from Sin. Jesus shed His precious Blood for your justification. If you pray your knowledge of God is released. Because you shall receive the Holy Spirit that reveals God to you.

Jesus shed His Holy Blood for you to have the Promice of God – The Eternal Life. Jesus is the Son of God and through Him we have access to God, because Jesus is the only way to Heaven and the only way to God.

Do you know that Divine Exchange happened on the Cross on the moment Jesus died on the Cross?

Jesus was punished for we can be forgiven. Our Sin was on Jesus for we shall receive healing. Jesus was made Sin for we shall receive righteousness. Jesus tasted death for us that we shall see the life and Eternal life. Jesus was made a curse for we may shall receive the Blessing of Abraham. Jesus became poor for we shall be rich. And He took our shame that we shall see the Glory. All accomplished on the cross for You.

If you give Jesus your life. You shall receive Eternal Life. And by giving yourself fully. With your whole being. If you do this.He will start to use you for the Glory of God

Do you know what is burning in the God’s Heart Today?
Salvation by Grace, not of human merit and works.

Mercy and Grace are the Love and Compassion of God towards us. In our trespasses God Love you so much that he sent His Son into this world to die on the Cross. And finish the work for what He came into the world – Save the humanity. Through Him the Grace and Truth came into the world. Jesus is Grace and Truth and the Salvation is possible only by Faith in Jesus. You are burning in the God’s Heart today to receive Jesus or renew your relationship with Him. Receive His Love, His Grace and His Holy Spirit. That is Real Salvation.

Salvation through Jesus – Believe in Jesus

If you believe in Jesus you have inheritance in heaven and you receive God’s Promise – The Eternal Life. Jesus is a door to Eternal Life without Him you perish forever. Jesus Himself said „I am the Resurrection and Life whosoever believeth in Me shall never taste death“. Please listen carefully: That is your way to Eternal Life: Faith in Jesus. Just Believe and pray.

Enter the Prayer of Salvation with your heart. Bible declares you are saved. This is a confirmation from the written word. If you start to speak in tongues. Be sure you have been baptised with the Holy Ghost. If there are no tongues. Bible declares still that you are saved and born again. They come later for confirmation of Baptism.

Personal Prayer of Salvation

Almighty God,

I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus I believe You are the Son of God and the only way to God. That You died on the Cross for my Sins and rose again from the dead. I confess that my life has been sinful separated from You ( Rom 3:23 ). Forgive my sins. Jesus I believe You shed Your precious Blood on the Cross for my justification. I thank You for Loving me.

Jesus I turn to You. Heal my body and soul. Heal my body, …heal my life. Come into my heart. Fill my soul. Change me. Mold me. Use me. Heal me. Deliver me. Transform my life and never let me be the same again. Cleanse me with your Holy blood and make me Whole.

Jesus – in You I have the Eternal life. And this is Eternal Life, that I may know You, the only True God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent ( John 17:1-5 ). Let me know You deeply through Holy Spirit Father. Reveal Your Will to me according to my calling.

Heavenly Father fill me with the Holy Spirit and Baptize me with the Holy Ghost and Fire. That I may have part of the First Resurrection ( Rev 20:5-6). I receive Your Spirit and the Spiritual Gifts as Holy Spirit gives me according to His Will. I desire for Spiritual Gifts.

Jesus. Give me a new mind and new heart and a new spirit. Transform my life as I surrender to Your Divine Calling. I surrender to Your will. I surrender to receive the Power!

Jesus is Alive and hears my prayer right now!

I give myself fully to You Jesus. I give myself fully to You Holy Spirit.
I receive Your Power!
I receive Your Anointing!
I receive the Anointing of the Holy Ghost right now!

The presence of God is over my life!

And now I proclaim : “God Almighty is my Father. Jesus Christ is my Saviour. Holy Spirit is my Comforter ( John 16:7-15 ). I am Born Again of the water and of the Spirit ( John 3:5-6 ). I have inherited an Eternal Life. I am now part of the Body of Christ ( Rom 12:5 ).”

In Jesus Mighty and Holy name and in the Blood of Everlasting Covenant (Hebrews 13:20-21),

I Pray and give You the Glory,
Amen
