Prayer after giving tithes

Many offertory prayers include an invitation to the offering. Whether you are rejoicing in the resurrection of the Lord or giving support to your local church, here is a look at some great prayers for tithes and offerings.

Prayer #1 – Give with Gladness and Sincerity

Father in Heaven, We thank You today for Your blessings that you bestow upon us all. Father, I pray for our congregation today. Lord, may we all give with gladness and sincerity.

Father, no one ever gives a present to someone with reluctance and we should never give You what already belongs to You with reluctance either. Bless these tithes and offerings this day. We love You, Father!

Amen

Prayer #2 – Bless these Tithes and Offerings

O Lord, We thank You for Your steadfast love and mercy on us. Father, we believe that every word in the Bible was breathed out by You (2 Tim 3:16), and we believe Your promise that You will bless us when we are obedient to Your Word.

And so, without hesitation, we gladly give to You what is Yours. Bless these tithes and offerings, Father. We love You, Lord!

Amen

Prayer #3 – Give Because We Love You

We thank You for bringing us all to Your house safely today and we are so blessed by Your presence here today. Thank You for Your love and mercy on us, Father. Father, we believe in the Book of Proverbs and I pray that everyone here will look into their hearts and act in obedience to Your Word.

May we give not to become richer, though, may we give because we simply love You! Accept these tithes and offerings today. We love You, Lord!

Amen

Prayer #4 – We Honor You with Our Wealth

We praise Your Almighty Name! You have blessed our nation with immense wealth and opportunity. Lord, You have commanded us to honor You with our wealth, and I pray that You will be honored greatly this day as we give to You what is already Yours. Bless these cheerful givers and bless the tithes and offerings that they give. We love You!

Amen

Prayer #5 – Giving in Obedience

O Lord, There are some of us here today that didn’t want to come here. There are some of us today that will give to the offering with bitter hearts. Father, I pray You will soften the hearts of those who are worried about giving You their money instead of spending it on themselves.

Father, I pray that You will bless all who give today and show them Your love in a mighty way because of their obedience. Bless these tithes and offerings, Father. We love You!

Amen

Prayer #6 – The Tithe is Yours

Father, We come to Your throne with humble hearts as we are so thankful for the blessings You give us daily. Lord, We believe in the Book of Leviticus. Father, I pray that as we give

You our offerings and tithes this morning that we all will think about the fact that the tithe is Yours. It belongs to You. May we never withhold what is Yours. Please accept these offerings and tithes with gladness, Lord. We Love You!

Amen

Prayer #7 – We Give You What is Already Yours

Dear Lord, We thank You for another chance for us to meet together in Your house to worship You. Father, we believe in the Book of 1 Corinthians and I pray that all offerings given today are out of love.

We experience Your blessings every day and Your blessings are always given to us freely and with ultimate love. Father, You loved us all of the way to the cross! May we love You enough to give You what is already Yours. Bless these tithes and offerings today. We love you!

Amen

Prayer #8 – Take It and Use It for Your Kingdom

Lord, we thank for Your faithfulness. Thank you that we can always trust in You. You are an abundant God and out of Your great mercy you have given us so much.

We give you this offering today. With it we worship You and give our whole selves to You. Please now take it and use it for Your kingdom and Your glory. Extend and multiple its reach and influence we pray. May it be a great blessing to many.

We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus.

Amen.

Prayer #9 – Sanctify Every Beat of My Heart

O my God ! I offer Thee all my actions of this day for the intentions and for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I desire to sanctify every beat of my heart, my every thought, my simplest works, by uniting them to Its infinite merits ; and I wish to make reparation for my sins by casting them into the furnace of Its Merciful Love.

O my God! I ask thee for myself and for those whom I hold dear, the grace to fulfill perfectly Thy Holy Will, to accept for love of Thee the joys and sorrows of this passing life, so that we may one day be united together in Heaven for all Eternity.

Amen.

Prayer #10 – Thank You for Meeting My Financial Needs

Heavenly Father, thank you for your many blessings and I thank you that as I give tithes and offerings, I am believing the Lord for:

Jobs and better jobs, raises and bonuses, benefits, sales and commissions, favorable settlements, estates and inheritances, interest and income, rebates and returns, discounts and dividends, checks in the mail, gifts and surprises, finding money, bills decreased and bills paid off, blessings and increase.

Thank you Lord for meeting my financial needs that I may have more than enough to give into the kingdom of God and promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Raise your hand and say, “It’s true, it’s for me, and I’m a giver. God has given to me and I am not limited by the world’s economy. Heaven’s economy is mine.”

Thank you Lord for your many blessings. They come in from every direction and I bless the name of the Lord Jesus who made it possible for me to return to what God intended me to be; full of authority through His name and very blessed.

Thank you Lord, in Jesus’ name.
Amen

Bible Verses to Open your Prayer on Tithes and Offerings

GEN. 14:19–20
And he blessed him and said,
“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth;
and blessed be God Most High,
who has delivered your enemies into your hand!”
And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.

LEV. 27:30–34
Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the Lord’s; it is holy to the Lord. If a man wishes to redeem some of his tithe, he shall add a fifth to it. And every tithe of herds and flocks, every tenth animal of all that pass under the herdsman’s staff, shall be holy to the Lord. One shall not differentiate between good or bad, neither shall he make a substitute for it; and if he does substitute for it, then both it and the substitute shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.”

DEUT. 12:5–6
But you shall seek the place that the Lord your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation there. There you shall go, and there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, your vow offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock.

2 CHRON. 31:4–5
And he commanded the people who lived in Jerusalem to give the portion due to the priests and the Levites, that they might give themselves to the Law of the Lord. As soon as the command was spread abroad, the people of Israel gave in abundance the firstfruits of grain, wine, oil, honey, and of all the produce of the field. And they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything.

MARK 12:41–44
And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

Money, like any topic, is an issue that needs to be addressed in the church.  Jesus talked more about money than anything else in the Bible.  If you are leading an offering prayer in your congregation, read through these seven different short prayers you can pray to God before you take up the offering.

The Cheerful Giver

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Father in Heaven,

We thank You today for Your blessings that you bestow upon us all.  Father, I pray for our congregation today.  Lord, may we all give with gladness and sincerity.  Father, no one ever gives a present to someone with reluctance and we should never give You what already belongs to You with reluctance either.  Bless these tithes and offerings this day.  We love You, Father!  Amen

Watch What I Will Do!

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. (Malachi 3:10)

O Lord,

We thank You for Your steadfast love and mercy on us. Amen

You Reap What You Sow

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. (Proverbs 11:24)

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for bringing us all to Your house safely today and we are so blessed by Your presence here today.  Thank You for Your love and mercy on us, Father.  Father, we believe in the Book of Proverbs and I pray that everyone here will look into their hearts and act in obedience to Your Word.  May we give not to become richer, though, may we give because we simply love You!  Accept these tithes and offerings today.  We love You, Lord!  Amen

Obey

Honor the Lord with your wealth. (Proverbs 3:9a)

Father,

We praise Your Almighty Name!  You have blessed our nation with immense wealth and opportunity.  Lord, You have commanded us to honor You with our wealth, and I pray that You will be honored greatly this day as we give to You what is already Yours.  Bless these cheerful givers and bless the tithes and offerings that they give.  We love You!  Amen

His Eyes See Your Intentions

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6:21)

O Lord,

There are some of us here today that didn’t want to come here. Amen

The Tithe Belongs To The Lord

Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the Lord’s; it is holy to the Lord. (Leviticus 27:30)

Father,

We come to Your throne with humble hearts as we are so thankful for the blessings You give us daily.  Lord, We believe in the Book of Leviticus.  Father, I pray that as we give You our offerings and tithes this morning that we all will think about the fact that the tithe is Yours.  It belongs to You.  May we never withhold what is Yours.  Please accept these offerings and tithes with gladness, Lord.  We Love You!  Amen

Love Is Essential

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3)

Dear Lord,

We thank You for another chance for us to meet together in Your house to worship You. Amen

Conclusion

Giving back to God is commanded, and is something that should be done with joy and cheerfulness.  As you approach your next church service, consider tithing if you don’t already.  You will be amazed at how God makes everything work out.  May God continue to bless you as you live a life worthy of the calling!

There are certain churches that want to enhance the intake of tithes and offerings in order to facilitate the many necessities and visions of the church and individual Believers that are perfectly pleased to give to God are restricted in the sum they could give as their particular work opportunities dictate what they earn.

Increasing Tithes and Offerings thru Tithes and Offering Explosion

This reliance upon a job as a provider has instituted limits while in the mind of both church leaders and church members as to what is financially possible. You see? Currently, most churches depend upon the giving of their congregations as the congregation depends just on the jobs they have to provide that money each of them need.

While jobs are important to have, it is also important to understand who we are as Christian believers and the promises that God makes about capital.

God says that the silver is His, the gold is His, the cattle upon a thousand hills are His. Check this out! 8The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. 9The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. Haggai 2:8-9

Welcome To The Prayer For Your Financial Offering
This is simply a video I’ve put together where I would like to pray for anyone within the sound of my voice.
All I ask you to do is to agree with me as we seek our Heavenly Father.
Please continue to meditate on this prayer for yourself.
Speak it daily or listen to this video over and over again and allow the Word of God concerning your offering to reach deep into your spirit.
    Let us pray…
Heavenly Father, we gather together here online and come into agreement in the wonderful and powerful name of Jesus.
Where two or more are gathered there You shall surely be and anything we agree upon as touching You will surely do.
The Bible says that if there is any unforgiveness that it should be dealt with before praying.
Therefore we release any anger, bad feelings, resentment or any other wrong attitude before You now.
We lay it at your feet and we release and forgive those who have wronged us.
I lift up those watching this video and we come into agreement and lift up their offering.
Father we know that You are pleased that the listener would take time to pray about the offering because they desire to do what is right in Your sight.
They are giving as they make up in their own minds and purpose in their hearts, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion.
    You love a cheerful giver.
Lord, help the listener to be directed by the Holy Spirit when it comes to the offering.
Show them where You want them to give and how much.
They are ready and willing to serve You Lord.
We know that He who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously will also reap generously.
Together in agreement we declare that You are able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to the listener in abundance.
They will always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient – possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation.
Lord give the listener more seed to sow.
We call in promotions, advances, investment opportunities, inheritances, business ideas, and other means of financial increase so that the listener can give more.
Grant the listener wisdom, revelation, and understanding when it comes to financial stewardship.
Thank You for providing and increasing their resources for sowing and increasing the fruits of our righteousness.
The listener is enriched in all things and in every way, so that they can be generous, and as their generosity is administered it will bring forth thanksgiving to You.
Father, we have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
We thank You for food, clothing and shelter.
    You are so good Lord.
    Praise Your Name.
    The listener refuses to fear.
They trust in You and stand on Your Word that You are their Source and Provider.
We declare on the authority of Your Word that the listener lives in abundance to be a blessing.
You delight in the prosperity of Your people and we thank You that wealth and riches are in listener’s house and their righteousness endures forever.
Goodness and mercy follows the listener all the days of their life.
    In Jesus Name.
    Amen.

God desires to bless you financially. He has more than enough to bless all of us. We just need to follow certain steps and He will answer our financial prayer requests.

Are you praying for a new job, money to pay bills, money to pay your mortgage, college tuition, a business venture or any other kind of financial need?

I am a living witness that God will answer your prayers. In this article, I’m going to share a few tips on how you can get your financial prayer requests answered. I am also going to share how God answered my prayer requests.

God Will Bless Your Finances When You Pay Your Tithes & Offering

Paying tithes is an act of faith. As children of God’s Kingdom, He wants us to pay 10% of our income (or increase). So, let’s say that you receive $1,000. The tithe that you pay to your church is $100.

There are many people who will totally disagree with this statement. Some people believe that tithing ended during the Old Testament years. They are sadly mistaken.

The Bible says: “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.” -Malachi 3:8

Then verse 9 reads:

“Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.” -Malachi 3:9

When we don’t pay our tithes, we are robbing God. As a result, we experience financial hardship. It’s important to note that when we fail to tithe, it could also affect other aspects of our lives (health, family, etc.). The return on your tithing investment doesn’t always have to be money.

For instance, let’s say that you need $7,000 to pay for a bill. You do not have that money in the bank. You can’t take out a loan and you have just been laid off. However, you have paid your tithes consistently. You have prayed and asked God to provide for you. You are full of faith.

God may not give you the money to pay the bill. He may decide to touch the heart of the bill collector to write off the bill. God works in mysterious ways!

This happened to me. I owed $3,000 for a bill. I paid tithes consistently during this period of my life. I prayed and asked God to provide me with the money to pay.

When I called to confirm the full amount I really owed, the bill collector said that I didn’t have to pay. He put me on hold and removed the debt from his computer.

I didn’t miraculously receive a blank check in the mail from an anonymous person. I didn’t get a raise or a second job. God touch the heart of the bill collector on that day. The bill collector decided to remove the debt for good.

Not Paying Tithes Causes Financial Loss (My Experience – Not Good!)

I’m not embarrassed to admit; there was a time that I robbed God of my tithes. I would receive my pay and not give God His portion. I would say, “If I pay tithes, I won’t have enough to pay my bills.”

Then something would go wrong in my life.

I would lose a job and not be able to pay any bills. I remember one time, I had stopped paying tithes altogether because I assumed that I couldn’t afford to pay. Then one day, something happened to my bank account.

I was in a situation where the bank put a hold on my account. I had a negative balance of $200. There is nothing worse than discovering your bank account is -$200 (or any amount).

At this point, I was pulling my hairs out.

I was on the phone with the bank’s customer service department for what seemed like an hour. I pleaded with them to rectify my account. They didn’t offer to resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, during this time in my life, I wasn’t trusting God as my provider. I was trusting more in the bank and people.

I went to bed that night worrying about my financial situation. I prayed like never before, but deep inside, I felt God telling me, “The answer is no.”

I would pray again, “Lord, please bless me with money. I really need your help! Please Lord!” Then I would hear Him say almost like a whisper, “No,” once again.

I couldn’t understand why I kept having financial problems. Then one day, it dawned on me that I was suffering because I wasn’t paying tithes consistently.

I knew the importance of paying tithes in the past, but I didn’t understand. I just allowed fear and doubt to creep into my life.

I asked God to please forgive me. He forgave me. Then He eventually blessed me to come out of the financial problem.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time I suffered financially. It took me years to understand the importance of paying tithes.

When I finally decided to pay tithes (no matter what), God would always provide for me. I had money to buy food every week. I had money to pay bills. However, there were still some things that I needed to accomplish.

One day I prayed to Jesus. I asked Him to help increase my income. I needed a breakthrough like never before. The money that I was earning wasn’t enough to accomplish all of my goals.

The economy was bad and the job market in the town I live in was bleak. I just needed a financial blessing.

As I was walking to my bedroom, God said, “You have to sow a seed of faith.”

In other words, If I wanted my financial prayers to be answered, I needed to give to the less fortunate (after paying tithes).

I have learned that when you are obedient with tithing and you give extra to the less fortunate (poor families or financially struggling families), you are guaranteed a financial blessing.

When Will God Bless You Financially?

Keep in mind, God’s time is not our time. It could be tomorrow, next week, next month, next year or longer. There is no way to tell when He will bless you. However, I can assure you that He will supply your financial needs.

You won’t have to worry about having a roof over your head because He will supply. You don’t have to worry about food or clothes because He will supply.

Don’t Worry About Your Finances – God Knows and He Will Supply

In Matthew 6:25 – 32 God tells us that when you have faith in Him, you don’t ever have to worry about food, clothes, shelter, etc.. Jesus will provide.

Then in verse 33 and 34 He says:

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Receive More Financial Blessings When You Pay Beyond The 10% Tithe

When you give to others who are less fortunate (after paying your tithes), God will begin to pour out His blessings upon you. I am also a living witness.

When God gave me the idea to sow a seed (or give)into the lives of the less fortunate, my financial situation changed almost instantly.

After paying tithes one week, I gave money to a struggling family. It wasn’t even a large amount of money. The amount you give to a struggling family could be $5, $20, $100 or more. Sometimes God will lead a person on what amount of money to give.

How I Received My Financial Breakthrough

The next day, I received a phone call from someone who wanted to give me $2,000. That was more than enough to accomplish what I needed to accomplish that week. This is a long way from hearing God say, “No,” to my financial prayer request!

The moment I received the money, I felt the love of God pour over me like warm oil. He took the time out to fulfill my needs.

When you give from your heart (consistently) and you trust ONLY in God as your provider, I guarantee you will be blessed financially. There is no other God that will fulfill your need. You just got to trust and give and He will provide your financial need.

The following scripture is true:

“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” -Luke 6:38”

Do You Need a Financial Blessing?

Here are a few tips on how to receive your financial blessings:

1. Give God 10% of everything you earn.

Give a 10th of this tithe to your church.

2. Give money to a poor or financially struggling family.

This can be money, food, school supplies for children.

3. Trust God as your provider.

You must trust God as your provider 100%. Don’t rely on your job, business or anyone else – just God. This shows Him that you love Him and rely on Him for all of your financial needs.

4. Pray daily for your finances.

Make sure you pray daily that God will provide your needs. Pray without ceasing/

5. Praise Him and Thank Him.

After you pray, make sure you thank Him for providing for your financial needs. You have to thank Him as if you already received your financial blessing. I learned to do this and it works!

Luke 6:38 reads: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

When you praise God and thank Him for answering your prayers BEFORE you receive the answer – that is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.

6. Read scriptures daily about financial blessings.

Read and meditate on scriptures about financial blessings from God. For example, when I need help financially, I like reading the following scripture of faith:

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” -Luke 11:9

God is Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Will Provide).

God wants to bless us. All we have to do is trust in Him and give. He loves us. He will fulfill your financial need. I have tried and trusted Him for my financial needs. If He can bless me, He can bless you!
