Good morning! I hope everyone slept well and is looking forward to an absolutely fantastic day today.
May the warmth of the sun touch your face today – May you hear the laughter of children at play May your heart be light and your thoughts be bright! Today we’ll be starting our postings on the Tarot. We’ll be discussing a card a day as we work through the Tarot deck. Interspersed with our discussions about the meaning of the individual cards, we’ll be posting articles about Tarot, it’s history and how its’ used.
As we can see The Fool is ready to step off into a new adventure. While none of us like being called a Fool, we all are at the beginning. Whether the beginning of a new project or a new phase in life, The Fool is there to show us we have much to learn as we go through our path. Notice how he looks straight ahead, as if gazing into the future. His hands are held before his face. Are they framing his vision of the future or is he holding them up to ward off what is to come? The Fool can bring as many questions as it does answers. The Fool challenges us to have faith and take that first step as he is doing (notice that his left foot is nearly knee high off the ground).
