David testifies, The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof, he who has clean hands and a pure heart will ascend unto the hill of the Lord, and the Lord of Hosts is the King of Glory.

A Psalm of David.

1 The aearth is the bLord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

3 Who shall aascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his bholy place?

4 He that hath aclean bhands, and a cpure dheart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto evanity, nor fsworn gdeceitfully.

5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, aO Jacob. Selah.

7 aLift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall bcome in.

8 Who is this aKing of bglory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this aKing of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Psalm 24

Of David. A psalm.

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,

    the world, and all who live in it;2 for he founded it on the seas    and established it on the waters.

3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?

    Who may stand in his holy place?4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,    who does not trust in an idol    or swear by a false god.

5 They will receive blessing from the Lord

    and vindication from God their Savior.6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,    who seek your face, God of Jacob.

7 Lift up your heads, you gates;

    be lifted up, you ancient doors,    that the King of glory may come in.8 Who is this King of glory?    The Lord strong and mighty,    the Lord mighty in battle.9 Lift up your heads, you gates;    lift them up, you ancient doors,    that the King of glory may come in.10 Who is he, this King of glory?    The Lord Almighty—    he is the King of glory.
