Prayer for my little girl

Dear Lord,

I just ask that you lay your hands on my precious baby girl, Jaeda. She seems so unhappy, angry and sad. I need you, Lord to give me the strength and wisdom to be what she needs and do what is best for her. She worries and creates so much stress for herself at only five years old. I pray that you break this genetic curse of depression and anxiety; and start it with her. I want to thank you for blessing me with such a beautiful, smart and amazing little girl. She deserves so much happiness, Lord.

Please, I ask that you speak to my heart and tell me what I need to do; and how to reach her and get close to her again. My heart is breaking as I am pushed away physically, emotionally and verbally every single day. I ask that you touch her heart and mind; and guide me as I continue to search for answers. Thank you for Jaeda’s gift of salvation at such a young age. I just pray all of these things in your precious holy name. Amen.

If you are a new reader here, I wanted to give you a little background on who I am. I am a mom to four little ladies that God has entrusted to my husband and me. I feel so blessed that he picked US to be their parents, that he trusted US to raise them in a Godly home, focused on Him. I pray daily for my girls, and I wanted to share an example of a prayer I have said. I pray that you too pray for your children daily. God bless all these little people growing up in today’s world!

Dear Jesus,

Please help me be the best mom I can be to my sweet little girls. They are growing into such fun little people and I’m tempted to become their friend. Lord, you know I treat my family better than my friends. Please help me to remember that I show my love for them by being their mom and not their BFF’s.

I know that means I have to correct their sweet little faces. Please help me to be fair, loving, and attentive to their physical and spiritual needs. Guide me as I teach them and help me to be a good example. I know they are watching me. They copy me when they wear my shoes, when they want a swoosh of lip gloss, and even the manner in which they speak is similar to mine. Please help me to be a Godly example at all times.

Tenderly remind me that they are never far away and those sweet baby girls are always observing me.

May my actions towards others be something that is worthy of being mimicked. May my words be something they can repeat. May the looks and mannerisms I show be something they are proud to copy. May my love pour onto them and then through them. Let them be a shining example to the world, and may that allow the world to wonder what it is that they know. What is it that the world can learn from my sweet girls? It’s You Lord, You. The love I have for YOU, Lord…let it be evident in my life. Please bless my relationship with my sweet little ladies. Please help me to keep growing in my Christian walk. Please prompt me to pray for my daughters AND myself. Let me not forget myself Lord, because I need prayer as much as they do.

Thank you for blessing and entrusting me with these precious girly girls Lord. My heart overflows every time I look at them. I’m amazed that you trusted ME to be their Mother. I praise God for that blessing every day of my life. I promise to take good care of them for You, Lord Jesus.

Amen.
