Today blessing prayer

Have you ever thought about a Blessing Prayer? What exactly is it? A Blessing Prayer is one of the greatest things that you could ever do! This kind of Christian prayer has great power. Imagine praying for someone that has mistreated you. Maybe they told a lie about you at work that resulted in the loss of your job? Or perhaps you just wanted to pray for someone that was special to you. Whatever the reason, today Christian should always utter a prayer to bless others. In the meantime, I promise that while you pray like this that not only will it bless the other person but it also has power to change you!

Prayer for those that mistreat us and also for the faithful Christians in our lives as well.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come humbly before your presence praying for those that willfully wrong us. God, I must confess that this is very hard. It is hard to pray when they do not feel as if they have done anything wrong. However; Lord, I ask you to bless them. Shine your love brightly upon them so that they might see the error of their ways.

Not only do I pray for them but I also pray for the faithful Christians in our lives. I ask that you bless each one because if it had not been for them, then none of us would have ever known you as our personal Lord and Savior. Sometimes, God, I know that we fail to see our blessings! We do not see them even though they are right in front of our eyes. Forgive us for this. Thank you, Lord, for the for the gracious things that you pour upon our lives. In Jesus Name, Amen.

The Bible says in Matthew 5:43-44 “You have heard that it was said to love your neighbor and hate your enemy. However, I tell you to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”

Why Today Christian Need a Blessing Prayer Power?

The Bible also states that if we love those that only love us then what reward do we have? Most people do that! However, if we love those that don’t like us, then we are genuinely different from the rest of the world. The character of Jesus flows from our heart. Also, when we love others, we understand today Christian need for a Blessing Prayer power. We realize that this is an action that can change things. Therefore, we put this into practice with the life-changing faith that can knock mountains into the sea.

When we pray for other people, I genuinely believe that we are becoming more like Christ. While we spend our time praying for other people, there is no way that we could possibly think of ourselves. The Bible says that all men will know you are my disciples if you have a love for one another. WOW! What a statement! I do not know about you, but that drives me to be less self-centered and determined to be more God-centered in my actions.

Hello Child of God,     Tremendous  Tuesday

Sometimes the blessings are in the realm of the spiritual. God has given us His grace, His mercy and His favor, and poured out on us so many spiritual blessings.

Sometimes those blessings come in the form of people. Our family, our circle of friends, co-workers, ministry partners or fellow church members… all of these people are a part of who we are.

Sometimes those blessings are material or financial. Proverbs 10:22 says, “It is the blessing of the LORD that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it.” God is the source of all of our material and financial blessings.

When I take a moment to pause, here’s what I realize: I am grateful for God’s provision on me. I am thankful for my wonderful family. I am thankful for all of the people God has surrounded me with. And I am very thankful for you, our Faith family.

Most of all, I thank Him for the assurance of an abundant life in Jesus now, and the promise of an eternity in heaven. I encourage you press the pause button and reflect on the many, many blessings that God has poured out on you this past year.

May God bless you and yours in Jesus name, amen

Prayer for Spiritual Blessing – Bless me, Lord, I Pray with Love in Times of Hatred

Prayer for Spiritual Blessing
Dear Lord, You have told us
That the man that does not walk in the ways of the world
and refuses to be influenced by the trinkets
That this world offers and puts their trust in You is blessed indeed.

Bless me, Lord, I pray with love in times of hatred;
Goodness in times of hostility; peace in times of strife;
Hope in the midst of despair
Faith in the times of testing’s and joy in the times of pain
For my hope is in You alone.

You also told us that the one who delights in You
and meditates on Your word is like a fruitful tree
That is planted by the rivers of water.

Bless me, Lord, I pray,
With those blessings that only come from You Amen.

Verses of the Bible about Blessings, Favor, and Sovereignty over our Lives:
– For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield. – (Psalm 5:12).

– Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands.. (Psalm 90:17).

– For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11).

– but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning. (Psalm 30:5).

– By your favor you make us strong. (Psalm 89:17).

– My times are in your hands… (Psalm 31:15).

– For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)

– Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 1:3).

– And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 2:8).

– The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26).

– How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. (Psalm 31:19).

– And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28).

Prayer for Spiritual Blessing – Bless Me, Lord, I Pray with Love in Times of Hatred

– Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16).

– If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him. – (Matthew 7:11).

– And the Lord said…This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name. (Exodus 33:17).

– The mind of man plans his way but the Lord directs his steps – (Proverbs 16:9).

– The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the Lord. – (Proverbs 16:33).

– And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing – (Genesis 12:2).

Congratulations to you for completing Day 2 – Prayer to Remove Curses! It was important for you to do that step before you can receive the others that follow.

Today we are going to focus on Divine Health, Physical and Spiritual Fitness. When the Lord directs you in His plans for this year, it would be very

Prayer for physical health

difficult for you to carry it out if you are not healthy.  Healthy covers – Physically, Emotionally & Spiritually.

Skinny does not mean healthy, it just means skinny.  Can you run up a flight of steps without being out of breath to the point where you need to sit down before you go any further?  Unless you are elderly and your joints and legs can no longer do this, then there is a physical problem that needs to be addressed.  There are also some that may be seen as “on the heavy side” that can run up stairs quite easily and so your size, while it is important, is not necessarily an indication of your fitness level.  You need exercise to be fit. Prayer is a good way to start but we have to take responsibility for the things that we alone can do.

Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

“Strength” refers to your physical body in this verse.  This means that what you eat, what you do with your body and how you take care of your body is an act of worship to God. It is one of the ways you show God that you love Him.

Your “heart” is the center of who you are and your belief system and is sometimes interchanged in the bible with your mind.  In order to love God you will have to be in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

If you don’t have a personal relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ then you don’t have access to His divine health, physical & spiritual fitness. Get familiar with the Gospel of Jesus Christ before you finish reading this page.

Our “soul” is where our emotions live. This is the place where we heal our emotions and woundedness.

Job 7:11 “Therefore I will not keep silent; I will speak out in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.”

Psalm 31:7 “I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.”

Psalm 43:5 “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?”

Your woundedness is within your soul. You may know some who say  “Brokenness” and wear it as a badge in some churches, well this is good if you are talking about your spirit which is prideful being broken so that you are humbled before the Lord.  However, it should never mean that your soul is broken forever.  Jesus found you in one condition but you shouldn’t remain that way.  We should always be humble but we shouldn’t walk around with so much hurt and pain from the past that we fall apart at the slightest thing. Reading the word of God, praying and spending time meditating on scripture should heal all the wounds of – bitterness, envy, jealousy, hurt, pain, rejection and insecurity.

Psalm 103:1-5 Praise the LORD, my soul;all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Romans 12: 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The Word says that our minds should be renewed by the Word of God and this is how we will get to know what He has in store for us this year.  This is how you get your Prophetic Word – meditating upon the word of God and allowing it to renew your mind, healing your mind, soul and body.

It is critical that we are able to know and discern the difference between brokenness (being humble) and woundedness (afflictions in your soul from your past).

It will be very difficult for you to move forward in life if you filter every message/prophecy/instruction/direction from others through your woundedness.  If you do that you will be offended at just about everything  that anyone can say to you because you use your pain as a filter. You will also receive every message incorrectly because you are not viewing or hearing anything as a “whole” person.  Read what the following scriptures have to say about being made whole.

Proverbs 17:22 (KJV) A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.

Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Matthew 12:13 Then saith He to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth;and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Matthew 14:36  And besought Him that they might only touch the hem of His garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

Matthew 15:28  Then Jesus answered and said unto her,O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Matthew 15:31  Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

JESUS CHRIST is in the business of healing people and making them whole and not breaking them.

You come to Him with your brokenness and woundedness and He makes you whole.  Your wholeness is not for you to be prideful and boastful but for you to reach others for His glory and to build His Kingdom.  How can you reach others if you are a mess – unhealthy, poverty stricken, bitter, jealous, always unhappy and never smiling…how is this going to reach people for Christ? You were made in His image therefore you are moving from glory to glory and should continue to always move into a direction of wholeness.

It is time for you to be made whole in Christ.

Today we want to pray for your complete healing – spiritually, physically & emotionally so that you will be able to receive the fullness of your blessing for 2013.  You can pray all or some of these prayers depending on where you need to be healed.

The first prayer is for Spiritual Healing:

“Lord Jesus, I want to become a follower of Yours. I come to You acknowledging that I am a sinner. I know that I cannot make myself acceptable to God through my own efforts. I believe You went to the cross to be judged in my place. I trust You to save me from the judgment I deserve. I trust You to give me a new life. I believe that you are the only one who can give me eternal life and true communion with God. Give me the free gift of Your Holy Spirit so that I may live a life that honors you. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your love. Give me the strength and wisdom I need to learn Your ways so that I might follow You as my Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen.”

The Second Prayer is for Emotional Healing:

Heavenly Father, I come to you today asking you to heal me in my mind, body and soul.  Remove all the emotional wounds that I received from my childhood, my parents, past relationships and friendships.  Take away the anger, hurt, pain, jealousy, envy, grudges, strife,  rejection, resentment, and bitterness.

Father, You are the One Who binds up and heals the broken-hearted. I receive Your anointing that breaks and destroys every yoke of bondage. I receive emotional healing by faith according to Your Word, Isaiah 53:5, “and with His stripes we are healed”. I thank You for giving me the grace to stand firm until the process is complete.

In the Name of Jesus, I choose to forgive those who have wronged me. I choose to live a life of forgiveness because You have forgiven me. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I get rid of` all resentments, bitterness, rage, anger, brawling, and slander, along with every form of malice. I desire to be kind and passionate to others, forgiving them, just as in Christ, You forgave me.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, I make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy, for I know that without holiness, no one will see You. I chose to see to it that I do not miss Your grace and that no roots of resentment or bitterness grow up within me to cause trouble. I will watch and pray that I will not enter into temptation or cause others to stumble.

Thank You, Heavenly Father, that You watch over Your Word to perform it and that whom the Son has set free is free indeed. I declare that I have overcome resentment and bitterness by the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the word of my testimony.

I pray that my mind be renewed by your word and healing would flow into my soul, that the past is the past and today I move forward in freedom to receive complete healing.  May I never filter your words through my pain, my all the prophetic revelations flow freely to me unhindered by my past.  I receive your emotional healing today, In Jesus Name. Amen.

The *third prayer is for Emotional, Mental & Physical healing that may have come upon you from evil spirits:

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the power of God’s Word, and the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, I bind all evil spirits of pride, judgment, rebellion, defiance, unforgiveness, envy, impatience, resentment, vanity, coveting, selfishness, idolatry, haughtiness, mockery, disobedience, arrogance, hypocrisy, denial, disbelief, guilt, shame, confusion, doubt, self-hatred, poor self-image, rejection, persecution, prejudice, possessiveness, anger, hatred, fear, timidity, passivity, control, unbelief, jealousy, division, disunity, distrust, deception, dishonesty, destruction, vengeance, hyperactivity, competitiveness, accusation, torment, procrastination, stubbornness, strife, criticism, manipulation, materialism, betrayal, gossip, greed, poverty, revenge, adultery, divorce, separation, hypochondria, infirmity, brain, eye, ear, nose, nerve, muscle, heart, lung, stomach, intestinal, liver, bone, cell, blood, body chemistry, hormonal disorders or dysfunction, all diseases, cancer, AIDS, Alzheimer’s, MS, fatigue, anorexia, bulimia, depression, oppression, suicide, schizophrenia, worry, anxiety, sleeplessness, ADD, nervousness, withdrawal, loneliness, isolation, ostracism, any negative spirits, and all addictive spirits of gluttony, perfection, alcoholism, workoholism, busyness, nicotine, spending, shopping, gambling, frenzy, drug abuse, self-abuse, sexual addictions, sexual perversions, seduction, pornography, masturbation, lust, fornication, incest, lesbianism, homophobia, pedophilia, homosexuality, bisexuality, sexual inadequacies, frigidity, impotency, fear of sex, hatred of men, hatred of women, sexual impurities, immorality, abortion, promiscuity, witchcraft, familiar spirits, murder, games, deaf, dumb, blind, mute, and sleeping spirits, new age spirits, cult spirits, seducing and enticing spirits, and any occult spirits of darkness, and death in all of us. I cast them into the lake of fire for complete destruction never to return to me.  I loose the love and grace that comes from Christ Jesus.  I loose the healing and wholeness that was imparted to me through Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.  May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in His sight my Rock and my Redeemer.  I pray right actions and attitudes towards others and newness in my soul, mind, body and spirit in Jesus Name. Amen

Here is another prayer for Physical Healing

Spend some time today meditating on the scriptures that were shared in this posting.  Ask the Lord what steps you need to take to ensure that you will no longer be enslaved to an unhealthy physical & emotional state.

Accept responsibility for the things that only you can do like – praying about your eating habits and exercise, cultivating healthy relationships and cutting off the ones that continue to enslave you in your past.  Do your part.

Tomorrow we will continue with Day 4 – Praying for Divine Provision and Finances.  These prayers are a part of the Prophetic Word series of prayers.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Yeshua, my Lord and Savior, I praise Your Holy name, for You are worthy. Oh so worthy of all the worship, honor, glory and love. Father, please cleanse my heart and renew my mind, as I pour out my soul unto You. Bless me with Spiritual Gifts, Lord, so I can use them to help Your people, if that be Your will.

1 Corinthians 12:8-10  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

Give me a discerning spirit, Oh Lord, bless me with the word of knowledge, allow me extraordinary faith for healing, and working miracles all for the glory of You. Give me the strength and wisdom to use them wisely. Lead me and guide me as I use these gifts appropriately.

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

2 Timothy 1:6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

Grant me love in my heart and peace in my soul as I spread Your word across the land.  In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, bless me with those spiritual gifts,  Amen and Amen.

This prayer was originally written by Pastor Ed at Salisbury Vineyard church and read out as a christian blessing over the dad’s present and as an acknowledgement of the important role of fatherhood in the lives of our children.

Fathers Day Prayer & Blessing

O God,
We thank you for these men
Men who have taken on the impossible task of following in Your footsteps
We thank you for their courage and strength

And our prayer is that as they learn what it means to be a father

That You would Father them, and apprentice them
We pray that you would teach them how to be good fathers
no matter how old or young their children are.

Give them hearts like your heart

That they may become known for
Compassion, tenderness, and mercy.
May they live lives full of love and grace.
May they not be afraid to discipline
And may they lead their families with great wisdom and gentleness

Anoint them to be warriors in Your kingdom

To wage war for their families in prayer
To be defenders and guardians of all that is true and good
Make them aware of the spiritual battle that You call them to engage in

Today, God our Father, we ask your blessing on all fathers

For new fathers, coming to terms with new responsibility;
For those who are trying to balance the demands of work, marriage and children;
For those who have to struggle to be a part of their child’s life;
For those who are unable to feed their children due to poverty;
For those whose children have physical, mental or emotional disabilities;
For those whose child has been placed for adoption;
For those whose love and support has offered healing;
For those that have adopted a child into their family;
For those who have lost a child;
For those who care for the children of others;
For those whose children have left home.

Bless all fathers, that they may be able to commit themselves selflessly

as mentor, protector and provider, shaping the direction
of their child’s character by giving love, care and guidance.

Bless all fathers, that they may lead their children to know and do what is good,

living not for themselves alone, but for God and for others.
Amen.

Blessings For Fathers

“Dear God, I give thanks for fathers.
I recognize the dedication and patience
it takes to be a source
of compassion and
understanding when helping
to shape a young life.
Bless all fathers,
especially those who are new
in this sacred role. I pray they feel
Your presence with them.
May they know that Your strength
and wisdom are within them,
providing all they need
to guide and support
their children with kindness and love.”

Father’s Day Prayer

Let us praise those fathers who have striven to balance the demands of work, marriage, and children with an honest awareness of both joy and sacrifice. Let us praise those fathers who, lacking a good model for a father, have worked to become a good father.

Let us praise those fathers who by their own account were not always there for their children, but who continue to offer those children, now grown, their love and support. Let us pray for those fathers who have been wounded by the neglect and hostility of their children.

Let us praise those fathers who, despite divorce, have remained in their children’s lives. Let us praise those fathers whose children are adopted, and whose love and support has offered healing.

Let us praise those fathers who, as stepfathers, freely choose the obligation of fatherhood and earned their step children’s love and respect. Let us praise those fathers who have lost a child to death, and continue to hold the child in their heart.

Let us praise those men who have no children, but cherish the next generation as if they were their own.

Let us praise those men who have “fathered” us in their role as mentors and guides.

Let us praise those men who are about to become fathers; may they openly delight in their children.

And let us praise those fathers who have died, but live on in our memory and whose love continues to nurture us.

~ Kirk Loadman

Fathers

We honour you in your God given duty
May you walk free from the lies of the world
That say a father is not important

For we say that you are important

You are to be a light in darkness
A living example of God Himself

We bless you to be strong and courageous

To wear the full armour of God
To resist the devil, and to stand
Stand firm for your wives and children
Stand firm for the body of Christ

We bless you to go out and do great deeds for the kingdom of God

To become oaks of righteousness
To rise to the fullness of Christ
And to run hard the race that has been marked for you

We claim this blessing for you

That you would be counted righteous in this life
That by the grace of God you would be blameless
And that in so doing your children would be blessed

What you do in life echoes in eternity.

O God bless these men
And may their echoes be loud and full and pleasing in Your sight
throughout all ages.

As I recall, there was barely a dry eye in the house and all of the dads stood as this was read and they were blessed.  They were then presented with gifts of chocolate as a tangible thank you for the wonderful job that they do!

What Makes a Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family in need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it … Dad

Christian Prayer for Fathers Day

Loving God,
We thank you for the gift of good dads,
and everything that they do for us.
Help them to have
patience when we’re difficult,
wisdom when we can’t see the way,
strength when we need comforting,
and love at all times,
so that, though them,
we get a little glimpse of how you feel about us,
our heavenly Father
Amen.

Father, it is Your Commandment that we should honor our fathers;
Hear the prayers we offer You for them.
Grant them many years on earth and keep them in health of mind and body.
Bless their word and all they do.
Give them back a hundred-fold whatever they have done for us.
Inspire them with Your love and help them to fulfill Your holy law.
One day, may we be their comfort and support,
So that having enjoyed their affection on earth
We may have the joy of being with them forever in Your home in Heaven.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
