Here are 7 powerful verses along with 7 sample prayers to better position yourself and your business to receive the prosperity of God.
(1) Starts in Your Soul
Verse: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” 3 John 2
Prayer: Lord, teach me how to prosper in my body and in my spirit, for then I am well equipped to receive your blessings over me and my business.
(2) Meditate on It
Verse: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8
Prayer: Lord, guide me to constantly keep your Word in my Spirit and on my lips. Show me what works best for me to stay in your Word and when/how to meditate on it.
(3) Do It
Verse: “Therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.” Deuteronomy 29:9
Prayer: Holy Spirit, rise up in me the courage and the confidence to do what You tell me, when You tell me, and how You tell me to do it – whatever “it” is.

Prayer: Lord, keep my paths straight. Correct me if I wonder or get off course. Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance all things you’ve already taught me. Help keep me wholeheartedly committed to obeying Your commands so that we are blessable in Your sight.
(5) Continue in Good Works
Verse: “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
Prayer: Lord, grant me everything I need to continue your good works as You direct me. May everything I do be led by your Spirit and magnified into never-ending good works that bring you all the glory and honor.
(6) Leverage as a Testimony
Verse: “The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand”. Genesis 39:2-3
