Heavenly Father,
I Come before you today to ask for
a financial blessing to improve my life.
My faith keeps me strong,
and I know you will provide for me
and the people I love.

I do not seek a large sum of money.
I do not trouble you for unneeded comforts
or luxury. I only ask for enough money
to relieve my financial woes and ease this stress.

Give me the means to do your work,

The Debt Prayer

Here is another blessing for money. This prayer is for help to come out of debt. Often times, either through poor financial planning, or unexpected unemployment, we can accumulate too much debt to deal with on our own. Use this prayer to ask for God’s help.

Lord, I confess I’ve made mistakes.

Lord God in heaven I come to you humbly asking you to bless me financially.  This is not hard for you to do because the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.  You are Jehovah Jireh the God who provides and I ask you to provide for me and my family and my friends.  We are in need of your help.

Lord I ask you to show me the areas in my life where I may not have been a good steward of Your money and I ask that you would bring conviction into my heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit.  Show me the areas where I need to improve how I handle your money so that I may honor You by using what You give me in a manner that pleases You.  I pray Lord that when I receive this financial blessings that you will send me in the next few days, I will tithe to the ministry that you will call to my mind the amount which You will put in my heart.  Lord I know that You are able to supply my needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.  I know that you are the God who gives me the ability to create wealth and I make a covenant with you today that when you send me this financial blessing I will praise you for it no matter how small it may be and I will continue to serve you with a grateful heart.

Lord I ask that you would cause me to have an undivided heart and mind towards you.  No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. I know that I cannot serve both You God and Money(Luke 16:13). Forgive me if I have misplaced my worship and my focus.  Bless me this day with the blessing that you gave our forefather Abraham.  Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! A mother and father were trying to talk their daughter out of going to a particular social gathering, which was going to place her in a situation that was bad for her. They tried to reason with her, but she is by nature a stubborn person and did not listen. Later in the day the mother made one Mother Theresa Emergency Novena to ask Our Lady to change her daughter’s mind. She also gave a donation to a charity on behalf of the Holy Souls in Purgatory and asked them to obtain this important favour. The daughter was determined to go to the party and even started dressing for it and putting on her makeup. When the parents saw that, they felt depressed. The mother thought that her prayers had not been answered.  The father asked the mother to go and talk to the daughter again.  The daughter informed her. “I am not going”.  She decided to go to the Saturday night Vigil Mass instead. It was amazing. The parents were so relieved.

(The Mother Teresa Emergency novena consists of saying nine  Memorares  in a row.) It is the novena which was made famous by Blessed Teresa of Calcutta who used it when praying for favours.

This is the Memorare prayer:

Remember O most loving Virgin Mary that never was it known in any age that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession was left unaided, inspired by this confidence, therefore I fly to thee O Virgin of Virgins my Mother, to you do I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful, do not O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise my prayers but in thy mercy graciously hear and answer them.  Amen.

A few suggestions

Life is full of situations that need help immediately, not in a week’s time.  If a mortgage is going to be foreclosed at lunchtime today, because you can’t pay it, a nine day novena or even an eight hour novena is not quiet the way to go!

Think of this emergency novena as being like an express train. It is 10.30 a.m. and  you have an appointment in the city at 11 a.m. so you catch the express train that speeds pass many stations, not the slow train that stops and picks up passengers at every station!  Imagine also that you leave at petition station and arrive at miracle station!  I like to see a picture of Mother Teresa on the outside of the train, with the words: The Mother Teresa Express novena on it. It helps to use your God given imagination when praying.

As a child of God, money and thus, financial release is one of your entitlements. The others (entitlements) being good health and unshakeable faith. Now, having prosperity in all these areas is a position/status in life that can be grabbed with these deep prayers.

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Despite what most people think, prosperity isn’t limited only to finances. Anybody and we mean you, your loved ones, and your friends can prosper financially, spiritually, and health-wise. And from our experiences, all three should acquired. If you walk with God (spiritual prosperity) and you prosper financially, lives will be touched by you. As a matter of fact, God encourages you to do this since it helps you turn more lives to God’s flock. With that said, if you also have financial release and your prosperity health-wise is ensured by God, by His will, you’ll live long while reaping the fruits of your labour.

“You shall walk in all the way which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess.” – Deuteronomy 5:33

Prosperity prayer for money

Father above, I pray to You in total subservience today about my life. Lord, I need Your divine help in granting me financial independence. I pray that you remove me from the clutches of incapability and that—You provide me with all the earnings that I’ll use to take care of both myself, my loved ones, and all of Your Beloved for the rest of my life. Father, I need You to fix my life so that I’ll not be caught wanting. Instead, I’ll fulfill my roles in all needed areas of my life. I thank You God for the opportunity to have this prayer and for the forthcoming blessings, I exalt Your name and In Jesus Name, Amen.

Oh Lord in Heaven, I come before You today for the sake of prosperity and protection. You’re the protector of Daniel and the benefactor of the Israelites. Father, bless me so that I may prosper in all the things I do in my life. I shall prosper financially, spiritually, and health-wise by Your will. Oh God, I pray You also protect me so that I will live a long and fruitful life In Jesus Name. Prosperity prayer in the bible

God has great plans for you! So, no matter what you’re going through right now, keep in mind that the Great Shepard never abandons any of His sheep.

Kneel before the Lord, pray to Him because He is your Father. Also, you shouldn’t be afraid to go past these powerful prayers above. So, have a deep talk with Him and wait for His sign. Surely, He will answer You because His Love is unconditional.

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9-11

When God is on your side, you’re never ever weak. In fact, all of your so-called weaknesses are always turned into positives when you walk and work with God.
