Heavenly Father,
In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray for You to cover me with the Blood of Jesus for You are too Holy to look at the sin. Through the Blood of Jesus you see me clean. I confess and renounce all sins that I know about and remember and all sins that Holy Spirit has made me concious. I also ask you to forgive me the things I don’t know about. Deepening the knowledge of my heart I renew my mind with your Word.
„Have mercy upon me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions and I ask you to forgive me through the work of Jesus on the Cross who took my transgressions and iniquities upon Himself for I shall gain freedom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.“
„Create me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy Salvation; and uphold me with thy free Spirit.“
By the guidance of the Holy Spirit who indwells in me and by the Power of the Blood of Jesus: I forgive and break every ungodly soul-tide to my mother, father, grandparents and any other person who has ever dominated or controlled me or hurted me in any way which is contrary to the Will of God and God’s Word.
I also ask you to forgive me, if I have ever dominated or controlled some other person in the wrong way. I forgive all the persons who have ever hurted me as much as I want you to forgive me. In the forgiveness is my liberty from oppression. I forgive all the persons ( state them by name ) especially one who is hardest to say _______________. I forgive and have received forgiveness in Your sight. Through the Blood of Jesus that continiously cleanses me I am redeemed, sanctified, purified and justified.
Thank you Father for your Compassion and Forgiveness and the freedom I have in Christ Jesus by His Blood and the water of Your Word and Anointing of Your Holy Spirit I praise and worship You Father.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen

I pray for forgiveness and protection of my family. I found out that my sons father offered him drugs when he went to visit him. I called him and said terrible things, i yelled i screamed, then i called the police and filed a report.
I pray for God to forgive me for all of the crazy hateful things i said to him and his girlfriend. I know that was not the way to act and that is not the way i should have responded, but i lost it.
Please forgive me father, i beg you to forgive me and to forgive my children and my husband of our sins, please protect us, please place you angels of protection all around my family and protect us and guide us.

Prayer to God for Forgiveness of Sins
Even while I encourage you to pray this prayer, I caution you that saying words alone will not save you. Prayer doesn’t save. Only Christ can save. But prayer can be a means of reaching out to the Lord in true saving faith. If you pray these words in faith, Christ will save you. You can be sure of that.
Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen.
If you have prayed this prayer in sincere faith, you may want to put your initials by the prayer along with today’s date as a reminder that you have come to Christ in faith, trusting him as your Lord and Savior.

Prayer for Forgiving Others
Dear Merciful Lord,
Thank you for your gift of forgiveness. Your only Son loved me enough to come to earth and experience the worst pain imaginable so I could be forgiven. Your mercy flows to me in spite of my faults and failures. Your Word says to “clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” (Col. 3:14) Help me demonstrate unconditional love today, even to those who hurt me.
I understand that even though I feel scarred, my emotions don’t have to control my actions. Father, may Your sweet words saturate my mind and direct my thoughts. Help me release the hurt and begin to love as Jesus loves. I want to see my offender through my Savior’s eyes. If I can be forgiven, so can he. I understand there are no levels to your love. We are all your children, and your desire is that none of us should perish.
You teach us to “let the peace that comes from Christ rule in our hearts.” (Col. 3:15) When I forgive in words, allow your Holy Spirit to fill my heart with peace. I pray this peace that only comes from Jesus will rule in my heart, keeping out doubt and questions. And above all, I am thankful. Not just today, not just this week, but always. Thank you for the reminder, “Always be thankful.” (Col. 3:15) With gratitude I can draw closer to you and let go of unforgiveness. With gratitude I can see the person who caused my pain as a child of the Most High God. Loved and accepted. Help me find the compassion that comes with true forgiveness.
And when I see the person who hurt me, bring this prayer back to my remembrance, so I can take any ungodly thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ. (2 Cor. 10:5) And may the confidence of Christ in my heart guide me into the freedom of forgiveness. I praise you for the work you are doing in my life, teaching and perfecting my faith. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Short Prayer to Forgive Yourself
Father, today I ask forgiveness of all the negative and harmful words I have spoken about myself. I do not want to abuse myself in such a way again. A Prayer for Forgiveness
When You Need Forgiveness
Lord, you are a forgiving God. So I come today asking for your forgiveness. Father, my desire is to do your will, to be more like you, and to please you in every way.
Father I know that you hate sin, but I thank you that you love me unconditionally despite the wrong I may do.
I know that it is your desire that I be holy as you are holy. So Father I ask that you would wash me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
Forgive me for using my words as weapons instead of for encouragement. Forgive me for any thoughts that caused you shame.
Forgive me if I repaid evil for evil instead of doing good.
Search my heart oh God, and reveal to me anything that is not pleasing to you.
(Take a moment right here and listen to what God reveals to you. If God brings any sin to your mind include it in your prayer)
Thank you Father for forgiving me, for washing and cleansing me. Thank you for loving me even when I fall short of your glory.
Thank you Lord that you keep no record of my wrong. Thank you that I am a new creature through Christ Jesus.
I love you Father and I know that you love me. I will bless your name forever more, Amen.
A Prayer for Forgiveness
When You Need To Forgive
Lord, you said in your word that I must forgive If I want you to forgive me. So Father I ask you now to heal me of the hurt that I’m feeling. Help me to stop replaying the events over in my mind, and instead think on you.
Father, I realize that you know my pain and your desire is that I be restored.
So Father I give the pain over to you now, for you said I should cast all my cares upon you. Today I lay it down and vow not to pick it back up.
I thank you God that you will walk with me through this process of forgiving. I thank you that you will never leave nor forsake me.
Now Father, I pray for my offender(s) because you said we should pray for our enemies and those who spitefully use us.
I pray that you draw them into a closer relationship with you. I pray your protection upon them.
I pray that you would even prosper them in all that they set their hands to do.
Thank you Father for releasing me from the spirit of unforgiveness. Thank you for continuing to forgive me as I forgive others. Thank you that I hold no bitterness, malice, or resentment in my heart. Thank you that I am whole. In Jesus name, Amen.
Note: Forgiving is a process, especially when you have been deeply wounded. Pray this prayer daily if you need to forgive. Pray it until you stop replaying the event in your mind. Pray it until you no longer hurt.
