I wrote this prayer while I was away on holiday, reflecting on the blessings of God, through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When time, and the pressures of life, seem to get in the way of leading a life of peace, calm and tranquility, reflecting on the fellowship of the Holy Spirit is all I can do. I pray you too are blessed by this prayer.

Guidance in making the best choices
Heavenly Father, I come before You, placing my deepest and heartfelt desires at Your feet. I have a decision to make. Lord, I want it to be in accordance with Your will and plans for my life.
Lord Jesus Christ, counselor of all who come for Your aid and seek Your guidance, help me that in all decisions. May my heart be not hardened to receive Your word. May my eyes not be blinded to see the truth and obedience to Your will.
I pray that the word of God and prayer be my decision-making tools and armor in all aspects of living.

Guidance and Strength to stand against all attacks
Lord, may Your presence fill my heart and mind so that I will always be guided by love. Thank you for your perfect guidance and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, by which I have confidence I will not fall.
I will be strong to stand against all attacks of evil, even in these times when the things of the world attempt to stand between my choices for a way of life pleasing in Your sight.

Decisions that bless others
Today, as I have a decision to make, help me make it with thoughts, not only to benefit myself, but to benefit all around me and to give You utmost Glory in all things.
May my sole focus be to live a life benefiting those who look to me in hope, who feel loved in the little things I do and in the blessings I share with others, in the simplest of my words and deeds.
Lord Jesus, I earnestly pray that I may never become proud and self-contented to think only of my own wants and desires.
Help me to open my heart and mind, to be a blessing to one who is in need. May I be a channel of Your peace and love to one who is in distress, and a light of hope for someone who is condemned.
Last, but not least, I pray for the spirit of wisdom and discernment to guide my thoughts as I make my decisions. AMEN!
