by Mrs. Lenin ()
i have come to you with tears in my eyes and with a broken heart.
I am a working mother of a 7 yr old daughter Marsha and 6 months old son Santosh.
I always felt priviliged to be blessed by a girl and boy.
But now i realize that was my mistake. Both me and my husband are blessed with a quick mind and fast learning abilities. We can learn and understand things much faster than people around us. both have good academic qualifications and good job with blessing of jesus.
We always thought, since we are good at what we do–> our children will also grow up to be a person who is intelligent and smart.
but when i look at the behaviour and intelligence of my 7 yr old daughter marsha–> i realize this is wrong.
both me and my husband spend so much of time teaching her. but in the end, marsha is very careless, lazy and has a mind of her own. she does not like to study, write or do any homework. always grumbles when we ask her to do any studies, always interested in watching t.v or eating snacks.
she is so very careless that she can even write 2+2=3 one day and 2+2=5 one day. this is literally frustating both of us.
even simple concepts is not understood by her. we try our level best to use different methodS to teach her, spoke softly to her, scolded her or what not.. but still her behaviour does not change.
she totally does not remember what instructions we told her to follow.
but when we go out and hear from our friends how good their children are doing academically and getting fantastic marks in the school, me and my husband feel very ashamed.
we really do not know brother what to do wtih our daughter Marsha. it pains our heart very much to scold her or beat her. but she frustates us so much. today i literally cried after seing her do maths questions. so many mistakes..
brother, pls tell me why my daughter marsha is like that. i know you said all children are loved equally by jesus and jesus will take care of them.
but why my daughter Marsha is not blessed with grace of Jesus? why is she behaving so irresponsible? why she does not listen to our humble requests? why is she lazy, uninterested in studies? she even lies to us when we ask her if she studied or not. she is totally clumsy and does not bother what we teach her or when we try to improve her.
we are totally helpless to teach her.
i have really come to you with broken heart. like all parents, i want my daughter marsha to be hardworking and honest girl. i want her to be intelligent and study hard to get good marks in school. i want her to understand how much effort we put up with her. is this too much to expect from our daughter marsha?
pls brother, pray to jesus to bless my daughter marsha and open her mind. open her mind to the positiveness in life.. let her mind be able to grasp and remember every good instructions parents and teachers teach her. let her become hardworking and smart. let her be blessed with your grace and let this miracle happen. jesus pls hold my daughters hand and teach her how to study any subject being taught in school. let her have great interest in studies. pls remove any demon or evil influence on my daughter, remove all hinderance from her path. let success be the result of all her exams from now onwards.
let her grow smart and mature. pls give her grace and understanding to realize our hearts ambision and let her fulfill them too.
god at the same time, heal mine and my husbands broken heart and give us courage. after working very hard the whole day, when we come back home and see our daughter literally struggle with simple maths or english questions, our heart breaks down.
brother, pls request jesus to accept my daughter marsha as his own daughter and guide her into good meaningful path in life.
let her emerge as an intelligent, smart, confident, hardworking and honest girl. with ur and jesus’s blessing all miracles are happened and will be possible.
let ur blessing and grace transform my daughter marsha into a obedient and intelligent.
let all the other parents see my daughter marsha’s behaviour and academic results and be amazed saying she must be a miracle child.
only with your blessing this is possible. jesus so bless and cleanse my daughter marsha’s body, mind and soul. let her flow and filled up with your divine wisdom and knowledge.
pls jesus, let my daughter be successful, content and happy in life.
a mother with broken heart,

Prayer for your Daughter’s Heart
Dear Lord, I know that Your Word does not return void and I’m believing great things for my daughter today:
1. Let her learn early in life that to obey You, God, is the best way to the life her heart truly desires (1 Samuel 15:22).
2. May she find comfort in Your ability, God, to reach her, hold her and rescue her (2 Samuel 22:17-18).
3. Let her find confidence in You, God, even when hard times come and she doesn’t know what to do, by keeping her eyes fixed on You (2 Chronicles 20:12).
4. May she keep herself under control and not give full vent to people and situations that anger her (Proverbs 29:11).
5. Let her walk in the security of Your assigned worth to her. Give her a strong work ethic and health to accomplish all her tasks. Give her a heart that desires to extend her hand to those in need. Protect her for the right husband, a man of respect and godly honor. And let her be a woman of joy and laughter whose Christ-centered character is what makes her most beautiful (Proverbs 31).
May we both grow in our relationship with You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer for a Struggling Daughter
Create in _________________ a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within her (Psalm 51:10). Though you have made ______________ see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore her life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring her up. You will increase ________________’s honor and comfort her once again (Psalm 71:20-21). Thank You that Your word says I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate ___________ from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
~ Cindi McMenamin
Prayer for Our Daughter’s Self-Worth and Purity
Dear Jesus, we weep with you over the number of our kids who are buying into the lie that sexual pleasure is something to experiment with. We pray that our daughters would treasure their sexuality as a true gift from You, and that they would honor that gift by saving it as a precious treasure to give their future spouse. We ask that you would help them to be strong in the face of their own desires and that they would choose purity in the face of temptation.
Lord we also ask that you’d protect our daughters from the idea that they must do anything and everything (including abusing their bodies through eating disorders, drug abuse, or other harmful behaviors) in order to attaining a “preferred” shape or figure. We pray you’d protect our sons from that kind of destructive thinking, and that if they’re tempted to take these kind of drastic measures, that you’d send someone in their lives to stop them. Help them to remember over and over that their identity is not in how they look on the outside but what you see as their potential and worth on the inside.
We pray that our daughters would treasure their health as a gift from God and that they would have a passion to eat nutritious food and to stay active in order to do their part to take care of this treasure. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer For Daughter to Find Identity in Christ
Dear Jesus, help my daughter know that we are all born as sinners and separated from God because of our wicked hearts. However, at an early age, help her grasp the life-transforming concept that he does not have to live as a sinner under that condemnation.
Teach my daughter that she has the opportunity to accept a new, beautiful identity that is called “good,” not because of what she has done or what she looks like, but because she is secure in who YOU say she is: treasured, delightful, known and protected. Let her not place her self-worth in accomplishments she may or may not achieve, but let her discover these deeper truths about who You believe she is and build every decision she makes on that sure foundation. In Jesus name, amen.
~ Alicia Michelle
A Prayer for Daughters Protection
Lord, I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my daughter. Keep evil far from her, and help her to trust You as her refuge and strength. I pray You will guard her mind from harmful instruction, and grant her discernment to recognize truth. I pray You will make her strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help her to find rest in Your shadow, as she lives in the spiritual shelter You provide for her. Let her know that the only safe place is in Jesus, and that her home on earth is only temporary. In Jesus name, amen.
~ Rebecca Barlow Jordan
Prayer for Daughter’s Spiritual Strength
I’m praying my daughter whose hands are limp and whose tongue is silent. Nudge her to pick up her sword. Help her conceive a strategic plan to take back what the enemy has plundered. Lead her to scriptures for every area of defeat. Give her a voice to speak them out loud. Let the enemy know that You are raising up a standard against him with a resurrected daughter. In Jesus name, Amen.

Fathers Day Prayer & Blessing
We thank you for these men
Men who have taken on the impossible task of following in Your footsteps
We thank you for their courage and strength
And our prayer is that as they learn what it means to be a father
That You would Father them, and apprentice them
We pray that you would teach them how to be good fathers
no matter how old or young their children are.
Give them hearts like your heart
That they may become known for
Compassion, tenderness, and mercy.
May they live lives full of love and grace.
May they not be afraid to discipline
And may they lead their families with great wisdom and gentleness
Anoint them to be warriors in Your kingdom
To wage war for their families in prayer
To be defenders and guardians of all that is true and good
Make them aware of the spiritual battle that You call them to engage in
Today, God our Father, we ask your blessing on all fathers
For new fathers, coming to terms with new responsibility;
For those who are trying to balance the demands of work, marriage and children;
For those who have to struggle to be a part of their child’s life;
For those who are unable to feed their children due to poverty;
For those whose children have physical, mental or emotional disabilities;
For those whose child has been placed for adoption;
For those whose love and support has offered healing;
For those that have adopted a child into their family;
For those who have lost a child;
For those who care for the children of others;
For those whose children have left home.
Bless all fathers, that they may be able to commit themselves selflessly
as mentor, protector and provider, shaping the direction
of their child’s character by giving love, care and guidance.
Bless all fathers, that they may lead their children to know and do what is good,
living not for themselves alone, but for God and for others.
Blessings For Fathers
“Dear God, I give thanks for fathers.
I recognize the dedication and patience
it takes to be a source
of compassion and
understanding when helping
to shape a young life.
Bless all fathers,
especially those who are new
in this sacred role. I pray they feel
Your presence with them.
May they know that Your strength
and wisdom are within them,
providing all they need
to guide and support
their children with kindness and love.”
Father’s Day Prayer
Let us praise those fathers who have striven to balance the demands of work, marriage, and children with an honest awareness of both joy and sacrifice. Let us praise those fathers who, lacking a good model for a father, have worked to become a good father.
Let us praise those fathers who by their own account were not always there for their children, but who continue to offer those children, now grown, their love and support. Let us pray for those fathers who have been wounded by the neglect and hostility of their children.
Let us praise those fathers who, despite divorce, have remained in their children’s lives. Let us praise those fathers whose children are adopted, and whose love and support has offered healing.
Let us praise those fathers who, as stepfathers, freely choose the obligation of fatherhood and earned their step children’s love and respect. Let us praise those fathers who have lost a child to death, and continue to hold the child in their heart.
Let us praise those men who have no children, but cherish the next generation as if they were their own.
Let us praise those men who have “fathered” us in their role as mentors and guides.
Let us praise those men who are about to become fathers; may they openly delight in their children.
And let us praise those fathers who have died, but live on in our memory and whose love continues to nurture us.
~ Kirk Loadman
We honour you in your God given duty
May you walk free from the lies of the world
That say a father is not important
For we say that you are important
You are to be a light in darkness
A living example of God Himself
We bless you to be strong and courageous
To wear the full armour of God
To resist the devil, and to stand
Stand firm for your wives and children
Stand firm for the body of Christ
We bless you to go out and do great deeds for the kingdom of God
To become oaks of righteousness
To rise to the fullness of Christ
And to run hard the race that has been marked for you
We claim this blessing for you
That you would be counted righteous in this life
That by the grace of God you would be blameless
And that in so doing your children would be blessed
What you do in life echoes in eternity.
O God bless these men
And may their echoes be loud and full and pleasing in Your sight
throughout all ages.
As I recall, there was barely a dry eye in the house and all of the dads stood as this was read and they were blessed. They were then presented with gifts of chocolate as a tangible thank you for the wonderful job that they do!
What Makes a Dad
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family in need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it … Dad
