The period a couple is trying to conceive can be very challenging; but then again, waiting for anything is never easy, especially when it is beyond one’s control.
The physical and emotional stress of failed treatments, or the agony of failed pregnancies can make one grow hopeless, weary and discouraged.
It’s OK to breakdown from time to time and let the emotions flow, we are only human; but please don’t lose hope. In this life we will constantly face challenges; but we must never be defeated.
As long as there is life, we have to keep pushing. We have to stay strong and keep being positive, it will all be worth it in the end.
Our God is the way, the truth, and the life, and his word cannot return to him unfulfilled. He has promised us that children are his heritage, and none shall be barren in the land.
We stand firmly on his promises and decree that as many as are believing him for the fruit of the womb, their mouths shall soon be filled with testimonies, Amen. He did it for Rachel, Sarah, Hannah, and Elizabeth of old, and is still doing it for many women of our time.

Here are some beautiful and inspirational bible verses to increase your faith and strength. Add them to your daily prayers for conception:
1. Hebrews 11:11-12
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.
2. Genesis 25:21
Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.

May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. Lately, I’ve been reading these Bible verses while we’re trying to conceive. Getting pregnant has been a long struggle for us and I’ve been relying heavily on scripture to get me through my toughest days. Some days it feels like we’re in this alone but we’ve been trying to train ourselves to turn to God during those times. No matter what you’re struggling with, there’s always an answer in the Bible (even if you’re just looking for a few Bible verses about getting pregnant to help give you hope).
I’ve been studying the Bible stories of Sarah, Hannah, and Rebekah. It’s been comforting to be reminded of their trials to motherhood and how they overcame through their faith in God. There is a kindred spirit in the layers of emotion these women felt as they prayed for their children. The story of Hannah as she prayed for Samuel reminds me to seek God in prayer. Rebekah and her twins is a comfort that God has a plan. I keep praying that God bless us with our own child in His right time.
I also picked up this book, Waiting for God to Fill the Cradle: One Month Devotional for Couples and it was a tremendous comfort to my husband and I. If you need to fill your heart with God’s love as you struggle and wait for your own child, I can’t recommend this book highly enough. It walks you through a lot of Bible verses about getting pregnant and prayers to pray over them.
As I mentioned last month, we’ve started using Astroglide TTC Trying To Conceive to help us on our road to parenthood. Bible Verses While You’re Trying to Conceive
I’m struggling through this long wait and turning to the Lord when I can. Right now, these are the Bible verses bringing me the most comfort while I’m praying for our sweet little baby to be conceived.
Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.
Psalm 127:3 – 5
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.
Romans 12:12
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD!

You instituted the family in the Garden of Eden. You ordered children; You commanded them when You said to Adam and Eve, “Be frutiful and multiply.” You said that the barren womb is never satisfied. Lord, the Word declars that I am wonderfully and fearfully made by You; therefore, I’m perfect and able to conceive and have children. You said that I/my wife would be a fruitiful vine by the side of our house and our children like olive plants around our table We are not ashamed but happy because our quiver is full of children (or arrows, as You call them).
Thank you, Father, that You designed and fashioned me/her, to have children, that in the Bible barreness was the excption, not the rule, not Your will, not normal, something against Your plan and purpose. And in Your goodness and faithfulness every barrren woman in the Bible who was goldly and believed Your Word became pregnant; You opened her womb and bless her, and she gave birth to a precious baby just as I/she will. You make the barren woman to keep house and to be a joyful mother of children.
You said, Father, that because You are our God and we are Your people and have a convenant with You that You will love us and bless us and multiply us and bless the fruit of my/her womb and that neither male nor female among Your people would be barren.Father, we are redeemed form the curse of the Law by Jesus, and being barren is under the curse of the Law; therefore, we will receive from Your grace and have children.
Father, no plague, no evil shall come nigh our dwelling. We are healed by the stripes of Jesus. Sickness of any kind is taken out of our midst. You said to ask anyting of You in Jesus’ name and it would be done; and that if two of us on eather agree as touching anything it would be done. So we pray and we agree with You and Your Word, Father, that we will conceve and bring forth a healthy, precious baby to Your glory and honor. We pray all this according to Your Word and will. You said, This is the confidence that we have in You, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us; and if You hear us, we know we have the petition we desire of You, We have it now. Thank, Father, in Jesus’ name.

Bodies, we speak to you in Jesus’ name; You will come in line and agreement with the Word of God. You will respond to His holy Word. You will function properly and perfectly, the way God inteded you to. Every part, every organ of our reproductive system conforms to the Word and plan of God as we come together in pure, martial love. Body, conceive! Be pregnant. Cooperate with God’s plan; perfect ovulation, release of perfect eggs from the ovaries, thorugh the fallopian tubes, penetrated and impregnated, fertilized by healthy sperm. Good solid attachment to uterine wall and nourished and protected for nine months (40 weeks) unharmed and unhindered. Grow to a perfect baby – spirit, soul, and body. Your Word says, Father, that none shall cast their young, nor be barren amount Your people and the number of our days You will fulfill. This pregnancy will be fulfilled. We decree it in Jesus’ name and receive God’s best; we won’t settle for anything less in Jesus’ holy name. Thank You, Lord, that it is so and done to Your honor and Glory. Amen.
