Heavenly Father I come before You and seek your grace, comfort and love. I have lost faith, hope and trust in you. I am questioning your existence and your purpose in my life. I can not communicate my inner belief to you. My senses and deeper insight are not focusing on you. I am not moved by either your word as contained in the Bible or the creation which is around me. I find no pleasure in reading your word.
I do not enjoy hearing or participating in anything which is done to praise you or your name. Help me to discover you anew. Let me put this prayer in the name of Jesus, who you chose to wash our sins. I do not want to feel guilty for any sin or sins I may have committed. I seek to draw understanding and peace from your presence. I do not hear you call me. I request that you renew my faith and guide me to listen to your voice. I am now deaf to your voice. Help me this day> God Almighty I want to know you,

Do you know the power of the prayer of faith? Learn how to pray the prayer of faith in the succeeding article and experience God’s power working in your life.
Faith can move mountains. It is this propelling force that transcends time, space, matter, and reality. It takes faith to attain the insurmountable and achieve the impossible. Faith is what distinguishes the believers in the Lord Jesus from the unsaved.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. (Hebrews 11.1)
It takes faith to sit on a chair without looking to see if the chair is where you last saw it. You put your confidence on the chair that it can carry your weight and so you sit down. When you fall backwards and you ask your trusted friend to catch your fall, you exercise faith on your friend that he can keep watch and catch your body. It takes faith to go to an ATM machine and receive your cash from the bank. When you put your key in the ignition of your car you have faith that it will start. These are just practical ways on putting faith to action. So you see we all have faith in something.
How about the more critical and crucial things in life like terminal illness or court case or brink of divorce, suicide or bankruptcy or natural calamity? Is faith the answer to situations or conditions like these? Yes.
God is the author, finisher, and perfecter of faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
Undying faith in God can rescue you from the perils of sin, sickness, death, and hell. Having belief or faith in the true God of the Scriptures will definitely help solve your problems and bring life to your darkest world.
Hebrews 11 documents and records the Heroes’ Hall of Faith like Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, among others. The prayers of the faithful did not receive the fulfillment of the promises but they believed just the same and were divinely assured. Their prayers were answered even though they did not live to see them.
Faith moves the hands of God. It is the faith of a person that God first sees and He honors him setting him apart from the rest of creation.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 12:6)
Jesus Christ the Son of God when He came on earth 2,000 years ago discerns the faith of those seeking Him and the healing, deliverance, and salvation He freely offers. He notices great faith like that of the Roman centurion and the little faith of His disciples when being tested. Those who exercised faith in God through Jesus received what they asked for and even more.
From the Old to the New Testament up until our current day and age, God requires and demands faith in Him. Those who put their trust in Him and accepted the free gift of salvation when Jesus died on the Cross and paid the penalty of our sins are given the privilege to become children of God and joint-heirs with Christ in the heavenlies and the age to come. It takes faith in the Invisible God and the belief in the redemption to welcome us into the kingdom of God. Accepting this holy invitation needs a measure of faith. It is only by faith that we can receive salvation and redeem our great inheritance, spiritual blessings, and heavenly riches through Jesus.
We have now firmly established the significance and necessity of faith. When it comes to real situations, how do we apply faith and reap the benefits thereof?
We need to ask God to plant faith in our spirits through prayer, intimacy with Him, and meditating and hearing the word of God.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
Cultivate the discipline of meditating and declaring Scriptures upon your life. Through this habit, life is being imparted to our inner man as the word of God is life itself who is Jesus Himself. Faith is being deposited in our spirits through the Scriptures and it will unleash and express itself outwardly through our thoughts, words, and actions.
There is power in the spoken word. By word from the mouth of God, the world and man were created out of nothing. Whatever God says becomes law.
Death and life is in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21)
Whatever you declare and confess happens and becomes a physical reality so be careful with what you speak and release from your mouth.
When you have adopted the lifestyle of faith and apply faith in every situation, you become who God created you to be. If you have terminal illness or someone you know suffers from it, exercise faith. The just shall live by faith and the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Remember that without faith it is impossible to please God. What this means is that through your faith you are declaring to God and to the world that you believe in God and therefore your faithfulness in Him and His word works on your behalf so that your prayers are answered.
The prayer for faith is what we need at this time. Here is a prayer for you—
“Father God, I bless Your name and I thank You for manifesting Your presence right now. Build up faith in me so that I can withstand all the challenges facing me. By faith, I re-commit my life to You and accept Jesus’ gift of salvation affirming that I am Your precious child and that nothing can separate Your love from me. I ask You to bring salvation also to my loved ones, heal our sicknesses, provide for our needs, perform miracles, and shower us with Your faithfulness. I speak divine order upon our lives and peace and joy. I exercise faith in You alone knowing that You are in full control over all situations. Grow Your faith in my life over my finances and over relationships that are broken I pray the prayer of faith to heal these areas.
Thank You for listening to my prayer of faith now. I believe You for the impossible and I let You impact my life and all things surrounding me. I declare Hebrews 11 and all the promises You made for those who operate in faith expressed through love. I love You, God and thank You for loving me even more. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer of faith, God will honor your faith and do what You ask Him to per His perfect will for your life. God answers the prayers of the faithful

“As a child of God, you ought to expect God to answer your prayers. Do you ask God to do something without adjusting your life to what you are praying? If you are praying for revival, how are you preparing for its coming? If you are praying for forgiveness, are you still living with guilt? If you have asked God to provide for your needs, do you remain worried and anxious? Ask God to increase your faith, and then begin living a life that reflects absolute trust in Him.” Henry Blackaby
Dear intercessors,
We all want God to answer our prayers. We believe in the power of prayer, but when it comes down to our own individual lives and our own problems, we often don’t have the faith to believe God will answer. The times we are living in are difficult. We are often trapped by our unbelief and fear, but God is preparing us for the end-time harvest. He wants to enlarge our territory. He wants to bless us with increase, because His nature is to care and bestow divine favor on us.
We are the ones who limit Him because of our lack of trust and our fear of stepping out in faith. The truth is that the things we do for God should be outside of our own ability and should be trusting in His supernatural ability. When we back away from dependence and trust in God, we are not living by faith. He wants us to trust and obey His Word. He wants us to be strong and courageous. We need to be willing to attempt things big enough that unless God’s steps in, we are sure to fail. This is the kind of trust and dependence He is looking for in our life. We need not be shaken. He can break through every obstacle. He is the God of the impossible!
A Prayer for Trusting God in Hard Times
Lord, I thank You that You are the God of the impossible. You can do anything. I want to trust in Your ability and not my own. Teach me to see difficulties in my life from Your perspective. Help me to focus on You and Your power. I want to be like Joshua and Caleb who believed in a good report and focused on You even in hard circumstances (Numbers 14:7-9). My responsibility is to carefully read, trust, and obey Your Word. Today I bring before You this difficulty in my life . Help me not to fear but to trust You in this situation. I declare my faith in Your ability to fulfill Your promises to me. You will fight for me and win the battles in my life. You are mighty, powerful, righteous and true.

I have nothing to fear with You on my side. I will be strong and courageous even in hard times. I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord my God will be with me wherever I go (Joshua 1:9). You will never leave me or forsake me (Joshua 1:5). I do not need to figure everything out. You already know the best plan for my life. I will not try any man-made method to do only what You can do. Show me Your supernatural power. Teach me how to walk by faith and pray breakthrough prayers. I choose to have faith in Your ability to break through every obstacle in my life. Just like Joshua, You will give me the land and every place where my feet step (Joshua 1:3). “Through you we push back our enemies; through your name we trample our foes. I do not trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever” (Psalm 44:5-8).
“Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay. You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand” (Psalm 16:5-11). In Jesus name, amen.“Faith does the impossible because it lets God undertake for us, and nothing is impossible for God. How great – without qualification or limitation – the power of faith is! If doubt can be banished from the heart and unbelief is made a stranger there, what we ask from God will surely come to pass. Prayer throws faith on God and God on the world. Only God can move mountains, but faith and prayer move God.”

For you faithful examples in the Bible. Prayer of faith is prayer we say with absolute confidence in God that He is not only can to answer but that he also wants to answer us, and hear what we ask of Him. Pray!
Prayer of faith examples
Heavenly Father, I thank you that you are the almighty God. Help me to trust you absolutely with my life. Help me by your Spirit to have faith in you even when what I see does not agree with your word.
I decree and declare today that no matter what happens around me, I will only stand on your word. God, I choose to believe you, I choose to trust you, and I choose to have faith in your word.
God, I decree and declare today that no matter what the doctors says, I choose to believe your word. I arise in faith today, above my challenges and circumstances in Jesus name.
Prayer faithful examples in the Bible – trust God
To have faith in prayers is to trust God absolutely and believe that what He promised in His word, He is able to do.
“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5:14-15).
To pray a prayer of faith, we must firstly know that what we ask of the Lord is provided in His word. If God says it, that settles it. The Bibles says: “And this is the confidence which we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us” (1 John 5:14). So our prayers must align with his promises. For example, if one prays to God for healing, healing is a promise in God’s word. He said “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree…” (1 Peter 2:24).
Secondly, we need to confess what we believe in His word when we prayer. The more we confess God’s word from our heart, the more our faith becomes strengthened to receive from God. In Matthew 17:20 the word “say” or “confess” used 3 times. The word “believe” or “faith” mentioned once.
It does not matter how little your faith is, all you need is just that little faith, as little as a mustard seed and God will take it from there. However, our faith can grow as we learn to receive God’s word and pray in the Holy Spirit (Jude 20).
Thirdly, we should know that a prayer of faith honours God. To doubt God when we pray is something that completely dishonours God. God does not take it likely when we doubt him. James 1:5-6 says: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all men generously and without reproaching, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind”.
A prayer of faith is absolutely crucial to our receiving from God as well as our growing in God. “…without faith it is impossible to please God…” (Hebrews 11:6).
When your faith says yes, God will not say no
Even a gentile woman once exercised faith in the Bible (Matthew 15:22-28), by simply believing that Jesus can heal her child. She honoured Jesus and He granted her request, how much more when a believer prays a prayer of faith.
Finally, how do I have faith? Faith comes by hearing them, and hearing the word of God. Romans 10:17 says: “So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ”.
God is not asking you for some gymnastics and theatrics when you pray. All He asks is just to believe Him from your heart that he is more than enough for you. Have faith in Him. What would you believe God for?
