I pray that God will forgive me for my sins and show me mercy I have lost sight of him and hope. I’m very thankful for my family and how he has blessed me in that way… And I’m thankful for having a job but I don’t understand why they had to demote me coming back from maternity leave and now get paid way less and can barely afford bills why do they get to over work me and not give me days requested to spend time with my family what did I do to deserve this? I’m a good employee and worked so hard in getting to where I was at And I’ve been patient and somewhat hopeful in finding a new job one that I can be proud of and help me provide for my family but I’m getting discouraged and having anxiety and depression makes stressfull situations a lot harder to cope with And I’m trying to stay strong for my family I just need help and guidance possibly some reassurance that your with me and have a better plan for me
Return to 7 Daily Prayers to Get You Through The Week
Omnipotent, Omnipresent Loving Lord, I humbly lay my life before You, for You alone deserve all the praise, honor and glory. Open my eyes, Lord.
Allow me to see all the wonderful things You have done for me. Open my heart to accept You and Your Word daily. Open my mind and allow me to understand Your teachings.
Romans 12:12 – Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer
Romans 15:4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
Grant me patience Lord, as I await Your answers to my call. Teach me to be still in the midst of the storms.
Lord, Your timing is always perfect, never too early and never too late. Knowing that You hold the future, it is definitely worth the wait!
James 1:3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
Hebrews 6:12 – That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Guide me accordingly, help me to make the right decisions that will only lead me to You. Search me, Oh Lord, for You alone know my heart.
I desire Your Holy presence as I await You patiently, Oh Lord. Bless me with all that I deserve, in Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen!
Luke 8:15 But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.
James 5:8 – Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
When God Says “Wait”: Navigating life’s detours and delays without losing your faith, your friends, or your mind
Perhaps you are impatient because you are waiting on an important answer of some sort. Or, maybe you lack patience, because, let’s face it, we live in a world where everything is supposed to happen now. Nothing happens fast enough, from standing in a line at the grocery store to a business venture that you are working on.
Take a few breaths and read this prayer. Turn your patience into rest.
I come to you to ask for help.
I am impatient.
I feel that time is running out!
I want to make a difference.
Each morning I wake up to the news of more senseless violence, shootings, children in poverty, the homeless, sickness, natural disasters….. It is overwhelming.
Life is short!
So much need, so little time to help.
Forgive me, but, unlike you, I don’t have all eternity on earth.
That is why I am impatient!
But, as I take this time to pray, I must remember that it is you that is in charge, not I.
When I allow your loving presence to flow through me, I can make a difference. I accept the fact that I may never see the fruits of my actions in this lifetime.
Help me to cease my constant striving and rest in you.
It’s not easy.
I am impatient.
Like the rest of the world, I want everything now!
But help me to be mindful that I am not of this world.
Through you all things are possible.
Now, I pray that you would help me to believe that, let go of my impatience, and rest in you.
