PRAYER SCHOOL

Awesomely Awesome God, thank you for bringing me to the ninth month of 2016, let the blessings come and overtake me and let my package be delivered completely. I desire today and throughout my life on earth to live for you. This is my pledge in Jesus name.

Lord, because I am a seed of Abraham, make my life completely whole and stagnation free and humiliation free. Let me see your tender mercies in all I do this month of September and this year. LORD, show your mighty hands and power in this country. Grant our leaders’ direction. We ask you grant us selfless leaders and not looters. What the country is going through shall not make your children the victims. Let us become the solution and not part of the corruption. Bless my family, my friends and home. Grant us Power to succeed in this life in all we do, we shall not lack any good thing in Jesus name

Lord, you made a promise that if I pay my tithes, You will take away sickness and calamity and poverty from me. I now declare, You are my healer and my deliverer. I will be still in the midst of life turbulent. No matter what the enemy will create around me, you will grant me supernatural commanding victory beginning this September.

Father, I declare my loyalty and commitment to you this day by PRAISE and I ask You to reign over my life. Lord, in this ninth month of the year 2016, I place all my cares and burdens upon you because You live, all fear is gone. I carry my burdens no more.

Lord, my everyday desire is to become intimate with you and to draw closer to you. Teach me how to have a relationship with you in the presence of the Holy Spirit to do business with you in the atmosphere of business as my Prince of Peace.

Father, let all the miracles Performed in the Anioma one million man crusade be permanent and let your name be glorified as we plan again. Through the spoken word continually heal the sick, release the Power to raise the dead. Release your Power for the economy and blessings of the community and the entire country in Jesus name

Father Bless Daddy Uma Ukpai with wisdom and increase his anointing. Bless the wife and the children. Bless DrCI and grant them the grace to complete the project/assignment/ministry you committed into their hands. Bless all the staff of the comfortzone and UUEA.

Father, the scripture declares that my deliverance rest upon my testimony and the blood of Jesus. I stand by the blood of Jesus to declare, that I am ready to confront whatever that confronts my future, my destiny, my health, my finances, my family in 2016. I shall be creative in speaking life into my life. I shall hold nothing back in my testimony; I shall see favour and increase.

When others will say there is a casting down, I shall say and see a lifting up. I shall use my gifts wisely, I shall dream godly dreams, and every demon sent to distract, block my vision or disorganize me, let the blood trouble them in Jesus name

Father, I stand to pray for my nation Nigeria (Pray for your nation) because when the righteous prosper, the city rejoices, and when wicked perish there are shouts of joy. May every wickedness of the wicked come to an end in this land, and may the waster be wasted. Oh Lord, that thou mayest come down and visit this nation once again and restore unto us the wasted years in Jesus name

Awesomely God, I declare I am blessed and fruitful. I must multiply. Greater is He that is in me than the devil that is causing the bareness and delay. In you Jesus Christ, I have abundance of life. Beginning today, whatever I was subject to is now subject to me. I shall experience spiritual stability, marital stability and financial stability, in Jesus name.

Lord, let anything that will stand between me my supplication, my devotion and my breakthrough today! Be destroyed! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Anything that can stand between me and my healings, my spiritual promotion and the physical manifestation, my blessings, anything whatsoever that can stand between me and my breakthrough today, Father destroy! Destroy! Anything! Whatever it may be! That can stand between me Lord and that great breakthrough that You have purposed for me for today, my Lord and my Saviour Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Destroy! Anything that can stand between me and my breakthrough Almighty God Destroy today! Anything whatsoever that can stand between me and my breakthrough today, Father destroy! Destroy! In Jesus’ mighty Name

Lord, restore to me everything the enemy had taken from me in the past years, restore my peace, my praise life, my dream, my motivation, my promised life of favour and distinction as I get connected to the mysteries of your kingdom through the help of the Holy Ghost as a servant in Jesus name

Marriage from godly perspective is good and opens door to enduring favour; Therefore, Father, I plead for God’s mercy over every wrong step I have taken in life, especially marriage, career, school. I ask you to cleanse me of self-guilt by the blood of Jesus and to redeem my lost joy. O God, by the redemptive power in the blood of Jesus, release uncommon marital favour upon my marriage and career this year, in Jesus’ mighty name

Father, I, in agreement with the Anointing of God of this ministry now decree because I am born of God, I am cleansed from all unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus. My whole life shall glorify Jesus and not satan. I shall no more see evil but enjoy the goodness of God on earth. I am born again, by the Spirit of God, working very active in me; I am above principalities and power. I am on top and not beneath. I am born to rule and control creations within my grace jurisdiction. I am not limited; I am not in restriction but flowing in enlargement and in abundance. I am a definite controller of all that God created that are placed around me. I am truly a living testimony of Divine Power. From this month of September, my life shall bear the testimony of divine power with daily result and reward, in Jesus’ name Amen

Weekly Partners Declaration: This week shall announce my creativity to the watching world.  I declare, I shall be escorted by goodness and mercy. Therefore, whoever shall bless me is blessed in Jesus name. Amen.

Declaration for September:  This is my month of fulfilment of Prophecies and the beginning of my unending laughter. All those who have mocked me in the past weeks, past month and past years shall see reasons from my testimony to laugh and rejoice with me. I am divinely empowered to defeat every Goliath and every giant on my way. I shall be celebrated every day in September in Jesus name Amen

Daily Wisdom Devotion: God Take Over My Battle

John 15:5, 1 Samuel 17:50, 2 Chronicles 20:17, Exodus 14:14, Matt 2:19, 1 Sam 17:50, Deuteronomy 1:30, Exodus 14:14, 2 Thess 3:1-4, Matt 2:20, 1 Corinthians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 10:14; 1 Timothy 6:11; 2 Timothy 2:22

Men and brethren, challenges teach us two things; something about God, and something about us. If we choose to believe that God will give us the victory, we will see ringside just how powerful God is. If, instead, we choose to trust in our own strength or intelligence, we will quickly see how inadequate we are. We need to truly believe John 15:5, which says that we can do nothing apart from him.  The reason we have so many tired, fatigued, and discouraged Christians is because we think, “It all depends on me.” “Allow me to deal with him” “Do you know who I am”. “I will show you”. People who fight their battles are people who don’t understand or have forgotten the God of battle. Therefore, if you are God’s child, your problems are his problem; Your battles are in His agenda. GOD is much better at fighting your battles and solving your problems than you will ever be. God wants to step into the midst of your battles and bring you to victory. Our job is to trust him to work it all out as we allow Him to take over our battle.

Friends, You can relax in faith, trusting that God is able to run things without your help. Our God is Awesomely Awesome. He wants to get the glory because He is the only one who deserves the glory. He is the God of the final hour, the last curtain, and the Commandant of impossibilities. He loves it when we stand with gaping mouths, recognizing what he did. According to Papa Benson Idahosa “What you need to succeed is already there, just lean on God. For your faith’s sake, God can disappoint the devil”

I learnt something great during my meditation, when David confronted Goliath; he did that not because he was feeling particularly giant-strong one day or because he ate one good energy food and drank one energy drink, but he remembered God was with him – the very same God who gave him strength when he stood eye to eye with a bear and the same God who showed up when a lion crossed his path. He understood that God was the one who would do the fighting and once that was established, he stepped out and his mouth became ready for confrontation. Hear me, the victory that was won was the result of a non-engagement strategy. If you study 1 Samuel 17:50 with divine revelation, you will discover the last line that says ‘but there was no sword in the hand of David’ the bible said David slew Goliath but there was no sword in his hands.

The man that carries the concentrated presence of God carries the Power of God for God is with him. And the scripture confirms by saying, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you” 2 Chronicles 20:17. Another scripture says “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace” Exodus 14:14. Therefore in the battles of life, you can win without fighting. Joseph was informed about the death of his tormentor; a war he did not start and he did not fight. “But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt” Matthew 2:19. Hear me, your enemy may have started a war against you, but I declare you shall be victorious.

Right where you are, time has come when you will learn that the battle is the Lords not by mouth but by action; the reason many Christians have bruises and wounds is that they fight too much. Every child of God must learn to win before fighting; so we don’t live in anxiety but live in strength. Stop digging your own grave when there’s so much to live for! Stop dwelling in the strength of your problems because whatever you give attention to becomes important. Sometimes, to retreat in the face of a strong enemy is not a sign of weakness but of strength. By resisting the temptation to respond to an aggressor, you buy yourself valuable time — time to recover, to think, to gain perspective. Sometimes you can accomplish most by doing nothing against your enemies. Deuteronomy 1:30, Exodus 14:14

Our devotion and trust must be totally dependent on God because no man can improve on Jesus; what Jesus is not ready to do, no man can make it happen. Our desire is that when you go to church it should be to thank God for what He has done than to be a daily miracle seeker because to be kept from evil is better than to be healed from sickness. Therefore, the bible says “Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means.” 2 Thessalonians 3:16. Whatever it will cost God by Himself, always and by all means you will have peace. If jumping was to give you joy and peace then frog must win the first prize but I heard Now that the Lord of peace himself shall give you peace always by all means. Let me say that having a permanent anxiety is a sign that God is not with you. When you are over anxious and you spend too much time in anxiousness, you are simply saying I am in church but I am not in Christ; you easily lose control without heaven creating and granting you alternatives.

Let us look at the man that panicked about the appearance of another great King and the end result is that God took him away in Matthew 2: 7-14. Men and brethren, when the wise men went to Herod’s house the star that was leading them vanished. When you leave where you were sent to Herod’s house your star will vanish. We are also told that the star reappeared when they came out of Herod’s house. Herod will not need their services if he also can see the star. I speak into the life of someone reading or listening to this devotion, whatever that is bent on destroying you does not know your place of coronation because your enemy cannot detect the day and season of your breakthrough. You will show up and be glorified before the appearance of your enemy.

In one of the devotions, I have said many people here are busy going to Herod’s house when you are looking for Jesus; don’t join the generation of people who add water to their sinking boat of life by seeking for direction from your enemy, from those who never appreciate or celebrate you. You must be separated from the Lots and manger to your Canaan land and land of victory. That you are born in a manger does not mean you will spend eternity there. Therefore, it doesn’t matter where you start but don’t end up there. Hear this, “And when they were come into the house ..” Matthew 2:11 Jesus was born in a manger but never live there.

Herod planned to destroy Baby Jesus when he has committed no offence. It shows that nobody is too holy for the devils attack. That you pay tithe and offering is not a guarantee of a life without the enemy’s attack. But God rebukes the devourer for your sake and giving is a protection from lack; it is not a deliverance from attack; and when you eat your seed you will have no harvest.

The Angel appeared to Brother Joseph and said flee. Brethren, when God say flee don’t speak in tongues or go into 30 days praying and fasting, because you could stand in the place where God will strike both your enemy and you. A brother said to me the Lord has called him to minister and deliver the women who are harlots, the first time he visited their house he ran out with Holy Ghost speed. In several places the Bible tells us the best way to resist temptation is to flee from it. 1 Corinthians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 10:14; 1 Timothy 6:11; 2 Timothy 2:22, 1 Thessalonians 5:22

God sent Joseph and his family to Egypt, to the land where he showed Pharaoh the arithmetic of His Power. Herod is like the new Pharaoh who holds the people captive and attempts to stand in God’s way. Jesus is the new Moses, who sets the people of God free. Herod the Great was a fearful, devious and evil ruler. The Jews resented him as an Arab sitting on David’s throne. His maniacal cunning was accompanied by great aspirations and he was known as a great builder. But he was ruthless and seemingly without a conscience. He brutally murdered his own children and killed many enemies. So when rumors of another pretender to the throne appeared, Herod did not hesitate to take out his competition – it didn’t matter that he might be going against God. Herod’s power was fear and God’s people were as much captive to their fears as they were to the actual power of Herod, really a puppet whom Rome had placed as governor of the conquered territory of Palestine. Like Pharaoh of old, Herod’s deviousness and cunning seemed to be an impossible roadblock to God’s plan and design. But like Pharaoh of old, God would not be so easily dismissed nor would His saving will and purpose be compromised – no matter who opposed Him. No land is too dangerous for God not to keep you. “But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.” Matthew 2:19-20.

Heaven commanded Joseph to go to Egypt so that their Herod can die while they were away. Don’t be at home to be charged for murder. The news of your Herod is about to be announce by Angelic communication to the glory of God and the shame of the devil. In the days of Esther, God fought for her and the children of Israel. Esther 9:1, on the thirteenth day in the twelfth month, the Lord gave the Jews freedom and victory over all their enemies, may the Lord in this season gives you complete victory and freedom over all your enemies, may He crown this year 2016 with loving kindness and favour for you all round, may the ending of this year be far better than the beginning for you. May this month a dn the coming months be packed full of glad tidings, joy and blessings for you in the name that is above every other name, in Jesus name Amen.

Concluding Prayer of God Take Over My BattleAwesomely Awesome God, I thank for such a day like this. Help me to see today as an opportunity to praise you and to be calm when the enemy attacks because I am confident you will fight my battles. I pray that my attitude will change as you take over my battle, I pray that my worry and stress will disappear, and that your peace overwhelms me! I pray that today I can gaze and fix my eyes on you, the author and perfecter of my faith! Lord, I do strive and try to figure things out, forgetting that life was meant to be lived in total dependence on you. Help me to still my body and my mind so that I can rest in your presence. Fight my battles and send me an Angelic message that my Herod has relocated in Jesus’ powerful name I pray, Amen.

What’s it like to give your life to God?

How do I know if I’m doing it right?

Is it even possible to do?

These are some of the questions that floated through my mind in the past two years.

Last week I stood up and gave my life to Christ. And while I’d love to jump right into that story, there’s a backstory.

It didn’t happen overnight, and yet it happened night after night. I didn’t wake up one day and know exactly what to do, but I did get a call to wake up and trust that God knows what to do.

This is my personal testimony.

Old Life: I, Me, Mine

It says in Luke 17:33, “If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it.”

I used to live this kind of life where God existed, Jesus set an excellent example, and the Holy Spirit looked like a dove. And I prayed when I needed help.

In complete denial, I lived a sinful life but didn’t see myself as a sinful person. I wasn’t out to hurt anyone, yet people got hurt.

It helped to go to church, but I didn’t always feel like going. When I did go, singing hymns felt uninspiring, so I’d stand there and wait for that part to end.

During prayer I’d ask God how to help me find the missing pieces, fill the empty void, handle the anxiety. I’m not sure I believed He could or would really do it.

I needed God but had no idea just how much I needed God.

In the meantime I lived in and for the world, believing lies, rationalizing greed and compromising values. I didn’t see the crooked path I walked along; I just saw what I wanted to see.

The safest road to hell is the gradual one– the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts.”
— C.S. Lewis

Four years passed. I wanted truth but sought comfort. There was a call for truth and purity in my life, but I didn’t know how to get there. The confusing twist kept me locked and bound, living by my own rules. I asked God to show me what I needed to see.

If We Ask to See, He Will Show Us the Problem

There’s always that one day when you think, Ok, this is bad.

So I had that day a number of times in those four years, but one day the struggle was at its worse and I realized there was no where left to turn. On that same day this huge box arrived at my door. It was a gift from my mom that had been on back-order for weeks–it was a large, standing mirror.

I took out the mirror and just looked at myself. How ironic. No, how scary.

There I was… me and my self-deception.

It was the most obvious wake-up call of my life. For a moment I hated the mirror, but then I realized it was time to face it: God is God, and I needed to hand over the reigns.

I prayed from deep in my heart for God to take over my life. In every way I can hear or see I recognized a voice that said, “I want purity for your life.” It made perfect sense in that moment, even though on a human level it made no sense.

I felt all the regret and pain funnel into some different feeling. It felt like holding a hand. And not knowing where it would lead, I fumbled and followed along in a rather awkward way.

Squeaking by, feeling pushed and pulled inside, cringing at rough landings and more mistakes… sometimes it felt like I wouldn’t survive the turbulence.

If the story up until now had been a record, this is the part where the record scratches and you hear that fuzzy sound. God had a new record for me, and it was far better than any record I could have chosen for myself. Here is part two of my testimony.

God Wants Us Back

We are chosen. We belong to God. He waits, and He calls. We ignore Him, but He waits and He calls.

We run as far as we can from Him. We attempt to hide from a God who sees all. We attempt to shut out the Father who knew us before we were even born. But since we are chosen, since we belong to Him, He waits and He calls.

“You can be sure of this: The LORD set apart the godly for himself. The LORD will answer when I call to him.” (Psalm 4:3)

Have you had a wake-up call? What did it look like for you?

LETTING GOD TAKE OVER YOUR LIFE

PSALM 23

INTRODUCTION

A. Has your faith ever seemed like this cartoon?

B. Faith is often difficult to find in the midst of life.

1. There is a rock ready to fall on you from one direction, and a cliff ready for you to fall off of on the other side.

2. Christian author and teacher, Dallas Willard, put it this way: “The Lord is my Shepherd” is written on many more tombstones than lives.

3. Life does sometimes bring great difficulty – right when you least expect it.

a. Consider my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Many of you have prayed for them with us when in one year, they found out their 16 year-old daughter was pregnant. Then their son, serving in the army in Iraq, stepped on a roadside bomb, almost lost his life, and spent over a year going through surgeries and therapy. Shortly after their son was injured, his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and endured surgery and chemotherapy. How do you make it through all of that?

b. Or consider what happened to Richard and Geneva Culp:

The hot sun in northern California added to the fatigue I felt, working as foreman of a large ranching operation. I owned my own farm—200 acres of almond trees. But years of bad weather and skimpy harvests forced me to take on additional work to provide for my family.

Still, my efforts didn’t seem to help reduce our debts. My wife, Geneva, and I took additional loans to cover our farming expenses. The trees had to be watered, sprayed, and fertilized, and the wages had to be paid. All that created more debt. I couldn’t get back on my feet.

I’d lost a farm previously, and starting over was difficult then. This made Geneva and I determined not to fail again. We spent many sleepless nights struggling to find a way to pay all of our expenses.

One day, Geneva brought me the bad news: “Oh, Richard, I’ve just been to the farm credit company. They’ve taken it all! We’re being forced to sell. They have a buyer; there’s no price negotiation. All they want is our signatures.”

Her voice trailed off into sobs. I put my arms around her and began to weep too. Everything that we had worked a lifetime to acquire was gone. I was 50 years old and had been in farming all my life. Where would we go? Since the farm credit company had taken our land and our two bank notes, the crop that year would go to the buyer. We had no money to start over. Two of our eight children were still at home. How would this crisis and relocation affect their lives?

In spite of the overwhelming loss and grief, I knew that God was in control of our situation. I remembered the Bible story of Joseph. Even as a slave and prisoner, that young man was part of God’s glorious plan. As for me, I knew that God must have something better for our future too.

Two weeks after the creditors took our farm, things got worse. I lost my job as a ranch foreman. Our family moved into a compact rental unit, and Geneva and I began working a series of minor jobs, including a stint at a fast food restaurant.

It was difficult to pay down the $100,000 debt that was left after all of our assets were seized—our land, equipment, home, and bank notes. There were many times that we didn’t have money for groceries and living expenses, but God provided for us through our family, friends, and church.

C. Psalm 23 has spoken to many people who have faced dire circumstances.

1. This is perhaps the most beloved of all the Psalms. It may be the most loved and best known chapter in the Bible.

a. A nineteenth century preacher and commentator, J. J. Stewart Perowne observed that “there is no psalm in which the absence of all doubts, misgiving, fear, and anxiety is so remarkable.”

b. Alexander Maclaren said that “the world could spare many a large book better that this sunny little psalm. It has dried many tears and supplied the mould into which many hearts have poured their peaceful faith.”

c. This Psalm was one of the first passages of scripture that I memorized. Millions of people have memorized it, even those who have learned very little other scripture. You can probably quote most if not all of it.

d. This Psalm has been used countless times to comfort people who are going through personal trial, suffering, illness, or dying. For some, the words of this psalm have been the last they have uttered in life.

2. This psalm stands on its opening line: “The Lord is my shepherd.” That line presents an amazing juxtaposition of ideas.

“This is what you shall do; Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body.”

— Walt Whitman

“Stop trying to protect, to rescue, to judge, to manage the lives around you … remember that the lives of others are not your business. They are their business. They are God’s business … even your own life is not your business. It also is God’s business. Leave it to God. It is an astonishing thought. It can become a life-transforming thought … unclench the fists of your spirit and take it easy … What deadens us most to God’s presence within us, I think, is the inner dialogue that we are continuously engaged in with ourselves, the endless chatter of human thought. I suspect that there is nothing more crucial to true spiritual comfort … than being able from time to time to stop that chatter …”

— Frederick Buechner

“Change is difficult, but necessary for salvation. Turn from your sins and acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Let Him take control of your life. He won’t let you down. He’s not you. He’s God.”

— Calvin W. Allison

“I’m still agnostic. But in the words of Elton Richards, I’m now a reverant agnostic. Which isn’t an oxymoron, I swear. I now believe that whether or not there’s a God, there is such a thing as sacredness. Life is sacred. The Sabbath can be a sacred day. Prayer can be a sacred ritual. There is something transcendent, beyond the everyday. It’s possible that humans created this sacredness ourselves, but that doesn’t take away from its power or importance.”

— A.J. Jacobs

“Silence.
What’s this what’s this oh my god can a men ever get lower can a man ever be less?
Weariness and gasping convulsive exhaustion. All life dead all life wasted and becoming nothing less than nothing only the germ of nothing. A kind of sickness that comes from shame. A weakness like dying weakness and faintness and a prayer. God give me rest take me away hide me let me die oh god how weary how much already dead how much gone and going oh god hide me and give me peace.”

— Dalton Trumbo

“Quit living as if the purpose of life is to arrive safely at death. Set God-sized goals. Pursue God-ordained passions. Go after a dream that is destined to fail without divine intervention. Keep asking questions. Keep making mistakes. Keep seeking God. Stop pointing out problems and become part of the solution. Stop repeating the past and start creating the future. Stop playing it safe and start taking risks. Expand your horizons. Accumulate experiences. Enjoy the journey. Find every excuse you can to celebrate everything you can. Live like today is the first day and last day of your life. Don’t let what’s wrong with you keep you from worshiping what’s right with God. Burn sinful bridges. Blaze new trails. Don’t let fear dictate your decisions. Take a flying leap of faith. Quit holding out. Quit holding back. Go all in with God. Go all out for God.”

— Mark Batterson

“The little box that was given to me was by no means unique. I’d heard of prayer boxes, and I knew what they were for.
… Any scrap of paper will do, anywhere, anytime of the day or night. The important part, in a world of fractured thoughts, hurried moments, and scattershot prayers, is to take the time to think through, to write down, to clarify in your own mind the things you’re asking for, the things you’re grateful for, the things your’re troubled about, the hopes you’ve been nurturing.
And then?
Put them in the box and …
Let. Them. Go.
That’s what trust is. It’s letting go of the worry. It’s the way of peace and also the way of God. such a hard road to travel for people like me, who are worriers. When I’m writing a story, I control the whole universe. In life … not so much. Actually, not at all. Things happen that I hadn’t anticipated and wouldn’t choose and can’t change. That’s the tough part.”

— Lisa Wingate

“Every moment God gives you is precious. Never take the life and moments He has given you for granted”

— Stormie Omartian

“9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10 This is real love-not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”

— Anonymous.

“No matter what other people may have told you that you are not, God delights in telling you in His Word who you are in Him-loved, valuable, precious, talented, gifted, capable, powerful, wise, and redeemed. I encourage you to take a moment and repeat those nine things out loud. Say, “I am loved, valuable, precious, talented, gifted, capable, powerful, wise, and redeemed.” He has a good plan for you! Get excited about your life. You are created in God’s image and you are amazing!”

— Joyce Meyer

“Christ is the bread of life (John 6:35). Whatever we take into us as food will be assimilated into our being. This is very meaningful and significant. God is life to us in the form of food. We need to receive Him by eating Him. Once God enters into us, He becomes the flow of life within us. For proper eating we need food and drink. John 6 covers the bread of life for our eating, and John 7 covers the living water for our drinking.”

— Witness Lee

“If your life is in disarray and you feel uncomfortable and unworthy to pray because you are not clean, don’t worry. He already knows about all of that. He is waiting for you to kneel in humility and take the first few steps. Pray for strength. Pray for others to be led to support you and guide you and lift you. Pray that the love of the Savior will pour into your heart. Pray that the miracle of the Atonement will bring forgiveness because you are willing to change. I know that those prayers will be answered, for God loves you. His Son gave his life for you. I know they will help you.”

— Richard G. Scott

“Make sure that when you touch the other person, all your five senses are working, because sex has a life of its own. The moment you begin, you’re no longer in control; it takes control of you. And whatever you bring to it, your fears, your desires, your sensibility will remain. That’s why people become impotent. When you have sex, take with you to bed only love and your senses, all five of them. Only then will you experience communion with God.”

— Paulo Coelho

“When we talk about sin, we need to understand what sin is. Sin is not God says ‘you can’t do this’ because He wants to take something away from you. He says: “If you do this, it will be death. If you do this, it will be life.” And then He says: “Please, choose life, so that you can live. I’ve made you, I know how you work. I’ve made this whole Earth, I know how it works. Please, choose life.”

— Lacey Mosley

“Faith in God – life can never take you by surprise again.”

— James Dobson

“I take 10 minutes. I focus on what I’m most grateful for. Then I do a little prayer for three minutes, a blessing within myself through God, and then out to my family and friends and all those I serve. Then my last three minutes are the three things I want to achieve most. At the end of 10 minutes, you are wired. Everything in your life gets filtered through that.”

— Tony Robbins
