Heavenly Father,
I know that you are good and merciful,
But right now, things look dark to me.
I’m worried about money, and I come into your presence to ask for help.
I can’t seem to make ends meet.
I can’t even save a penny,
Just putting food on the table gets harder every day.
I worry about debt or getting into debt.
Won’t you help me Lord?
I believe in your Divine Providence.
Free my heart from fear,
Liberate me from the paralysis of worry.
Fight for me, dear Lord, against the evil forces that tell me there is no hope.
May your Spirit fight for me.
For your love fears nothing.
In you, all things are possible.
Let it be done your way heavenly Father.
Give me courage and strength to make it through these tough times.
If it be your will, send me help from above.
Let it be your miracle, the way you want it to be.
Allow my understanding to grow in this process.
Show me how to trust in you,
Take control of all my problems pertaining to money.
Let it sink deep down into my heart and soul,
The truth that you are the owner of all things,
And I am just an administrator.
All accounts go back to you,
For you are the Creator.
The price you paid, oh Jesus,
Shows me your economy.
You settled all my debts of sin and disgrace.
In this truth, let me find courage and strength.
Give us this day our daily bread, loving Father.
The Bread that is Christ.

The past few weeks I’ve been reminded in a bunch of ways of just how woefully inadequate I’ve been when it comes to praying to God in all things. As Christians I feel we constantly need to be in relationship with Christ, seeking guidance, asking for things we need and praising him for all the blessings he has given us. This includes praying about our financial life.
A couple of weeks ago at church our pastor talked about prayer in his message. He said that we need to approach God in prayer, and not just with generalities, but with specifics.
A lot of times we don’t see the need to be specific in our prayer because we figure that “God already knows what I need”. But God likes specifics. Look at the story of the blind man that was healed by Jesus in Luke 18:
He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord, I want to see,” he replied. Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.
The blind man asks Jesus to have mercy on him. While it may have been obvious that the blind man wanted his sight, Jesus asked him what he wanted – he wanted him to be specific in his prayer, and step out in faith and ask for what he needed. When he told Jesus what he wanted specifically, and had faith he would receive it, Jesus healed him.
In the same way, I think we need to step out in faith, and ask Jesus for what we need in our financial life – and be specific. Of course we need to make sure that what we are asking for fits within the will of God, but when it does, pray specifically about it.

Keep These Things In Mind
This is what I’ve been reminded of this week:
- We need to be in prayer “in everything”.
- We need to present our requests to God, and be specific.
- We need to be thankful for what he’s already given us.
- We need to praise him for who he is, and what he’s done for us.
Pray about your financial life and God will hear your prayer. Whether or not your request is granted is up to Him, but Philipians says that when you pray to him, no matter the outcome, he will give you a peace that transcends all understanding. To me that’s better than anything that money could buy.

O Beloved God, Salutations and Greetings!
I approach you as your child and your own creation.
With a pure heart I ask for your divine grace.
Please shower on me abundance of money from your infinite source on a regular basis.
Your ways are innumerable and methods beyond my comprehension. Hence it is best that I leave to you the timings and sources through which you send the money and riches.
Whatever you do I trust that it is for my highest good.
With full faith in you and your miraculous ways, I open my body, mind and soul to receiving your gift of financial wealth and riches.
I pledge to use the money for my good and good of others.

Second Prayer
Sometimes when our finite intelligence fails to provide us with a solution, we must ask God for a financial blessing to get us out of debt and / or provide for our families. You may need a prayer for money and help to bail you out of financial distress when you are having trouble making both ends meet. Have Faith, God will provide.

Heavenly Father,
I come before you now to ask for your financial blessing to improve my life. My faith in you is strong and I know you will provide for me and my family with all that and the money we need.
I also pray to you for money to relieve my financial woes, debt burdens and ease this stress.
Lord, please be with me and help me to make the right decisions throughout my life.
Through your divine guidance kindly show me the means to do your work, and spread your Love.
Given an opportunity to serve, I promise to help others in your Name.

Open your eyes with a big smile on your face. Say Thanks, Thanks and Thanks to the Universe and let Universe decide and do its work. Simply do not interfere. Just open yourself to receiving Money and Abundance from anywhere – expected or unexpected source.
