PRAYER BEFORE AN EXAMINATION
Heavenly and most gracious Father, as I prepare for this exam, I bless Your Holy name. I give You praise, I give You thanks. I give You all the glory you deserve, for You alone are worthy to be praised.
Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, I surrender my all to you: my heart, my soul, my mind and my body.
El Elyon, The Most High God, take control, lead me to success. Ever-Present Abba Father, I request that you draw near today as I set out to recap the educational knowledge You have blessed me with.
Guide my thoughts as I recall my past lessons learnt through this semester.
Matthew 6:33-34 Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Focus and direction
Father, I pray that my teachers be blessed abundantly, for they aided me, preparing me for success in these exams.
Jehovah Jireh, open up my intellect, give me a mind of peace, allow me to focus and understand my curriculum. Be the directing hand that guides me to study the relevant topics; guide my pen as I recall.

Stepping out in faith
Omnipotent Lord, I will step out in faith, confident of excellence as the exam date approaches, for You never gave me a spirit of fear.
I am also confident that my hard work will definitely pay off because faith without works is dead and the just shall reap rewards.
I proclaim and declare victory, for life and death is at the power of the tongue. I will rejoice at the sound of my triumph as I exit the exam room on that glorious day. In Jesus’ Mighty name,Amen!!

30 PRAYER POINTS FOR EXAM SUCCESS
Please study the following scriptures before you start to pray the following prayer points: Proverbs 22:29, 6:6-9, 21:31, James 1:5; Psalm 45:7; Daniel 1:17-20; Psalm 119:97-100.
Also remember that if you are not studious and want to depend on prayer alone to achieve academic success, then you are not serious; at the same time, note that brilliant people must be prayerful to be successful. Psalm 127:1-2.
1. I receive the diligent spirit of a distinction candidate to read well in preparation for the forthcoming exam in Jesus name.
2. I receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit to focus well on areas relevant to the forthcoming exam in Jesus name.
3. I receive the strength of the Lord to be strong against every form of sickness before and during the exam in Jesus name.
4. Evil news that hinders concentration will not be my portion in Jesus name.
5. My staff of bread and financial supply will not fail before or during the exam period in Jesus name.
6. I pronounce every department of my brain under lock and key to open up in Jesus name.
7. I resist every temptation to cheat in the course of this examination in Jesus name.
8. Whenever my body is weak and my flesh demand pleasure the spirit of God will quicken my mortal body for action in Jesus name.
9. The spirit of carelessness and nervousness that may cause exam failure will not overpower me in Jesus name.
10. I will succeed in the forthcoming exam with unprecedented and unparallel result in Jesus name.
11. My confidence in God to excel in the forthcoming exam will not fail in Jesus name.
12. I will not be on the hospital bed while my colleagues are writing exams in Jesus name.
13. I will not be in the police cell while my colleagues are writing exams in Jesus name.
14. Evil and demonic sleep including satanic delay or distraction that makes people miss exam will not be my portion in Jesus name.
15. Fear, anxiety and evil emotion that can cause exam fever will not overpower me in Jesus name.
16. My brain will receive the touch of the Holy Spirit for easy assimilation in Jesus name.
17. The Holy Spirit will stand by my side as a senior partner in the exam hall in Jesus name.
18. The Holy Spirit will give me retentive memory and help me to recall all I have been taught and all I have read in Jesus name.
19. The anointing of favour will follow my answer scripts to the presence of my examiners in Jesus name.
20. My script, my name and my exam number will be policed by God’s guiding angels against wrong handling by exam officers in Jesus name.
21. I reject the evil testimony of missing script or missing grade in Jesus name.
22. The presence of God will radiate all over my examiner and my paper will not be assessed (marked) during his bad mood in Jesus name.
23. My name and exam number will not be confused with that of any candidate of failure in Jesus name.
24. The sitting arrangement in the exam hall will not favour anybody that is capable of implicating me in the exam hall in Jesus name.
25. In line with the promise of God, the Lord will give me the wisdom that surpasses that of the ancient; I will achieve what nobody has ever achieved in my family and department in Jesus name.
26. Such excellent spirit that made Daniel ten times better than his equals will also operate in my life in Jesus name.
27. Baptize me Lord with the spirit that love righteousness and exalt my horn above that of my contemporaries in Jesus name.
28. This exam that I am preparing for, I will not have a caurse to re-write the same in Jesus name.
29. When next I am to write another exam it will no more be at this level in Jesus name.
30. The result of this exam will be so outstanding and worthy of celebration and awards in Jesus name.
The same success that I pray for myself, I pray it for my colleagues in Jesus name.
