We’ve all been there. The moment where you cross your fingers and pray that the bills won’t bounce. Perhaps you’ve been faced with unemployment and you have no earthly idea how you’ll be able to make next month’s rent payment. Or maybe you’re working two jobs and still can’t seem to get ahead. Financial issues can be extremely stressful and effect so many different aspects of life – both physically and emotionally.

In order to gain better control over your finances, it may be wise to consult a financial advisor who has a better idea of how to manage funds and what type of options are accessible for your specific situation. While you may believe that you have it under control and perceive no other workable solutions, getting a second opinion on your financial situation can prove to make an extreme difference. Along with professional help, it’s important to maintain your sanity with spiritual assistance. You’ll discover a financial expert’s assistance coupled with prayer will provide you with the hope and motivation you will need to overcome just about anything.

The Bible provides Christians with a number of scriptures focused on money, finances and giving. Philippians 4:19 is one of my go-to scriptures to reference when I’m facing financial issues. The verse says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” It’s important, despite the frustrations tough finances brings forth, to know that the Lord is always by your side. He will never give you more than you can manage and will provide the necessities to live a prosperous life. First, place your faith in the Lord and he’ll do the rest.

“Dear Lord, help me to leave my financial worries in Your Hands. Guide me to peace so that I can hear your wisdom. Keep me mindful of my blessings no matter how much or little I may have. Grant me the patience and tolerance necessary to calm my spirit knowing that you have everything under control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Patience is a virtue that is required within so many elements of life – finances being one of those main elements. From time-to-time God’s children become so bogged down with the endless list of demands our life brings forward. The Lord understands your frustrations and sees firsthand how much work you’re putting in each day. Chin up friend – ask the Lord to grant you the necessary patience to get through this difficult financial period. While it may seem overwhelming, while you’re in the moment, remember that the Lord will always provide you with the resources you’ll need.

And then there are times when we feel need a financial miracle – car breaks down unexpectedly, death in the family, water heater explodes, or an illness. For those times a prayer that asks the Lord Jesus Christ for a miracle is exactly what is needed.

“O Lord, You placed the stars in the sky. You created a myriad of beautiful life. You gave us our breathe and water to drink.

You are a living Lord. You are my Savior, in whom I trust. Please rescue me from this financial crisis, Come redeem this situation. I ask for your almighty hand to come and cover me.

Give me wisdom and strength to stand strong through this storm. I ask for a miracle by your redeeming love. Please restore me, lead me to a safe place, a secure place, a place of financial balance. In you I trust. Amen.”

Jesus Christ, who is your Lord and Savior, understands better than anyone the spontaneity in life – and moreover, how those unexpected times can bring on financial burdens. If you’re going through a difficult time, ask the Lord for a miracle through prayer. A prayer for financial help from God can be a definite game changer and provide you with the resources that you need to get out of the hole. The world is filled with an insurmountable amount of solutions; however, identifying those answers can prove to be very challenging. Through prayer, ask the Lord to give you guidance coupled with the patience you’ll need to discover the financial solution you desperately need. In many cases, you’ll discover a solution that is seemingly been in front of you the entire time. In addition, this difficult financial time could also lead you to wisdom that you would have ordinarily been blind to.

Lastly, one of the strongest messages spiritual messages comes from Matthew. These words redefine the true meaning behind necessity and desire. Often times, we as human beings, become obsessed with the materialistic aspects of things. Sometimes objects appear to be a necessity however, in fact, these items are not a vital aspect of survival.

Provision Through Employment

God has a plan and a purpose for each of His children. He created each of us with special gifts and talents and God intends for our lives to have meaning. The heavenly Father knows where each of His children would thrive, enjoy their work, be useful for the building of His kingdom, and be able to grow not only spiritually but also professionally.

Jeremiah 29:11     For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Psalm 37:4     Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.

Psalm 139

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.

You comprehend my path and my lying down,

And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.

You have hedged me behind and before,

And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;

It is high, I cannot attain it.
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,”

Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You,

But the night shines as the day;
The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.

My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;
When I awake, I am still with You.

Search me, O God, and know my heart;

Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me,

And lead me in the way everlasting.

Romans 8:28     We are assured and know that all things work together and are for good to and for those who love God and are called according to design and purpose.

Ephesians 2:10     For we are God’s own handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us , that we should walk in them .

Provision Through Favor

Psalm 5:12     For You, Lord, bless the righteous one; You surround him with favor like a shield.

Job 22:28     You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light  shall shine upon your ways.

Even in unpleasant situations God is able to shine the light of His favor into the darkness of trials.

Genesis 39:21     But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy and loving-kindness and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison.

Exodus 11:3     The Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians.   And the man Moses was highly regarded in the land of Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and the people.

God is in the midst of situations that seem like grave adversity but He has a plan in all of it. Those who trust God no matter how dire the situation may seem end up seeing the purpose and the outcome is great favor for God’s beloved children.

Joshua 11
When Jabin king of Hazor heard of all this, he sent word to Jobab king of Madon; to the king of Shimron; to the king of Acshaph; to all the kings in the northern mountains; to the kings in the valley south of Kinnereth; to the kings in the western foothills and Naphoth Dor; to the Canaanites both east and west; to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, and Jebusites in the hill country; and to the Hivites below Hermon in the region of Mizpah.

They came out in full force, all their troops massed together—a huge army, in number like sand on an ocean beach—to say nothing of all the horses and chariots.   All these kings met and set up camp together at the Waters of Merom, ready to fight against Israel.

God said to Joshua:

“Don’t worry about them. This time tomorrow I’ll hand them over to Israel, all dead.  You’ll hamstring their horses. You’ll set fire to their chariots.”

Joshua, his entire army with him, took them by surprise, falling on them at the Waters of Merom.   God gave them to Israel, who struck and chased them all the way to Greater Sidon, to Misrephoth Maim, and then to the Valley of Mizpah on the east.   No survivors.   Joshua treated them following God’s instructions:   he hamstrung their horses; he burned up their chariots.

Then Joshua came back and took Hazor, killing its king. Early on Hazor had been head of all these kingdoms. They killed every person there, carrying out the holy curse—not a breath of life left anywhere. Then he burned down Hazor.

Joshua captured and massacred all the royal towns with their kings, the holy curse commanded by Moses the servant of God.  But Israel didn’t burn the cities that were built on mounds, except for Hazor—Joshua did burn down Hazor. The People of Israel plundered all the loot, including the cattle, from these towns for themselves. But they killed the people—total destruction. They left nothing human that breathed.

Just as God commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua did it. He didn’t leave incomplete one thing that God had commanded Moses.

Joshua took the whole country:   the mountains, the southern desert, all of Goshen, the foothills, the valley (the Arabah), and the Israel mountains with their foothills, from Mount Halak, which towers over the region of Seir, all the way to Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon in the shadows of Mount Hermon.   He captured their kings and then killed them.   Joshua fought against these kings for a long time.   Not one town made peace with the People of Israel, with the one exception of the Hivites who lived in Gibeon.   Israel fought and took all the rest.

It was God’s idea that they all would stubbornly fight the Israelites so he could put them under the holy curse without mercy.  That way he could destroy them just as God had commanded Moses.

Joshua came out at that time also to root out the Anakim from the hills, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, from the mountains of Judah, from the mountains of Israel. Joshua carried out the holy curse on them and their cities. No Anakim were left in the land of the People of Israel, except in Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod—there were a few left there.

Joshua took the whole region.   He did everything that God had told Moses.   Then he parceled it out as an inheritance to Israel according to their tribes.  And Israel had rest from war.

No matter where you are, what your situation is, regardless of how bleak and dire the circumstances, God is able.

Matthew 19:26     But Jesus looked at them and said, With men this is impossible, but all things are possible with God.

Luke 1:37     For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

Isaiah 55:11     So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth:   it shall not return to Me void , but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Provision Through Prosperity and Deliverance from Debt

Psalm 35:27     Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

Always remember that prosperity is from God and it is not yours, it is still His.   Everything belongs to God.  Everything.  It may have your name on it, but rest assured, it is God’s.   If you have anything it is because God allowed it.   God blesses the righteous but also the wicked.   You came into this world with nothing, remind yourself that you will leave with nothing.  Any blessing or goodness you have on this earth is from God. God gives good things to His children so that they being blessed can bless others.

Genesis 12:2   And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing .

Deuteronomy 8:17-18     You may say to yourself, ‘My power and my own ability have gained this wealth for me,’ but remember that the Lord your God gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant He swore to your fathers, as it is today.

Job 1:21     And he said:

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,and naked shall I return there.  The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Ecclesiastes 5:15     As came forth from his mother’s womb, so he will go again, naked as he came; and he will take away nothing for all his labor which he can carry in his hand.

1 Timothy 6:7     For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Deuteronomy 10:14     Behold, the heavens and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord your God, the earth also, with all that is in it and on it.

Psalm 24:1   The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the Lord;

Haggai 2:8     The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts.

James 1:17     Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

1 Chronicles 29:11-14     Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to You.   Yours, Lord, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.   Riches and honor come from You, and You are the ruler of everything.   Power and might are in Your hand, and it is in Your hand to make great and to give strength to all. Now therefore, our God, we give You thanks and praise Your glorious name.   But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?

For everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from Your own hand.

Matthew 5:42     Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.

Matthew 5:43-45     You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’   But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He  makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Luke 6:38     Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom.   For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

2 Corinthians 9:6-11     Remember this:   he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously will also reap generously and with blessings.   Let each one as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver .

And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient .

As it is written, He scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever!

And Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness .

Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous, and administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God.

God is looking for good stewards He can trust.

Luke 16:10     He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much, and he who is dishonest and unjust in a very little is dishonest and unjust also in much.

1 Corinthians 4:2   Moreover, it is required of stewards that a man should be found faithful .

Genesis 39
Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt.  And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there.   The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.   And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand.   So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him.   Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority.   So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field.   Thus he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate.

3 John 1:2   Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

Prosperity for the Righteous

Psalm 118

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!

Out of my distress I called upon the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me free and in a large place.

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
The Lord is on my side and takes my part,
He is among those who help me;

It is better to trust and take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

You pushed me violently, that I might fall, But the Lord helped me.
The Lord is my Strength and Song; and He has become my Salvation.

There are shouts of joy and victory in the tents of the righteous:

“The Lord’s right hand performs valiantly! The Lord’s right hand is raised. The Lord’s right hand performs valiantly!”

I shall not die but live, and shall declare the works
and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord.

The Lord has chastened me sorely,
but He has not given me over to death.

Open to me the gates of righteousness;
I will enter through them, and I will confess and praise the Lord.

This is the gate of the Lord; the righteous shall enter through it.

 I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You,
for You have heard and answered me;

and You have become my Salvation and Deliverer.

The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.
This is from the Lord and is His doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord;
we bless you from the house of the Lord
.
The Lord is God, Who has shown and given us light
.
Decorate the festival with leafy boughs and bind the sacrifices to be offered with thick cords to the horns of the altar.

You are my God, and I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You;

You are my God, I will extol You. O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.

Nehemiah 5:1-13
There was a widespread outcry from the people and their wives against their Jewish countrymen.

Some were saying, “We, our sons, and our daughters are numerous.  Let us get grain so that we can eat and live.”

Others were saying, “We are mortgaging our fields, vineyards, and homes to get grain during the famine.”

Still others were saying, “We have borrowed money to pay the king’s tax on our fields and vineyards. We and our children are just like our countrymen and their children, yet we are subjecting our sons and daughters to slavery. Some of our daughters are already enslaved, but we are powerless because our fields and vineyards belong to others.”

I became extremely angry when I heard their outcry and these complaints. After seriously considering the matter, I accused the nobles and officials, saying to them, “Each of you is charging his countrymen interest.”

So I called a large assembly against them and said, “We have done our best to buy back our Jewish countrymen who were sold to foreigners, but now you sell your own countrymen, and we have to buy them back.”   They remained silent and could not say a word.

Then I said, “What you are doing isn’t right.   Shouldn’t you walk in the fear of our God and not invite the reproach of our foreign enemies?   Even I, as well as my brothers and my servants, have been lending them money and grain.   Please, let us stop charging this interest.   Return their fields, vineyards, olive groves, and houses to them immediately, along with the percentage of the money, grain, new wine, and olive oil that you have been assessing them.”

They responded:   “We will return these things and require nothing more from them.  We will do as you say.”

So I summoned the priests and made everyone take an oath to do this. I also shook the folds of my robe and said,“May God likewise shake from his house and property everyone who doesn’t keep this promise. May he be shaken out and have nothing!”

The whole assembly said, “Amen,” and they praised the Lord. Then the people did as they had promised.

Romans 13:8   Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

Mark 11:22-24   Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God.   For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.  Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Malachi 3:10-12     Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.   And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine drop its fruit before the time in the field, says the Lord of hosts.   And all nations shall call you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts.

Isaiah 48:17   Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I AM the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way that you should go.

Philippians 4:19    And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:25-33    Jesus said,  “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on.   Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.   Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”

So why do you worry about clothing?   Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.   Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’   For after all these things the Gentiles seek.   For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.   But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

John 15:7     Jesus said,  “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

Psalm 23

The Lord is my Shepherd ,
I shall not lack.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

He refreshes and restores my life (my self);
He leads me in the paths of righteousness

for His name’s sake.

Yes, though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,

I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff , they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and through the length of my days the house of the Lord shall be my dwelling place.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14
If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.  And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.

Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field.

Blessed shall be the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your beasts, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock.

Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading trough.

Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out.

The Lord shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.

The Lord shall command the blessing upon you in your storehouse and in all that you undertake.  And He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God gives you.

The Lord will establish you as a people holy to Himself, as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.  And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.

And the Lord shall make you have a surplus of prosperity, through the fruit of your body, of your livestock, and of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.

The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.

And you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Ephesians 3:14-21     For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Galatians 6:9     And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.

Joel 2:25-26   And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten—the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you.   And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame.

Overcoming Fear and Worry

Philippians 4:6-8     Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.   And God’s peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Relying On God’s Protection

Isaiah 54:17   “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.

Psalm 91
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty .   I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I  trust!

For He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.   He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.

You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only a spectator shall you be as you witness the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, there shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.

For He will give His angels charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name .

He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.

Psalm 34:7   The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them.

Loving Father, you are our Creator, our Refuge, our Strength and our Great Provider.

You made us all that we are and you are the source of all that we possess.

I come before you trusting in your goodness and great love for me.

In response to your call, “Come to me all of you who are weary and I will give you rest,”

I come with expectant faith believing that you are a God who answers all prayers in a way that is best for each one of us,
especially what is good for our soul and in accordance with your will.

I now have deep financial problems, Lord, and I have no one to run to except you.

Forgive me for all my past failures and actions that may have led me to this crisis and help me learn from them.

Inspire me with ways and means to help ease my financial burdens.
Guide me in the proper management of my finances.

Deliver me from the tendency to want too many things,
especially those that are unnecessary.
Deliver me from envy when I see blessings of people around me.

Send to me generous hearts that can help alleviate my financial troubles and help me to be trustworthy, responsible and dependable in all my dealings with them.

Thank you for always being there to bring me love and hope in times of despair and frustration, courage in times of fear and doubt, and peace in times of anxiety.

With confidence in your love and mercy, give me the patience to humbly wait for your answers to my prayer for financial healing.

These I pray in Jesus’ name through Mary with all the angels and saints.

Amen.
