Are you in a battle today, and it’s taking more than just a physical toll on you? Are you finding it difficult to find the words to tell the devil to be gone? Spiritual warfare is crippling, real, and troublesome, but Jesus has already won us the victory! Pray along with these words now and let the Lord break the chains of fear and bondage!
Jesus, sometimes I can almost sense the heaviness of pressure mounting and the ominous presence of darkness around me. I recognize my enemy is at work again. Whether he’s trying to discourage me to get sidetracked, to fall into temptation, to give up, or to take my eyes off you, he’s always hanging around.
I need your supernatural power, Lord, to stand strong and not surrender. Physical force won’t help, because you’ve said the weapons of our warfare are different from those in this world. As believers, ours are powerful and can demolish strongholds and lies. These supernatural weapons originate from you. By your precious name and blood, Jesus, I’m asking you to confuse Satan and cancel his attempts to shut me and my influence down. Help me not to become discouraged or to give in when heavy times of testing come.
When I’m tired and weak, you are strong, Lord, and you are my only source of help. I cannot fight without you. Teach me how to pray and to trust you to pull down those strongholds that keep me or others helpless. Guard me from isolation that leaves me exposed and vulnerable. I believe you destroyed the power of my enemy by your death and resurrection. But like a bad penny, my enemy keeps showing up, whispering lies, twisting truth, and attempting to inflate my selfish pride. He never gives up.
I am declaring the devil and his demons liars today, Lord. Through the power of your precious name and blood, I agree with your Word and the truth that you are in me and that you are greater than my enemy who wants to rule the world. You, your Word, and prayer, Lord, are my secret weapons. I belong to you, and that fills me with a powerful God-confidence. I want to constantly dress in the spiritual armor you give me. Help me use it to defend others from Satan’s fiery darts as well. No one and nothing can snatch me away from your hand.
Strengthen my faith, Lord. Forgive my sins, so that I may be clean in your righteousness. Make me brave, so I can stand and fight the spiritual battles in my life and in our world. Give me your wisdom and discernment so I won’t be caught off guard. Together, Lord, we’ll win, because in truth, you already have.
In Jesus’s powerful name before which every knee shall bow, Amen!

In the name of Jesus, I bind up the principalities, powers, rulers’ of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness & hosts in high places, & the prince of power of the air. In Jesus name, I bind up the strongman, the old man, every prince & stronghold, the spirit of antichrist, every evil spirit & plague, the spirit of confusion, illusion & delusion. In the name of Jesus, I bind up the spirit of strife & division, back biting & gossip, critical & judgmental spirits, spirits of resistance & hindrance, every spirit of retribution, revenge & retaliation, & the lying, seducing, deceiving spirit of deception. (I TIM. 4:1,2) In the name of Jesus, I bind up every root of fear, doubt, unbelief, discouragement & every deadly D from despair to depression, the spirit of pride, rebellion, disobedience, self, ego, independence, unforgiveness, bitterness, lust & the flesh.
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST REBUKE YOU YOU EVIL, UNCLEAN SPIRITS. (Jude 9, Zec. 3:2) I loose, in the name of Jesus Christ, deliverance, freedom & liberation, peace, joy, hope, gladness of heart, love, healing & wholeness, mercy & grace, blessings & favor, restoration of the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, a mighty harvest, & a boldness to witness for Christ. Amen and Amen!!
ALWAYS REMEMBER, God hears ALL our cries and prayers (Ps. 34:4,6,15,17. His thoughts about us number more than the sands of the sea (Ps. 139:17,18), He loves us with an everlasting love (Jer. 31:3 & John 3:16). His promises are Yes & Amen (II Cor. 1:20). We know that satan’s a liar but God has never lied nor broken a promise or covenant (Heb. 6:18, Num. 23:19, Titus 1:2). He is the God of the second chance to infinity. Nothing is too hard (Jer. 32:17, Gen. 18:14), nor impossible for Him (Luke 1:37). With man it is impossible, but with God, ALL things are possible (Matt. 19:26, Mark 10:27). He is faithful (Ps. 89, Heb. 10:23), His Word does not return void (Is. 55:11,12), He magnifies His Word above His name (Ps. 138:2) & His Word is settled in Heaven forever (Ps. 119:89). We need to trust Him & His Word, no matter what trials or tribulations we are facing, whatever mountain, valley, desert, storm or goliath that is in our life. TRUST HIM! Naham 1:7 tells us, “God is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble & He knows those who trust Him.” He tells us we have worth & value in His eyes (Jer. 29:11-13), He is our helper (Heb. 13:6) who has compassion, mercy & grace for each of us. Gods’ forgiveness is bigger than my sin. If I confess my sins, God is faithful & just to forgive me of my sins & cleanse me of ALL unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Once I confess & repent, God remembers them no more (Ps. 103:12). They are put in the sea of forgetfulness (Micah 7:19). They are under the BLOOD of JESUS, and we are set FREE, with no condemnation (Rom. 8:1), especially from ourselves. We must learn to forgive ourselves. Praise and Worship must be included in our prayers. We have the VICTORY!

PRAYER OF SALVATION & BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Your Son
Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sins. I believe He died, was buried, and on the third day rose again from the dead. I do repent of my sins and come to You for mercy and forgiveness. I renounce Satan and the kingdom of darkness. I break every family curse over my family and me. By faith in Your promise, I receive Jesus Christ personally as my Savior and confess Him as my Lord. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and give me eternal life and make me a child of God. Thank you, Lord, for accepting me and now, Lord Jesus, I am thirsty for more of You. I ask You, Lord Jesus, to baptize me in Your Holy Spirit . By faith I receive Your Holy Spirit now. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen. YAHUSHUA’S PROMISES TO YOU 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you PRAYER OF REPENTANCE |
Lord Jesus Christ, Yahushua, Son of the Father,
In all humility and with our love and holy fear, we bow down before You, our Savior. May our guardian angels bow before You and bring You the prayers of our heart day and night and may they protect us from all evils when we sleep and rest. Hear the prayers from our lips whether alone in our quiet places or among our Brethren; through tears of sorrow or songs of praise and joy.
Lord, may we never ask for more than what is good for our souls and for our salvation. You showed us the Father and taught us how to pray and live as children of God. You said we should seek, ask and knock when we’re in need. You said you would never leave us nor forsake us. Jesus, You alone made us worthy to enter into Heaven when our lives come to an end. We thank You and praise You for Your love, Your life, and the promises You made and kept.
You said You would go and prepare a place for us in Your kingdom.
In Your kingdom Lord, hear our prayers now. You see and hear Your poor banished children of Eve. Before You, our world is so dark.
We Your children, Your people, see and hear the evils of our modern world. Families and children faithful to You tremble in fear of Your coming justice. Lord, we know Your Holy Words and love them. We repent of all our sins and call out to You our God. As You took pity on Abraham, Moses, Noah, Ruth and Naomi, the children of Israel, and all Your beloved disciples, so too take pity on us in our trials and tribulations in our lives of this modern and depraved world we live in. You said You’d never leave us nor forsake us. But Your Holy Words warned us of sorrows, persecutions, and even wars. Lord, we are weeping for ourselves, our families, and our children. We weep and repent of our own sins that wound You once more. Send Your Holy Spirit upon us, so that we may live more simple lives and be ever faithful, brave, forgiving, and charitable children of God the Father. Help us to shake off the ways of the world and be only faithful to You.
When the world sees us, may they give all honor and praise to You. We are Your bride who await Your coming. May you find us worthy.
In Your name, Yahushua, we pray. Amen.

Trust in God’s plan for you. Praying for his abundance and blessings will help you recover from financial turmoil. Here is a look at some spiritual warfare prayers for finances to bring you comfort and support.
Prayer #1
Dear God, I surrender my financial affairs and concerns about money to your Divine care and love. I ask that you remove my worries, anxieties, and fears about money, and replace them with faith. I know and trust that my debts will be paid and money will flow into my life.
I have only to look to nature to see proof of the abundance you provide. I release all negative thoughts about money, and know that prosperity is my true state. I commit to being grateful for all that I now have in my life. I learn to manage my finances wisely, seeking help where needed.
And finally, I ask you to help me understand my purpose in life and to act on that purpose with courage and strength. I know that prosperity will come, in part, by doing work I love. Please help me use my skills and knowledge to be of service in the world.
Thank you, God. Amen.
Prayer #2
Heavenly Father, I have chosen Jesus as The LORD of my life and I seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, believing that the material things I need will be supplied. I choose for my character and moral disposition to be free from the love of money, greed, lust and craving for earthly possessions. I am satisfied with my present circumstances and with what I have, being confident because You have promised You will not in any way fail me, nor leave me without support. I am confident in Your faithfulness, that You will never leave me nor forsake me, nor leave me helpless.
I take comfort and am encouraged. I boldly say that The LORD is my helper and I will not be seized with alarm. I will not fear, dread or be terrified.
I believe, Father, that You wish above all things that I prosper and be in health even as my soul prospers. I will meditate in Your WORD day and night, not letting it depart from my mouth, keeping it in the midst of my heart, observing to do all that is written therein. I believe then I shall make my way prosperous and have good success. You have promised that as a doer of The WORD I will be blessed in all my deeds. I am assured that You will withhold no good thing from me as I walk uprightly. The uncompromising are never forsaken. I make it my ambition to live quietly and peacefully. I will mind my own affairs, working with my hands so that I may bear myself becomingly, correctly and honorably, and command the respect of the outside world, being self-supporting, dependent on no one and having need of nothing.
Knowing through Your WORD, Father, that You are The LORD my God who teaches me to profit and who leads me by the way I should go, I will put Your principles to work in my life regarding employment. I choose to apply myself to good deeds—to honest labor and honorable employment—so that I may be able to meet necessary demands whenever the occasion may require, and that I may not live an idle, uncultivated, unfruitful life, in Jesus’ Name.
I labor so that I may walk honestly toward those who are without. As I give, it is given to me again—good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. I do not sow sparingly and grudgingly, but rather, I sow generously, blessing others. Therefore, I can expect to reap generously and with blessings. Amen
Prayer #3
Trust God’s plan for you. Ask to be blessed with His abundance and direction with these prayers for finances.
Dear Lord, I surrender my financial worries to Your love and care. Guide me with Your wisdom and help me make the changes necessary to live within my means. Help me remember my needs are met according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer #4
Dear Lord, help me to leave my financial worries in Your Hands. Guide me to peace so that I can hear Your wisdom. Keep me mindful of my blessings no matter how much or little I may have. Grant me the patience and tolerance necessary to calm my spirit knowing that You have everything under control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer #5
God, help us straighten out our financial problems. We haven’t been good stewards of our money. Give us a new attitude and a new commitment to managing our finances wisely and responsibly. If our problems are beyond our repair, help us find a way, Your way, to meet our obligations. We place this need before You, knowing that You will guide us to a good solution. Amen.
Prayer #6
Dear Lord, help me to leave my financial worries in Your hands. Keep me mindful of my blessings no matter how much or little I may have. Grant me the patience and tolerance necessary to calm my spirit knowing that You have everything under control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer #7
Lord, I come to You with thanksgiving for all You have given us, and how You have blessed and sustained us for all this time. I lift up to You our finances and thank You for Your Word that promises You will supply all our needs (Philippians 4:19). I pray You would bless us with Your provision now. Open the storehouse of heaven and pour financial blessings upon us. Give us wisdom as to how to handle all finances, and keep us from making any foolish decisions. Bless our work with success.
Reveal to us how we can earn more and handle our finances more efficiently. Show us where we have spent unwisely and how we can cut back expenses. Show us if we are doing what You want us to do, or if You have other work for us. Open our eyes to see where we are not living Your way with regard to our finances. Convict us if we need to give more to You and to others. Teach us how to save, spend, invest, and better organize our money. I know that our true treasure is found in You. Forgive us for any times when we have not fully lived out that truth. We choose to seek You and Your kingdom first in our lives, trusting that You will provide all we need.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Prayer #8
Lord, you are the source of all my sustenance. I pray that you hear my prayer and guide me in your infinite wisdom. My spirit is full, but my wallet is empty! I need your help. My finances are in crisis, and are causing me great pain.
Please uplift my heart so that I may appreciate all that I do have so that I may also be blessed with more prosperity. Money issues bring me down, and I forget to thank You for all that I do have thanks to Your blessings. Please remind me of Your abundance, so that my money will Once again flow in to me, and sustain me as much as Your loving care.
Prayer #9
Dear God, my struggles with money are bringing me down. I am in dire need for myself and my family. I know that You have all answers, and You always hear me. Please shine your infinite light into my life, Bless me with abundance so that my family may thrive.
I thank You for all You have done for me to date And I pray You will always remind me when I forget That my spirit and soul always dwell in Your good graces. Thank You oh Lord, for blessing me with material comfort So that I am reminded of the bountiful fruits of Your deeds.

Quick Overview of Spiritual Warfare
There are many approaches to spiritual warfare which is why I like the above picture so much. You have the bad guy pacing around trying to intimidate his opponent; the good guy is at rest; and the young apprentice is anxiously watching. It’s so hard to find practical advice in the Christian community because of this diversity. I hope to lay out a quick backdrop and then give some practical prayers to help Christians feel powerful when it comes to spiritual warfare.
It is important to know how the enemy likes to operate. Their primary form of operation is in the shadows. They reign in darkness for that is their kingdom. If the enemy can get you to not see them, then they can execute their plan unhindered. They win the battle because we don’t show up.
Second, if they are exposed, the enemy will threaten you. They hope to produce fear and/or anger in you. The enemy knows that if they can get your focus on either of these two things, you will lose hope and lose sight of Jesus. If the enemy can find success in this area, Christians will either run from the battle or run into it without the covering of God’s presence.
How Jesus Engaged Spiritual Warfare
Now there are other resources that can give you a deeper study into the work of the enemy, but this should give us a good start. The question I hope you are now asking is, “how do we engage in spiritual warfare?” For this answer I want to look at Jesus’ example.
First of all, it is important to realize that Jesus did not diagnose every problem as something to exorcise. The woman at the well had five husbands and the man she was currently with was not her husband (John 4:1-26). There was a good chance this woman had some demon problems. However, Jesus never address her in that way. In fact, He only exposed her shame; He never even asked her to repent or confess anything.
The woman who had the issue with bleeding for twelve years probably also had an issue with demons. Not only did she have a long medical problem, but she also had let the doctors of her day ‘practice’ on her to try to get her well. In this instance, Jesus didn’t do anything except walk by (Luke 8:40-47).
A lot of the times in which Jesus did come into more direct spiritual warfare, it was because the demons were initiating with Him. They would start screaming, “we know who you are!” These examples are important because spiritual warfare is real, but most of the times you will win the battle without confronting them directly. We need to be aware when we are to directly engage and when we are just simply to make no room for the enemy to stay.
10 Prayers for Spiritual Warfare
With this overview of spiritual warfare in place, here are ten declarations/prayers that will position you for breakthrough:
- I will not let my awareness of the problem exceed my awareness of God. God is always greater, therefore, I will worship Him in the midst of the battle. As I stay connected to God, I will overcome the enemy.
- Jesus went to the cross to publicly humiliate the enemy (Colossians 2:13-15). I have no doubt that He would not now also come and remove the enemy that is before me.
- Jesus sent me out to drive out demons and advance His kingdom (Mark 3:14-15). He also commands me to love others (John 13:34-35). He will give me a plan of attack that removes the enemy and respects the person.
- Jesus has already won the battle. He laughs at the plans of the enemy (Psalm 2:4). If spiritual warfare is hard, I haven’t received God’s complete plan of attack.
- We overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21), therefore I will focus my attention on the goodness of God in response to the evil in front of me. It is this goodness that I will declare and make known.
- For though I live in the world, I do not wage war as the world does. The weapons I fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. I demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and I take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. – 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
- My struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). I will stand my ground with truth, righteousness, and peace, and I will defend the enemies attacks with my faith. I will advance against the enemy by speaking out the word of God applied to every situation (Ephesians 6:14-17).
- Holding firm to the truth will bring freedom (John 8:31-32). When the enemy speaks his lies to me or others, I will declare God’s goodness and my steadfast belief that He is for us (Romans 8:31).
- I have been given authority in Christ, therefore when confronting the enemy, they will recognize it and have to respond accordingly. I will first quiet the enemy, then determine whether the person who is effected wants to be free.
- No matter what power the enemy manifests, God is greater still. When I tell the enemy to leave, I can command them to come out without manifestation. The person does not need to be embarrassed or felt like a victim. The person is powerful and has control of him/herself.
I hope you find this list helpful to you as you approach spiritual warfare. Each time it will be different and you will need to have your faith and trust in God, but these prayers will refocus you on a battle plan for success. Even Jesus had demons not obey him at first (Luke 8:28-31). Don’t be discouraged. Hold your ground and trust breakthrough is coming.
