Prayer for man of god

(1 Thes 5:17 NLT)  Never stop praying.

This morning we continue our series entitled, “Re-Energizing Your Prayer Life,” by continuing to look at “What to Pray For.”  What I have been teaching you to do is to pray Word-based prayers.  This is very important because we have learned that we must ask in faith, and faith is all about confidence.  If we doubt while we are praying, then the chances of that prayer coming to pass are slim.  John said, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us” (1 Jn 5:14).  We want to have the confidence that we are asking for something that aligns with God’s will.  Well, when you pray in accordance with God’s Word, then you know you are praying in accordance with His will.  I thank God for His divine favor on my life.  The Favor of God can do more in a minute than labor can do in a lifetime.  One moment Joseph was a prisoner, the next he was the Prime Minister.  That’s the type of thing that can happen when the favor of God is flowing in your life.  With that in mind, I have laid out for you a prayer for “Favor with God and Man.”  The scripture references are at the end of each portion of the prayer.  Pray it in faith and expect the Favor of God.

Prayer for Favor with God and Man:

Father, I come to you in the name of Your dear Son Jesus, my Savior, and the Apostle and High Priest over my profession.  What I profess today is Your Word concerning favor in and for my life (Heb 3:1).

Like Joseph, I prosper in every place and in every situation, because You Lord, are always with me.  Your presence brings with it Your power, protection, and peace.  I thank You for blessing me to experience preferential treatment everywhere I go.  You raise up people who use their power, their ability, and their influence to help me in ways I cannot help myself  (Gen 39:1-6, 21).

I choose to associate with those who are wise, blessed, and highly favored.  Wisdom is transferred by association and my association with these people promotes increase in every area of my life (Prov 13:20, Gen 30:27).

You Father, made Jesus to be sin for me, that I might be made the righteousness of God in Him.  As the righteousness of God, I declare that I am highly favored in Your sight (2 Cor 5:21, Psalm 5:12; Prov 14:9).

I operate in integrity and I seek to do good in Your sight daily.  As a result, I obtain Your favor and I experience Your best!  (Prov 11:27; 12:2).

I walk in Your Word daily.  Your Word is the ruler by which I judge every decision.  Your wisdom is the guide for my life.  By seeking Your wisdom and not my own, I receive Your favor in every area of my life (Prov 3:1-4; 8:33-35).

You favor is life and it endures for a lifetime (Psalm 30:5 AMP).  My enemies cannot triumph over me because of Your favor upon my life (Psalm 41:11).  You Father, surround and protect me with favor like a shield (Psalm 5:12).

I am ready for this day and I am confident that Your Favor will go ahead me and prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies (Psalm 23:5).  Favor can do more in a minute than labor can do in a lifetime, and I have confidence that Your favor is ON me.  I have great expectations for this day and for the rest of my life.  Thank You Father for releasing Your favor over me.  I receive it and walk in it daily.  I pray all these things in Jesus’ name, Amen.

QUESTION: What are some prayers for men?

ANSWER:

Prayer for Fathers Creator God, thank You for creating me to share in the conception of life, and share in the responsibility of raising my children. I ask that You would help me as I train up my children to know You and love You. As I look to You as my Father, may I give Your love to my children. God, give me the compassion and tenderness my children need. Give me courage and strength to live according to Your guidance and wisdom. Help me correct them when needed and encourage them always. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer for the Safety of Soldiers Almighty and eternal God, I pray for my brothers and sisters who are serving their country. Protect all who are serving our country in uniform as they complete their duties. Protect them with the shield of Your strength and keep them safe from all evil and harm. May the power of Your love enable them to return home in safety to those who love them. May they praise You for Your loving care. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayers for Leaders Father God, You are infinite and all-knowing. Please give me wisdom to be the leader You have called me to be — in my home and in business. There are many choices and sometimes I fall short. Give me guidance as I strive to be the leader You want me to be in my home, at my place of employment, and in the community in which I live. Help me to lead with integrity and be an example of You to others. I ask this through my Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Prayers for Husbands God, thank You for my wife. She is a gift from You. Help me to be quick to forgive, ready to encourage, and always available to her. Give me guidance as I seek to meet her needs and be her leader. Help me be faithful to her in my mind, thoughts, and heart. Keep us focused on You as we go through trials and times of conflict. Help us to work out conflict in a way that honors You. I commit my marriage to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

– We have all

sinned

and deserve God’s judgment.

God

, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him.

Jesus

, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He

died

for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was

buried

, and

rose from the dead

according to the

Bible

. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your

Savior

, declaring, “

Jesus is Lord

,” you will be saved from

judgment

and spend eternity with God in heaven.

A Prayer for God’s Favor

Scripture Reading:

Psalm 103, Psalm 112

Reflections of the Heart:

God’s favor can open doors that cannot be shut and usher in opportunities that otherwise would be inaccessible.  What areas in your life do you need God’s favor?  Take those needs to Him in prayer and expect His favor to surround you like a shield!

Scriptural Prayer:

Father, You are the Most High God, the only true and living God.  You are excellent in all of Your ways. You reign in heaven and on earth.  The heavens are Your throne and the earth is Your footstool. There is no searching Your understanding.  Lord, You are good and Your mercy endures forever.  You are the great I Am, the Everlasting Father, a Mighty God, the Prince of Peace and a Wonderful Counselor.  You are our creator, redeemer, savior, and sustainer.  We give thanks to You for You are faithful even when we have been faithless.  We thank You for Your word which gives us light and understanding.   We thank You for giving us all things that pertain to life and godliness and for giving us all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.  We exalt You, Lord God, and we bless Your Name.

Father, as a Church Family, we confess that we will stand on Your word and proclaim Your truth. We declare that Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path.  You are the potter and we are the clay.  We confess that we will surrender to Your will.  Lord, it is Your will that we live life abundantly.  Therefore by faith, we confess that we will walk by faith and not by sight as we trust in Your precious promises.  We declare that as we bind mercy and truth around our necks and write them on our hearts; we will have favor in Your sight and in the sight of man.  We believe that You will supply all of our needs, so that we will be all that You have called us to be.  We declare that while many may seek the rulers favor, we will seek Your favor.  Every man’s judgment comes from You and every good and perfect gift comes from above.  Lord, we trust and believe that no good thing will be withheld from us as we walk uprightly before You.

Holy Spirit, help me to see the opportunities that the Father has placed before me.  Record what He reveals to you:

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Father, please show us Your ways, teach us Your paths and lead us in truth.  Holy Spirit, please motivate and inspire us as we meditate in the Word day and night so that we can obtain true riches, honor and long life.  Teach us humility and the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom.  Lord, please give us favor in accordance with Your plan for our lives individually and corporately.   We ask for Your continual blessings in our homes, families, and workplaces.  Bless our going out and coming in.   Increase our finances and give us the ability to obtain wealth so that Your covenant is established.  Satisfy our hearts desires, as we delight in You and seek Your face.  Meet our emotional, spiritual, and physical needs and help us as a Church Family to flourish in the building of Your kingdom.  Protect us and raise up a standard against our enemies.  Lord, fill our hearts with Your joy and direct our steps.

Father, forgive us for our sins.  Forgive us for not studying Your Word to show ourselves approved.  Forgive us for not acknowledging You in all of our ways and for leaning to our own understanding.  Forgive those of us for not seeking Your guidance through prayer, and for being proud and self absorbed.  Forgive those of us for elevating our jobs, material possessions, people and relationships above You.  Forgive those for not seeking first Your kingdom and for not being faithful stewards over the resources with which You have given.  Create in all of us clean hearts and renew in us right spirits.  Lord, remind us of people we need to forgive and help us to forgive.

Lead us not into temptation; but, deliver us from the evil one.

Lord God Almighty, You are holy and righteous.  You are great and greatly to be praised.  You are worthy, Lord, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.  We extol You and bless Your Name forever.  Yours is the kingdom and the glory and the power forever.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

You guys all know that prayer is kind of my thing, right? But do you know why?

Prayer kept me connected when I wanted to run away. Praying God’s Word for my boys reminded me of His many promises and fueled my faith. I had just enough faith to believe He would be true to His word … so I prayed it back to Him over and over .

On my knees, God gave me peace.

On my knees, God gave me comfort.

On my knees, God corrected me … exposed my sin.

On my knees, God met my needs, healed my heart, and increased my belief in His goodness … and over the years, God has used my prayers to change the hearts of my boys. I believe it.

Prayer is the fuel of my motherhood, what puts me back together when I fall apart (
