Dear Lord, I offer you this prayer, to help me with my current relationship situation. Please take away all the pain and hurt in my heart. Fill it with love, joy, patience, and understanding.

Bless me and my partner, so that we may never surrender to whatever challenges that come our way. Fill our hearts with love for each other, and may you make each one of us realize each other’s worth. Please touch the heart of my partner,fill it with much love for me.

Miscommunication in a Marriage

Dear Lord, you know what path I am on right now and that I am in agony. I am having a disharmony in my married life. You have instituted marriage since You found that it is not good for man to be alone.

I deeply believe that You have given me this person to love and to hold for the rest of my days. The Bible has taught me that a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Come and be with us, Lord, for only You can make two broken hearts understand each other. You are the King of Peace and I know You are able to change any sad situation in my life.

Father, I know it is Your will that we should lead a loving and peaceful life with one another. Hear me, dear god, to fill us both with more love and to understand each other better to bring unity to our relationship. Help me become more understand to my partner’s needs and feelings.

Grant me wisdom that I may know how to deal with this unlikely situation so I can build a house in Your glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, O Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Family Unity

Dear God, thank you for the gift of family that you have given me. You know my heart hurts because of the disharmony in my family. I have lost my peace and my health because of the messy situation in our home.

I have no one to turn to but You, Lord. You alone can understand the hearts of Your followers as You have created each and every one of us. Only You can bring together the hearts of Your men together. Help me forgive other family members, O Lord. Let my family not defile Your name by this disunity. Help us forgive one another of the mistakes we have done to each other and bring us back together in Your name, Father God.

Fill each one of us with your love and understand so we can fully exalt Your name in glory. I know that you will bring back the peace and unity that was once present in our home. I ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer is one of the most selfless things you can do for a person. It’s taking out time out of the day, your time, to put them first. It’s a way of being thankful for them and requesting blessings, wisdom, protection, etc. on their behalf. 

Many times, when we pray, we get wrapped up in our own needs. Sometimes prayer becomes like a laundry list, an “I need, gimme gimme gimme” before God. 

Taking a step back from that to pray for someone else is not only taking yourself out of the center of attention, but also giving that person to God. Their path, their relationship with you, it’s all His when you pray for them. 

Giving up control like that is a selfless act, and not many match it. It takes yourself out of the decision making process, out of the equation, no matter how desperately we want to be. It removes all power we think we have, though we have none to begin with, and willingly places it before God’ feet.

If you love a man, your boyfriend, fiance, husband, significant other, pray for him. It is the best gift that you can give, the best thoughts you can have and send his way, the most important way to be there for him.

If you love him, you can give him advice and help guide him when he needs it. However, pray for him as well and pray for wisdom. Your knowledge and tips will be imperfect, but God knows his whole situation and will grant him the wisdom necessary to navigate this life.

If you love him, you can encourage him and boost him up when he’s down. However, pray for him as well and pray for encouragement and hope. Your words to him may mean a lot, may be the most important words he ever hears, but without God’d power behind them they are still just words. God can grant peace, hope, and joy like no other.

If you love him, you can celebrate with him through the good times. However, pray for him and thank God for the accomplishments – because they come from Him. Praise God in your prayers and give glory to Him, for He is the one who has blessed your man with the good times.

If you love him, tell him and remind him that you love him all of the time. However, pray for him and pray for the love that you show to him. Pray for your relationship, that it would be blessed by God. Pray that you two have a love that reflects the love that God has for you.

Pray is not the only thing that you should do for your man, the love of your life. Support him, encourage him, laugh and cry with him, be his friend, love him like a partner. 

Regardless of the situation, include prayer. Pray to praise, pray to weep, pray to request, pray for whatever your reason may be. 

You love your man and want what’s best for him, and the One who only really knows what is best is God. Pray is one of the most loving acts, if not the most loving act, you will do for your boyfriend.

Love might just be the most powerful entity that affects both the emotional and mental states. In other words, love can alter the way we act and think about a particular individual/entity. A mother’s love for her child is always unparalleled and a man’s always so possessive of the attention his lady shows. We can even call that jealousy and from experience, the greater the love, the greater the jealousy. That said, God is an extremely jealous Father. He is also an all-encompassing family that offers so much more in our times of need. So, His love compels Him to be with us through thick and thin. And since we’re our Father’s children, we can’t help but emulate such characteristics. Still, attention must be paid to the fact that tempering the love of God with ours leads to an eternal bond between people. God, I stand before you today once more as one of Your beloved. And my presence here is because of my significant other (husband, wife, spouse). I plead that You strengthen the love between us so that it may last for eternity. Our bond will be unbreakable like the promise You made to Abraham. A Prayer for Men

Scripture Reading:

Exodus 15:2-18, II Kings 18:1-7

Reflections of the Heart:

God loves men and He wired them for success.  The enemy has been disrupting God’s preferred plans for our men through a strategy to steal, kill and destroy them.  Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams noted, “Life is not fair; we only get what we are willing to fight for!”  By praying for our men, boys and families we are positioned to “Fight to Win!”  God used a man to redeem humankind and He continues to empower men to lead and conquer.

Scriptural Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Your majestic Name fills the earth!  Your glory is higher than the heavens. May Your glorious Name be praised!  May it be exalted above all blessing and praise!  You are great and most worthy of praise!  No one can measure Your greatness.  Thank You, Father, for our men.  Lord, we thank You for equipping our men to take their rightful place in You.  Thank You for the men and boys who will join the body of Christ and glorify Your Name.  Thank You, God, for restoration, reconciliation and healing in our families and communities.  Thank You, for giving us everything we need to live a godly life.

Father, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in the lives of our men on earth as it is in heaven.  By faith, we call our men saved, sanctified, and filled with Your Spirit.  Your Word instructs that faithwithout works is dead and useless, so we confess that our men will work to develop and demonstrate their Christian faith, daily.  We declare that they will be priestly providers and protectors of their families.  We confess that as they submit to Your Word, they will be transformed into new people by changing the way they think.  Lord, we decree that their belief systems and behavior patterns will reflect Your righteousness in their personal and professional lives.  We declare that the light of Jesus will be reflected by their actions.  As they fellowshipwith one another; others will see their good works and praise You, our Father in heaven.  Lord, we confess that Your favorsurrounds them like a shield.  We confess that they will earn, save, spend and invest money in obedience to Your perfect plan for their lives and families. We declare that their finances are blessed and they are lenders, not borrowers.  Lord, because we realize that the food we put in our bodies can impact our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual capabilities, we declare that our men will practice healthy eating practices.  Above all, we confess that they are victorious in everything they do, because Your future for them is filled with hope, good and not evil.

Lord, we ask that You touch the hearts of our congregation to pray for the men and boys of this local assembly.  Holy Spirit, please empower us all to stand against society’s systems and structures that result in ten percent of all pre-school boys being suspended.  Holy Spirit, studies show that ninety percent of all “behavioral problems” in public schools are linked to boys.  Please touch the hearts of fathers (and mothers) to teach their children Your godly principles.

Father, forgive our men for sins of disobedience, selfishness, lying, pornography, fornication, adultery and for not accepting the responsibility for leadership within their families and the church.  Forgive our boys for rebellion, selfishness and for accepting the negative labels placed on them by the world.  Forgive our wives and mothers for being complacent. Lord, please help the men, women, boys and girls in our congregation to forgive past hurts caused by family members and loved ones.  Father, heal emotional wounds caused by these hurts.  Lord, remind all of us to forgive others and help us to forgive.

Lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, we praise Your Name.  Your Name is very great; Your glory towers over the earth and heaven. You are worthy, Lord, to receive glory, honor and power.  You created all things and they exist because You created what You pleased.  You are Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
