Prayer for Success in Business

Prayer should not be restricted to purely spiritual matters. God wants us to have all-round growth. If you are in business or starting a new venture, seeking God’s guidance is very much in order as it displays confidence in God.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him” (Jeremiah 17:7).

A short prayer for success in a new business venture can go along these lines:

Lord loving God, today I come to you asking for your blessings in my new venture with these resources you have blessed me with. Help me make wise decisions, take the right actions and do everything that brings you honor. Lord God, bless me so that I may become a blessing to others in the community. The truth is that the matter of success here in the world can be a complex and an emotionally charged issue. • God’s blessing – Acknowledges God as the source of all our blessing (Genesis 22:17).
• Expansion of territory – Here, Jabez is praying for prosperity, increase and victory in all he does.
• God’s hand – Jabez is asking for God’s guidance and strength.
• Finally, protection from harm.

Implications of Praying for Success

How you pray show a couple of things about your spiritual life. First, it shows how serious you are when it comes to realizing your goals in life. As a result, if you are not really serious, you will not pray much about them and vice versa. More importantly, it reveals how much you depend on God for everything. Finally, the more you learn to depend on Him, the more you are likely to take everything to Him in prayer.

Throughout scripture, it is evident that God really wants us to become successful in life. It is by growing and making use our trust and faith in Him that we get strengthened so as to fulfill His superior Will or intentions for our lives- the hallmark of true success.

Answered Success Prayer for Passing Exam from Hazen

On December 28, 2016 I sent a prayer petition for my NCLEX RN exam, which was scheduled on January 4, 2017. I had my prayer request. A few days ago, I found out that I passed my exam and I am officially a Registered Nurse! This truly is an answered prayer and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who prayed for me and with me. The power of your prayers and well wishes were so helpful because during my exam, I can’t explain why, but I was so calm and at peace. A few weeks ago it was a different story, I was anxious and just so full of doubt about passing. But with your help through prayers, I had renewed strength and every time I see that someone is praying for me, my confidence grows stronger. All the things that I asked for in my prayer petition came true and it was then, during my exam, that I was experiencing the power of God. I know Divine intervention is the reason why I was able to answer my exam questions and it was that same reason why I passed my exam. My nursing license is indeed a gift from God and I would use this gift righteously to extend help to those who need it. So thank you everyone for your prayers! Your prayers and God’s mercy and love made me a Registered Nurse. This really truly was a miraculous gift sent from up above. 

Prayer for Success in Selling a Home

Father, I know that You are interested in every single area of our lives, and we find that we need to sell our house. At this time, we are placing this need into Your hands, knowing that You have told us to cast ALL our cares upon You.

Lord, we thank You for providing us with this home we currently reside in, but You also know the need to sell our home at this point in time, and we want to place the entire selling process into Your hands, praying that You would be with us to guide during the entire sale.
