Divine spiritual principles described in the Bible and in the textbook Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy have a healthy influence on people’s hearts and minds and they are manifested through such Christian qualities as patience, meekness and love. It is written in the 1st Chapter of the Bible that God had created man in God’s own image and likeness. So everyone reflects those loving qualities as rays of the sun reflect its comforting light.
When we fervently strive to reach the highest and purest ideals and open our hearts to the divine light or moral spiritual laws of God which are present wherever we are, when we trustingly look to ever-present divine Love then each of us is able to perceive immediately the healing power of Love and its healing influence on the individual.
Regardless of location, time, age, or religious beliefs, this scientific, Christian healing prayer is available to everybody that sincerely searches for mental or physical health and harmony in their life.
Christian Science Healing – Spiritual Healing Prayers
Christian spiritual healing prayers restore physical and mental health and happiness at the same time. The Christian prayer is based on the spiritual understanding of the omnipotent healing power of Love. Love is the universal energy which is the most important healing energy within all spiritual practices. For example, Hinduists which practice the science of chakras, believe that love resides in the very centre of the human being, called the heart chakra. Similar to christian prayes, Hinduists recite ‘mantras’. The spiritual prayers for healing the sick rest on the practitioner and patient’s heartfelt acknowledgement and affirmation of the spiritual power of divine Love, God and also on the realization and contemplation of man’s perfection as the Scriptures declare, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
Heartfelt recognition and realization of the God’s spiritual laws of Christian Science Mind-healing and a fervent desire to demonstrate these spiritual laws is a key to finding health, happiness and harmony manifested in our every day life.
Christian Science prayer does not know any boundaries in its healing effect, restoring health and harmony to mind, soul, and body. This metaphysical method of Christian Science healing rests on the inspired God’s spiritual laws and Christianity described in the Bible and in the book Science and Health.

Cancer happens always unexpectedly. This diagnosis is always shocking. It’s shocking not only to those who are diagnosed, but also affects all other family members as well. First reaction usually is anger, frustration and fear. We are afraid of the pain of treatment, the uncertainty in cancer progress and our future. Death and sickness for some people are challenges that threaten their faith. It becomes difficult for our faith to be nourished and strengthened in the love of God when we are faced with this difficult disease. In such situation can help prayer for healing and strength, prayer for healing cancer, health and comfort.
Really the only way to stay strong in such situations is to address God with our prayers. Even those people who feel far away from God, try to find some hope and encouragement in His words and say prayer for healing. God always gives us a hope, He is always with us as Isaiah 43:2 says: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you”. So you need to be: “strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Keep hope alive
In cancer situation we need to stay strong and keep hope. The Word of God is the most powerful weapon we have as His children to ward off threats to our faith. We should know that although the sickness might be exhausting, we need to rely on God’s will and mercy.
God is with you every time of the day and even in this trial time, He knows you inside and out and knows the pains you are experiencing right now. He alone has the power to help you in such situation. The Word of God in Matthew 11: 28 says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me.” This is only one of many promises of God for you in His word. The study of the God’s word help you to discover many truths in the Bible pertaining to you.
God is aware of what you are going through. He only wants you to talk to Him and trust Him. God will give you hope and confidence in the healing, health and strength in your situation. What you need to do is as 1 Thessalonians 5:17 say: “pray without ceasing”. In this article, we will list some powerful prayer points for the healing of cancer and giving strength in disease situation. Don’t lose faith and God will touch you at the very point where you need Him.
Your faith is needed in prayer for strength and healing
I know how your hope may have got dashed when you got the report from your doctor concerning this disease. Gоd’ѕ Wоrd says the рrауеr оf faith ѕhаll heal the sick. Go tо God today іn fаіth аnd аѕk that Hе heals уоu frоm ѕісknеѕѕ. We rесеіvе hеаlіng by faith. Oреn yourself uр tоdау to God’s blessings, hеаlіng аnd mіrасlеѕ. Let аll worries lеаvе уоur heart. Dоn’t fоrgеt and believe that уоu hаvе the Gоd who саrеѕ, who lоvеѕ уоu ѕо dеерlу аnd wіll nеvеr lеt уоu go.
Prayer for healing
Your level of faith is proportional to the healing you get. You may never understand why God allowed this to happen to you but you should trust His word in Jeremiah 29:11. His plan for you is to prosper, give you good health and a future. See your future from today; refuse to believe that this disease would terminate your plans.
Your level of faith is proportional to the healing you get
Although the questions “Why me? Why should this happen to me?” may be on your lips, we should understand that God allows some things to happen on purpose. This doesn’t mean He loves you less or that it is punishment for your sins. Do not underestimate His love for you. Accept this situation as part of your life and keep the hope in your heart, that even if God have other plan for you here on earth, you will reign with Him eternally.
Christian prayer for strength and healing cancer
God, I know the burden of my healing is upon your shoulders, therefore I place this burden of cancer into your hands and I ask that you lift me up in body, soul and spirit even when my faith is shaken and hope is declining. I pray for hope, strength and encouragement. Please work in my heart, please take away all my fears. I pray for consolation and reconciliation.
And I thank you for your love you give to me. I know that you are aware of what this illness is causing to my body right now, I ask you God, be merciful for me. Your word in Psalm 107:19-20 says that when I call out to you, you will give the command, heal and rescue me from death and diseases, I have read of your wondrous healing in the Bible and I believe that in the same way you will heal cancer in my body.
I know that there is nothing impossible for you, so I ask you for healing in this situation of my life too. Please let me know and understand your plans for me and help me to feel your presence like never before.
My experience in life has taught me that it is not everyone who falls sick gets healed. If that happen to be me in this situation, help me to know and understand your plans for me and let me be calm.
I thank you God for my hope of healing and health. I pray you God, that you guide the doctors in the treatment of my disease. Amen.
Hold on to your faith, the promises of God and keep the hope alive. Remember the daily prayer and enjoy the peace of God. God bless you!

Christian fitness is all about honoring God by taking great care of your body. Exercise is an extremely important element of your health and well-being. There is simply no path to better health and weight loss that does not include sufficient exercise.
Lord, please help me find ways to become more active each day. Give me the discipline to establish and maintain a regular habit of exercise so that I may improve my physical health, look and feel better, and more effectively carry your message and fulfill your vision for me as a Christian.
Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
On its face, Isaiah 40:31 suggests that physical strength is a result of, or reward for, hope in the Lord. If you hope in the Lord, you will run without growing weary and walk without being faint. This makes intuitive sense because attending to your faith can invigorate you both mentally and physically. However, read in the general context of Isaiah 40 (“Comfort for God’s People”), verse 31 does not seem to be meant to address merely physical strength.
Nonetheless, Isaiah 40:31 can be read to provide inspiration to improve your physical fitness. If you emphasize the word “will” as it is used throughout the passage, it begins to sound like an instruction: “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.” “They will run…” “They will walk…” In this light, running, walking, and renewing your strength are things that you should do as part of your faith; they are the fundamentals of Christian fitness, and they are part of what it means to “hope in the LORD.”
This alternative view also makes intuitive sense. At least one well-known passage in the Bible clearly indicates that you are meant to take proper care of your body: “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20). With the benefit of modern medical knowledge, it would be difficult to argue that proper care of one’s body does not include physical exercise. And the healthier and stronger that you are, the better you will be able to carry God’s message and fulfill his vision for you as a Christian.
As numerous studies demonstrate, the many possible health benefits of regular exercise can hardly be disputed, including increased energy, loss of excess weight, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, a stronger immune system, improved circulation, improved metabolic function, improved digestion, lower stress and anxiety, improved sleep, and improved mood. Who wouldn’t say yes to all of these things? And this list is only a sampling of the many beneficial effects of regular exercise. Best of all, you do not need to go to extremes to reap these benefits. Indeed, while getting the exercise you need definitely requires commitment and time, it can also be easy and fun.
If you are like many people, you may not get nearly the amount of exercise that you need, and the steps suggested here are for you. While eventually it will be important to undertake a more serious exercise regimen, for now, it is just important that you start moving. Getting even a small amount of light exercise can produce real benefits for your health and appearance, and will lay the foundation for more serious physical exercise later on.
Because each person has different health considerations, it is worth emphasizing the importance of working with your physician to determine the safety and appropriateness of any exercise program. If there is any reason that you cannot undertake the specific steps outlined here, your physician can help you determine appropriate exercise alternatives for you.
For most people, walking is an excellent first activity. It is free, requires little preparation, and all you need is a comfortable pair of shoes. Head out your door (or get on the treadmill) and walk at a comfortable pace. As you establish your routine and improve your fitness, you can walk farther, faster, or both. If you did nothing but take frequent walks, you would be gaining significant benefits over no exercise at all. However, you can of course also add great variety to your exercise. Swimming, hiking, biking, jogging, skating, gardening, golf, and countless other activities can be fun and beneficial. And again, all of these can be done – at least for now – at an easy, casual pace.
Other strategies that may help those who have trouble finding the time to exercise regularly include taking the stairs instead of an elevator or escalator, parking farther from the entrance to your destination, or taking the long route when walking from place to place during your day. With a little creativity, you can squeeze more exercise than you would imagine into a typical day. You can buy an inexpensive pedometer to get a rough idea of how much you are walking in a day, which can be fun and informative. If you sit at a desk all day, it is especially important to make time for a few breaks to get up and take a quick stroll.
Recite the prayer at the top of this page once a day for at least the next week. Aim for an initial target of one half hour of light exercise, such as walking or similar activity as described above, five days per week. It is fine if you need to start with a shorter length of time and build up to that target. Christian fitness is within your reach! If you already get sufficient exercise, it is nonetheless valuable to recite the prayer above to align your physical exercise with your faith.

Daily life is littered with all sorts of sickness. Flu season hit my household this week, and according to the CDC, most of United States is in the midst of a “high activity” flu season. One does not realize the luxury of the average day until it’s besieged and de-railed by influenza. Life comes to a pause, and workloads pile up.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that one in four adults had one or more chronic health conditions in 2012. Discouragement that leads to a depressive state cannot be categorized as a “it will never happen to me” notion. Mental health is an astronomical concern in this country. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, one in five adults in the US experience mental illness in a given year.
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” (3 John 1:2)
If our bodies and minds are ailing at such a high rate, it shouldn’t surprise us that our spiritual lives are unhealthy as well. LifeWay Research released a report in April of 2017 that states “more than half of Americans have read little or none of the Bible.” Though we don’t have full control over flu germs, depression, and terminal disease, we can choose to read Scripture daily.
Let’s pray for complete health, mind, body and soul. To seek His counsel in all things, and welcome the wisdom of the Holy Spirit into the part of our hearts that need healing. A healthy life is comprised of more than a fit physically body free of injury and illness.
A Prayer for Complete, Good Health
Praise You for this, and every day that we get to wake up this side of heaven. Each day is laced with purpose, and we ask for Your wisdom and guidance through every one. Help us to live each day well, and for Your glory, from start to finish.
Thank You for Your Word, which breathes life into our tired souls and minds. You promise to meet us there, in study and prayer. Thank You for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, paying with His life for our ease of access to our Heavenly Father through prayer and Scripture. Each biblical story and truth weave in and out our lives in Your perfect timing.
Father, You remind us throughout Scripture that You are faithful to Your people. Jeremiah 33:6 says, “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” So often, as in the Old Testament, we rebel, neglect to care for ourselves as You do, and end up tired and sick. But Father You are faithful to enwrap us in Your healing love each time we turn back to You.
Forgive us for neglecting to care for the life You have entrusted us with. The life that You have purposed specifically to do more than we can ask for or imagine. When we go our own way, we wear ourselves down, physically and mentally. Other times, we train physically but neglect our psyche. We often neglect our spiritual life.
Father, strengthen us to hold captive the joy You bless our lives with daily. Help us to walk freely in Your love. For as Paul reminds us in 1 Timothy 4:8 (VOICE), “Although training your body has certain payoffs, godliness benefits all things–holding promise for life here and now and promise for the life that is coming.” Send us more of Your Holy Spirit, to help us focus on Your Word daily. Give us hearts like Jesus.
Give us the wisdom to seek You first each day, before each decision. It’s often the little thoughts and daily decisions that lead us into a sudden spiral of bad health. Enlighten us and guide us through Your Word. Let our hearts burn for more of You each day.
Help us endure the pain of chronic conditions, some of which will not find healing in this broken and sinful world. We know that You work all things for good, but in those moments of chronic pain and suffering, it can be impossible to understand Your perfect and just hand in it all.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
