Here is a small daily prayer for a specific intention. It can be anything like finding a job, finding a suitable Life Partner, for finding a house and so on.
Jesus, my Lord and my God, I worship you and adore you. Lord you have said, “Your Father and Mother may abandon you, but I will never abandon you. “
I believe in you and so I surrender all fears, anxieties and worries into your hands. Lord, I believe in your eternal love. Cover me with your love and let me experience your grace. I pray for the following intention… (Mention your intention here). If you will Lord and if it will be for my goodness, I humbly pray that you may grant me my request. Amen
Gracious and loving God, you know our need for meaningful work. Send your Holy Spirit to guide those who are searching for employment. Help them to recognize the gifts and talents you have given them.
Deepen their desire to follow your will. Inspire them as they contact potential employers. Give them patience as they wait for responses. Shelter them from feelings of rejection. Protect them from discouragement. Give them courage to overcome fear.
Shower on them the graces they need to persevere. Let this time of searching become an opportunity to grow in faith, to cultivate the virtue of hope, and to experience your healing love. We ask this through Chirst our Lord. Amen
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, you wanted all who are weary to come to you for support. Lord, I am worn out by my inability to find wage-earning work. Day after day, my worry and fear grow as the rejections of my applications mount. I am able and willing to work but I cannot find a worthwhile job. Please help me to obtain one soon so that I can support myself and my family in a decent way.
However, if it is your will that I wait longer, enable me to worry less and to be able to take advantage of the time available to get closer to you. Let me realize that there are other ways to bring about your kingdom on earth besides salaried work. Help me to make use of them for the time being so that I may continue to grow as a person for your greater glory. Amen

Father God, You said in your word that you shall supply “ALL” of my needs through your riches and glory in Christ Jesus. You said that I should look to the hills from whence cometh my help. Lord you said that you will open the windows of heaven and poor me out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.
Father you said that you are my shepard and I shall not want, and that you would not leave my seed begging bread. Father you are not a man that you shall lie, and I beseech the oh Lord to hear my cry. To answer my prayer in my time of great need. I believe, therefore I shall receive my prayer request for a financial blessing and a new job and/or career. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray … Amen!

Oh, Sweet Jesus, I come to you in mercy as I am in agony of trying to find employment. I have been applying for several companies now and it always ends up going to another applicant.
You said that I should be specific in my prayer and I acknowledge your word. I am here, Lord, asking your mercy to please provide me with a good job that I need and is within your will.
I will do this for your greater Glory, Oh God. I am very sorry Lord for all my falls of dismay. If I have doubted your commands and wills for me. I know Lord, that I am blessed to have your salvation freely for me. And I will work for it through faith in everything that I do even as I fully garnered my employment.
Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12

Lord, you are a loving Father and generous to your children. You bless and inspire the world with your good work. Help me in my search for profitable work so that I may care for my own as well as you have cared for me. Thank you Lord, for your loving guidance today.

For those who have lost their job…
Lord, I am coming to you today with a heavy heart filled with regret over the past, and anxiety for the future. I am out of work, and my finances are in deep trouble. I have made many mistakes. Help me to forgive myself, and others, so that I may make amends with all concerned.
Grant me peace of mind, so I can fill my life with your goodness and grace. Guide me toward a good job where I may fulfill my needs as a better and wiser person. Thank you Lord, for listening to me and helping me today. Life is not always easy, but I will strive to remember that You are always there to help me As you are right in this moment. Thank you!
For everyone who is looking for a job right now, may God be with you. You are in my prayers. I pray that you find a job as soon as possible, and that you are able to live a happy and fruitful life.
