Prayer of redemption

Jesus you are the only One who can heal.

You are the only One who can mend the broken hearts.

You are the only One who can change the hearts of men, women and children.

We pray Jesus for your intervention in our city.

We need you to transform the hearts, minds and souls of those who trafficked

the most vulnerable in our society – children.

Those little ones who have abusive parents,

the orphans, the fatherless, those physically and psychologically abused,

and even those who are sold by their parents.

We pray not just for the restoration of the victims,

but also for the transformation of the perpetrators.

The heartless, lawless individuals who are willing to

rape, sell and exploit Your little ones for a profit.

We ask that You will change their hearts.

Replace their hearts of stone for hearts of flesh.

Take the lives of these perpetrators from the strongholds of the enemy’s influence,

so they can be freed from their sin, and sin no more.

Jesus, we beg you to help us.

We need your aid;

We need your strength.

Please come and rescue our children,

rescue our women and men.

Rain your grace and peace on our city, and our world!

Amen.

O Lord,

Jesus

Christ, Redeemer and Saviour, forgive my sins, just as You forgave Peter’s denial and those who crucified You. Count not my transgressions, but, rather, my tears of repentance. Remember not my iniquities, but, more especially, my sorrow for the offenses I have committed against You. I long to be true to Your Word, and pray that You

will

love me and come to make Your dwelling place within me. I promise to give You praise and

glory

in love and in service all the days of my life.

Attention Redemption Fellowship Family,

Jesus said, “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” – Matthew 18:19-20

On behalf of Pastor Causey, Ted and Martha Barnett invite everyone who can to join together Tuesday, February 26th, at 7 PM for an hour of corporate prayer.  We start at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall with a great time of Praise and Worship guided by the Word.  Then after a time of quiet confession and cleansing we give specific thanks for many answers to prayer and provisions from God.

This is followed by a time of interceding for others and each other.  All of the prayer time is relaxed and joyful conversational prayer, moving from one topic to another.  Come, if you can, come on time, and let’s unite around the Lord Jesus!

Dear Redemption Family

We invite as many as can come  to join together Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 7 p.m. for an hour of being together in the Lord’s presence!  We will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Corporate Prayer.

Please feel free to contact us with any special testimonies of answers to prayers and /or requests if you can not attend!

Corporate Prayer is a time for praying for your needs as well as for the needs of others.  There are many ways to love one’s neighbor, but prayer is one of the most powerful.  The Lord instructed us to pray not only for our own personal needs but to reach out and pray for others as well. Jesus promised: “If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:10). One of the most powerful ways we can pray is together with others.

During times of Corporate Prayer, prayers of intercession can be offered on behalf of your friends, family, co-workers, and so on  – for their needs, concerns, health problems, etc.

Redemption Fellowship’s Corporate Prayer takes place each Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Intercessory Prayer will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the church from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Everyone is asked to please come and join us in corporate prayer.  An agenda will be given so that we can pray on one accord.  In order for the vision of Redemption Fellowship to grow, it must be spirit-led.  This is achieved through united corporate prayer.

The word of God instructs us in Luke 18:1, “… that men ought always pray and not faint”.  Also, the Bible states in Philippians 4:6-7, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God; And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Please mark your calendars and plan to attend our next Redemption Fellowship Intercessory Meeting, which is scheduled to take place Sunday, March 31st from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church in the Redemption Fellowship Women’s Sunday School Room.  The intercessory prayer team would like for all who can attend to join them in prayer.  On this day, we will have 75 minutes of prayer in lieu of study.  All women are encouraged to attend.  We will begin prayer promptly at 9:30 a.m.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. – 1 Tim 2:1-2 (NIV)

… The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. – James 5:16 (NIV)
