Worship Song: God Will Make A Way
A woman of God, a worshipper striving for excellence in ALL areas of my life!
I am a daughter, sister, wife and mother who has come to the realization that life without God is boring and empty. Through my prayers I hope to shine the light of truth and encourage others so that we can all glorify God in everything we do. I continue to relay messages that God has equipped me to write for His purpose. I hope my prayers will help you feel inspired and trust our limitless God more deeply.
So often in our lives happens the situations when we are lost or at least not sure how to behave. Sometimes it is so trying to make a decision and to choose the right way. You feel that you can’t rely only on your experience or on the advice of other people. You think that it is not the advice you need, it doesn’t lead to the peace in your mind and heart, you feel undecided and confused. The only thing that you want is some clarity in your thinking, some wisdom on which you could base your decisions. God is our Shepard, who guides us all in our life journey. We need to walk with Him, talk to Him daily. And of course, we can say a prayer for guidance, direction, clarity, and wisdom.
Prayer for Guidance, Direction, Clarity, and Wisdom
Everlasting Father, wonderful and counselor, you are the almighty God, the all-knowing and all-seeing God. Nothing is hidden from you, and even darkness is as plain as light before you. I praise and adore your holy name for who you are and for the things you do.
God, I approach unto your presence today in the multitude of your mercy; I know that you know my ways and I do not want to be wise in my own eyes. Thus, Lord, I ask that you lead me today and give me guidance, direction, clarity, and wisdom into your truth. God, order my steps by your Holy Spirit, let my choices be guided by your word, let me not go ahead of you.
I humbly ask for your guidance and direction today as I go through life. Please guide me in your love and lead me in your light that I may not fall into temptation, that darkness may not overtake me. God, I pray that you light my candle and enlighten my darkness. I pray for clarity in my situation. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
When to Say Prayer for Guidance, Direction, Clarity, and Wisdom?
A prayer for guidance, direction, clarity, and wisdom is a prayer we say when in need of counsel or light in times of confusion and trouble.
A prayer for guidance shows our absolute dependence on God for direction, wisdom, clarity, and inspiration. It is a prayer that every believer must consciously pray every day in order avail oneself of God’s help and direction in these changing times that we live in.
The prayer for guidance, direction, clarity, and wisdom is a vital prayer that one needs to pray daily. We daily make decisions, sometimes stand at crossroads and need direction. In all these situations we need a higher authority to lead and guide us the right way. Sometimes we don’t even notice traps or nets are in our way, but as we daily pray for guidance, the Lord directs us to victory.
We can’t afford to make mistakes that can cancel or dent our destinies hence; we daily desire prayers that the Father of light, the all-knowing God will give our heart counsel and guidance.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy parts” (Proverbs 3:5).
The word direct means guide. Never assume that your judgment is right, never try to figure out things on your own, learn to say the prayer for guidance, direction, wisdom and clarity in all you do and God will keep you on track.

The Lord will deliver into your hands divine strategies that will give you the victory.
Not by power, by military strength or by political strategies, but by the Spirit of God mountains can be moved. Pray to Him for guidance today, and He will surely lead you into victory.

Prayer for Guidance in the Day Ahead
Good morning, Lord! Today’s a new day, a chance for a new start. Yesterday is gone and with it any regrets, mistakes, or failures I may have experienced. It’s a good day to be glad and give thanks, and I do, Lord. Thank you for today, a new opportunity to love, give, and be all that you want me to be.
Today I want to start the day with you on my mind and in my heart. As I dress, let me wear the armor you’ve provided daily: the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the belt of truth, the shoes of peace, and the sword of the spirit—with prayer on my tongue: praise for you and petitions for those around me and those I meet.
Feed me today with your daily bread. As the Bread of Life, your food, like manna, will sustain me throughout any trials and hungers. Help me to set my thoughts on things above and to speak only what will help and encourage others. Keep me from putting my foot in my mouth, and help me guard the affections of my heart today, Lord. Make whatever work I do be marked with excellence rather than perfectionism, as I seek not to make a name, but to make a difference. Help me to treat each person I encounter as you would, with respect and love, forgiving others and asking for forgiveness myself when needed.
As I start this day, help me remember that I belong to you, and my desire is to act accordingly. Keep my feet from stumbling and my mind from wandering into distractions that could steal precious time and energy from the most important things you have designed for me. I’m proud to be your child, Lord. And I’m so grateful that you died for me—rising again on your own new morning—so that every day could be filled with the wonder of your love, the freedom of your Spirit, and the joy of knowing you.
I know earthly life is short and fleeting, Lord. But I want to live today as if it were the first or the last day of my life, giving thanks for every good and perfect gift you choose to give. Today, and every day, I want to live my life for you, Jesus. In your precious name, Amen.

A Prayer for Discernment and Wisdom When You Need God’s Direction
Lord, thank You for the people You have divinely placed in my life who speak holy truth, love and words of wisdom. Give me a heart of discernment to know when You are using someone to speak instruction into my heart and my circumstances, and give me the strength and courage to follow through with that advice, even when it’s hard. Fill me with peace in knowing that even if I take a wrong turn, Your purpose will prevail. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Prayer is the single most important gift of agape given to the candidates and team on a Chrysalis weekend. Covering this weekend in prayer is a way for those who may not be physically serving to represent the Holy Spirit interceding for their brothers and sisters in Christ.
“Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy your consolations.
Through Christ our Lord, Amen.”
The following are suggestions for your prayer time, however, be open to where the Spirit leads you. These candidates and team members are counting on you, and more importantly, Christ is counting on you.
“Also, the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit Himself speaks to God for us, even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot explain. God can see what is in people’s heart. And He knows what is in themind of the Spirit, because the Spirit speaks to God for His people in the way God wants.” ~ Romans 8:26-27
Please pray for each candidate and team member, by name if known, and ask God to help them forget the outside world for the weekend. Please pray:
- that God will be with those candidates who think they need this weekend the most and those who think they need it the least
- that candidates will be able to freely give of themselves in table discussions
- that candidates will hear the messages shared by each speaker
- that candidates will die to self and faithfully lay down their obstacles to grace during the Prodigal talk or Dying Moments Communion, and truly examine their lives throughout all of the weekend experiences
- that candidates who may not know Jesus and Lord and Savior will ask him into their hearts
- that candidates will feel the love of Christ in a way they have never felt before and that they will not only accept it but take this love back home to be shared with others
- that the candidates hearts will be warmed by each piece of apage and every agape letter
- that agape letters from other communities will show the candidates how far and how wide is thelove of God
- that the Holy Spirit will work in each candidate’s life at the Closing service and into all of their Fourth days and that they will walk closely with Jesus for the rest of their lives
- that candidates and team members will go back to school or work without too much difficulty making up what they may have missed during their weekend
- that team members will concentrate on serving Jesus through their interactions with the candidates
- that all family members of candidates and team members be protected from harm and be maintained in good health throughout the weekend
- that candidates and team members be granted good health and restful sleep during the weekend
- that candidates and team members are able to give themselves over to God in all they think and do over the weekend
- that gifts of agape will be accepted with the same love with which they were given
- for the leadership team, the table leaders, the angels, the musicians, for those preparing food, for those praying, for those who sent agape and all those serving in some way this weekend that through them, the Gospel will be clarified and Christ’s name will be glorified
- for each Speaker, that the Lord will speak to the candidates through them and that each talk will bless and encourage all who hear what the Spirit has to say to them
- for each Sponsor and for the sacrifices they made on their candidate’s behalf for them to attend the weekend and for the spiritual guidance they will provide in their candidate’s Fourth days
- that nothing will compromise the safety or comfort of the candidates and team members duringthe weekend
- that the Body of Christ will be built up with new Fourth Day members as they establish their own ministries after their weekend
