A Prayer of Declaration for Financial Blessings
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 113, II Corinthians 9
Reflections of the Heart:
As tithers, we have no need to worry about our finances. Our God will open the windows of heaven for us. He will pour out blessings so great; we will not have enough room to receive. Try it! Put Him to the test! Malachi 3:10
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we praise You with all of our hearts; we will tell of all the marvelous things You have done. Your reign is forever. You execute judgment from Your throne. You judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. Lord, You are a shelter for the oppressed and a refuge in times of trouble. We trust in You because we know Your Name; we know that You do not abandon those who search for You. Father, Your righteousness reaches to the highest heavens. You have done wonderful things! Who can compare with You? Thank You for being our provider. Thank You for giving us the power to be successful. Thank You, Father, for being our economic strong tower during these trying financial times.
Father, we declare that we are blessed as a Church Family because we fear You, and delight in obeying Your commands. We believe that Your plans for our finances are good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. As we are willing and obedient, according to Your Word, we expect to eat the good of the land. As a Church Family, we confess that we will not fear the economic forecasts because our trust is in You and because we know that You are for us. We confess that our confidence is in You and not in our jobs, our investments, our bank accounts or ourselves. Every good and perfect gift is from You, the Father of lights, so we say that we will walk by faith and not by sight. As a Church Family, we commit to seeking Your Kingdom above all things and living righteously and we know that You will give us everything we need. We release old mindsets, habits and behavior patterns that have created lack and poverty. We forbid thoughts of failure, defeat and mediocrity to inhabit our minds. We confess that wealth and riches are perpetually in our homes and our righteousness will endure forever. Proverbs 14:23 says that in all labor there is profit, therefore, as we work hard we command profit margins and surplus to increase. We declare that we will continue to give cheerfully to the Kingdom of God because we know that as we do this, You will generously provide for us and we will always have everything we need and have plenty left over to share with others. We commit to teaching our children Your Word about financial prosperity and we declare that they will be mighty on the earth. We decree that our children will become entrepreneurs, heads of corporations and leaders of nations. We command promotions and financial increase to manifest in the lives of every Church Family member, now! Additionally, we command all of the finances for the Kingdom Builders’ Center to come forth, now!
What are God’s promises for your finances? Write those scriptures down and confess them over your life:

Holy Spirit, rescue those who are drowning in financial debt and help us all to manage our finances better. As we receive increases in our finances, help us to remember that abundance comes from You. Please help us to not hoard Your blessings. Your Word says that when we help the poor, we are lending to You and You will repay our generosity. So please remind us to be generous. Holy Spirit, touch the hearts of our Church Family to give to the poor through the Promise of Giving. Help us all to look for opportunities to be a financial blessing to someone else. Father, please surround us with Your favor like a shield as we do business in our public and private lives and continue to open doors of opportunity. Teach us how to love people and use money, rather than loving money and using people.
Father, forgive us for all acts of sin, including idolatry, greed, stinginess, financial idolatry, self-centeredness, arrogance, pride, stubbornness and financial disobedience. Forgive us for expressing words of doubt and unbelief concerning Your promise of financial abundance. Forgive those of us who continue the downward spiral of financial mismanagement. Forgive us for failing to develop financial plans that include debt reduction, savings and investments. Forgive us for living beyond our means and misusing credit cards. Father, forgive those members who do not pay their tithes and help them to get on track and begin to tithe. Forgive me for (list the sins, say them out loud to the Lord). Lord, remind us of those we need to forgive, and help us to be quick to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to show you names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He shows you, say out loud, “I forgive name of person(s).”
Help us to not yield to temptation; but deliver us from the evil one.
Lord, You made the earth by Your power and preserve it by Your wisdom. With Your own understanding You stretched out the heavens. When You speak in the thunder, the heavens are filled with water. You cause the clouds to rise over the earth, You send the lightning with the rain and release the wind from Your storehouses. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I praise You, Oh Mighty King, I bless Your Holy Name. Thank You for providing all my needs, according to Your riches in Glory.
You never fail me, even in these difficult times, when finances are low and worry invades my mind.
Help me to be at PEACE, Father, confident in Your blessed assurance that You will supply all my needs, out of your rich abundance.
Psalm 35:27 27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. And let them say continually,“Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
Ecclesiastes 5:19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor – this is the gift of God.
Praying for relief from debt and financial burdens
Lord, I’ve made financial mistakes. My debts are out of control. But Lord, I know you can open a way where there seems to be no way.
I pray for a financial breakthrough in my life right now! Grow my finances and bestow on me wisdom to manage Your blessings righteously. Open my eyes today to job opportunities and profitable business ventures.
May I be good stewards of all that You provide. Help me to not depend on money but only on You, Jehovah Jireh, my Provider. Don’t allow money to destroy my relationships through tension and disagreements.
Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty,And your vats will overflow with new wine.
Psalm 118:25 Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.
Praying for financial wisdom
I pray that the greed of money would not entrap my heart but I will only hunger and thirst after You and Your righteousness. May I shrewdly use what You have provided for me.
Help me to remember that as I am blessed, I should bless others as well. Remind me to lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I declare my financial breakthrough is here!! Amen.
Psalm 1:3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season. Whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.
1 John 5:14-15 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
1 Chronicles 29:11-12 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty. For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.

Prayer for Finances
A number of people who have gone through Release the Power of Psalm 91, our free mini-course, have written me regarding financial problems:
“How to pray?”
I took the situation to the Lord, asking for advice. “How do you give a simple answer to something that could take a volume to explain in Scriptural terms?”
The Lord kindly returned a simple prayer.
In fact, it was so simple as to be almost embarrassing. (I’m quite wordy, if you haven’t noticed!)
Simple, but powerful! I began to get feedback from folks and gave glory to God for their breakthroughs. Breakthrough came rather quickly considering God is not on our timetable.
Details were somewhat similar:
• Payments that had been held up came through.
• Money denied was released and given over.
• Contested inheritance came through.
We’re talking large sums of money!
Two days ago a friend called me to report that all the financial stress they were in had been settled. The final word had just come from her accountant. She is getting an $8000 tax refund. She is incredulous. She was expecting to have to pay; and, she has never gotten a return before!
I hung up the phone, praising God, and decided I need to share this prayer more broadly. So here we go.
The prayer is based on Zechariah 4:6-7.
Zerubbabel has struggled to build the temple amid all many and means of problems. An angel comes with encouragement and wisdom:
This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
“Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit”
says the Lord of Hosts.
Who are you great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”
Basically, the message to Zerubbabel and to us is that some problems are beyond our ability to fix, no matter how powerful or talented we may be. Where our power fails, the task is completed by the Spirit of the Lord. He gets credit. We do not! So here is the prayer in all its simplicity:
Lord, this day I take authority over the thief regarding (the situation)
(John 10:10)
And, I shout “Grace, grace!” to this mountain. (Zechariah 4:6-7)
How to pray it:
• Pray it each day, taking authority over the thief for this day.
• Any time during the day when the situation comes to mind, pray the prayer again.
• Pray this instead of fretting.
Part of the power of this prayer:
• Recognizing and confessing that the problem is too big for you, but manageable by God is a big step. You roll the burden of the problem onto the Burden Bearer, just as Jesus instructed. (Matt 11:30)
• As you repeat the prayer instead of allowing fear to grip you, your mind is renewed. You begin to think like God regarding the situation. This increases faith tremendously and when you have faith the size of a mustard seed, “you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matt 17:20)
Glory to God! This is where we are called to be. If you need more encouragement, read Faith, a good intro to the topic.

Lord God in heaven I come to you humbly asking you to bless me financially. This is not hard for you to do because the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. You are Jehovah Jireh the God who provides and I ask you to provide for me and my family and my friends. We are in need of your help.
Lord I ask you to show me the areas in my life where I may not have been a good steward of Your money and I ask that you would bring conviction into my heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Show me the areas where I need to improve how I handle your money so that I may honor You by using what You give me in a manner that pleases You. I pray Lord that when I receive this financial blessings that you will send me in the next few days, I will tithe to the ministry that you will call to my mind the amount which You will put in my heart. Lord I know that You are able to supply my needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. I know that you are the God who gives me the ability to create wealth and I make a covenant with you today that when you send me this financial blessing I will praise you for it no matter how small it may be and I will continue to serve you with a grateful heart.
Lord I ask that you would cause me to have an undivided heart and mind towards you. No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. I know that I cannot serve both You God and Money(Luke 16:13). Forgive me if I have misplaced my worship and my focus. Bless me this day with the blessing that you gave our forefather Abraham. Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain (1Chronicles 4:10). In Jesus Name. AMEN.
