The Lord is faithful to his promises and loving to all he has made. Father, help me to find faith in these trying times. Often I have no idea where my life is headed. I seems like my life is spinning out of control most times.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Situations come my way that I cannot face, decisions need to be made and I do not know which is the right choice. Obstacles seem insurmountable, enemies seem unbeatable. I feel scared and alone. But God… You are the author and finisher of my faith.

Psalm 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your authority endures from one generation to another.
God is faithful about everything he says and merciful in everything he does.

I trust you with my entire heart at times and other times I find my faith dwindling. I find it hard to muster that mustard seed of faith. Abba, today I pray for renewal of my faith.

Even though my future seems uncertain, I will look to you, I will keep my eyes turned to you. My spirit would be at rest knowing you are in control of my life.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to humble in all my weakness and ask that you touch my heart, open my eyes, clear my ears so I can accept your word and guidance. Father I come to you a sinner in this world and pray for your abundant love and forgiveness I am weak and in so ask that you take my burden to free me from my own self destruction. Today I walk alone without purpose and direction gasping for a life in your service to find peace and serenity. Oh my dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for ever pursuing me and drawing me into your light, regardless of my ego that has falsely instilled a sense of power over my life, please forgive my transgressions and sins, forgive my trespasses and for give my weakness.

I am on a path to divorce I have hurt my wife and allowed myself to lose my self in a relationship near 20 years. I beg dear Lord pull from me the shame and pain I feel about myself and lift me to your service. Dear Father lighten your plan for me to see and work towards your will, as I step into my next moment of human existence. Dear Lord our Father you are all powerful and all knowing, you know my heart and you know my life, I pray you reveal to me my next step.
In the name of your only Son Jesus Christ the Savior of the Universe I pray! Amen

Prayer for the Broken-Hearted

Lord, my heart is broken but You are near. My spirit is crushed, but You are my rescuer. Your Word is my hope. It revives me and comforts me in especially now. My soul faints, but you are the breath of life within me. You are my help, the One who sustains me. I am weak but You are strong. You bless those who mourn, and I trust You to bless me and my family with all that we need. You will rescue me from this dark cloud of despair because You delight in me.
