“What do you have (talents, idea, contacts,a voice, strength)? God uses what you have to give you what you don’t have.”
— Ikechukwu Joseph
“Dear young people, choose God for your portion; love his truth, and be not ashamed of it; choose for your company such as serve him in uprightness; and shun as most dangerous the conversation of those whose lives are of an ill savor; for by frequenting such company some hopeful young people have come to great loss, and been drawn from less evils to greater, to their utter ruin. In the bloom of youth no ornament is so lovely as that of virtue, nor any enjoyments equal to those which we partake of in fully resigning ourselves to the Divine will. These enjoyments add sweetness to all other comforts, and give true satisfaction in company and conversation, where people are mutually acquainted with it; and as your minds are thus seasoned with the truth, you will find strength to abide steadfast to the testimony of it, and be prepared for services in the church.”
— Benjamin Franklin
“Longstreet took a deep breath. In the winter the fever had come to Richmond. In a week they were dead. All within a week, all three. He saw the sweet faces: moment of enormous pain. The thing had pushed him out of his mind, insane, but no one knew it. He had not thought God would do a thing like that … she kept standing in the door: the boy is dead. And he could not even help her, could say nothing, could not move, could not even take her into his arms. Nothing to give. One strength he did not have. Oh God: my boy is dead.”
— Michael Shaara
“Dear God, Thank you for this new day, its beauty and its light. Thank You for my chance to begin again. Free me from the limitations of yesterday. Today may I be reborn. May I become more fully a reflection of Your radiance. Give me strength and compassion and courage and wisdom. Show me the light in myself and others. May I recognize the good that is available everywhere.”
— Marianne Williamson
God, I pray, give me the strength to live the next hour well.”
— Pamela Clare
“God didn’t give you the strength to get back on your feet so that you can run back to the same things that knocked you down.”
— Marvin Sapp
“We must do everything we are obliged to do; give without reckoning, practice virtue whenever opportunity offers, constantly overcome ourselves, prove our love by all the little acts of tenderness and consideration we can muster. In a word, we must produce all the good works that lie within our strength – out of love for God.”
— Therese Of Lisieux
“God won’t permit temptation beyond your strength. It is true that temptations come to all, but God will give you the graces you need to withstand them, if you ask him to and if you are willing to cooperate with his grace … In God’s presence, consider: Do I put up a fight when temptations beset me, or do I give up quickly and surrender myself to them without a struggle? Do I rely on God’s grace to conquer temptations, or am I conquered by them?”
— Patrick Madrid
“Our duty is to rise in the bright daylight, openly, beating the drums. The cause for which we are ready to give our necks does not fear the light, and to attack the enemy by guile would not suit it. A Pole has always despised ambushes, and God forbid that he should change. We shall not fail to have enough strength to defeat our enemies if we do not fail to have the spirit of sacrifice and love.”
— Wladyslaw Stanislaw Reymont
“Cast yourself into the arms of God and be very sure that if he wants anything of you, He will fit you for the work and give you strength.”
— Philip Neri
“To be pure, to remain pure, can only come at a price, the price of knowing God and loving him enough to do his will. He will always give us the strength we need to keep purity as something as beautiful for him.”
— Mother Teresa
“God never makes us sensible of our weakness except to give us of His strength.”
— Francois Fenelon
“(1) Be convinced that exactness in rising is one of the most important practices in the Company and that as the day begins so the rest of the day continues; (2) give yourselves sincerely to God on going to bed in the evening, asking Him for the strength to overcome yourselves in the morning and to obey His voice without delay.”
— Vincent De Paul

Have you ever needed supernatural strength to face a situation head-on, but not known what to pray? God is waiting and wants to offer us strength in time of need. Do not be afraid to pray and ask God for His strength to fall upon you! When you are weak, weary or unready to stand, and unsure of what to ask, pray along with these words!
A Prayer for Strength
Lord, I’m weary. My energy is sagging, and my motivation is lagging. And I am so in need of you. I need your strength and your fresh touch to get back on track again. Your Word says the joy of the Lord is my strength. If that’s true, then I need your joy to replace all the bone-tired parts of my mind, body, and soul.
The pressures of life sometimes push me into a corner, rendering me helpless to move forward. A hundred voices call my name, and I feel paralyzed at times to answer, not knowing where to turn. Lord, help me not to quit, to keep running the race faithfully, and to find strength in that safe, secret place of yours, under the shadow of the Almighty.
I need your strength to say no when I’m tempted to surrender to harmful things, or when selfishness clings to my clothes and won’t let go. I need your strength to say yes, when cowardice and fear nudge me to deny the convictions of my heart. I need your strength to reach out in love to those both close to me and all around me. When don’t I need your strength, God?
You are my rock, and I run to you today, believing that you will lift up my heavy arms, that you will fuel me for the tasks you’ve given me, and that your joy will completely consume the weakness of my life and make me strong again. I don’t want to stay grounded, crippled by limitations and failed attempts. I’m tired of feeble efforts. Lord, I want to mount up with wings like an eagle and not just fly. I want to soar.

Renew my strength, Lord. Fill me with your supernatural power to overcome each obstacle in my path. With my eyes on you, Lord, with you walking beside me, working through me, I can make it. Thank you, Lord!
In Jesus’s name, Amen
A Prayer for Strength and Encouragement
Lord, like David, I need your encouragement in a time of trial and anguish. Thank you that you are always on the throne, always my God, ready to save. Thank you for being the same God to me that you were to David. Thank you for always being near and always rescuing me from my fears and hurts. Lord, help me remember that daybreak might be just ahead, that this trial will not last forever. Fill me with hope that daybreak is coming and that your love will always prevail! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

A Prayer for Strength to Endure
Lord, I am weary and don’t know when this “race” will end in my life. I feel like I’ve been running forever, trying to outrun this trial. Help me to stop trying to outrun my pain but rather run with endurance the race you have set before me. I know that because of you I am ultimately a victor over the trials in my life. I know that nothing in this world can separate me from your steadfast love. Please give me a measure of your love today; give me the strength to endure this trial. Thank you for your love for me that never ends! And thank you for the crown of joy that awaits me forever in your Kingdom!

One of the biggest aspects of living a Christian life is prayer time with God. For many Christians, especially new believers this is something that often sounds mystical or mysterious and many Christians have a lot of questions about prayer. In this article we want to explore how to pray to God, but also delve into other basic questions… what is prayer? Do you need prayer? Does prayer help? By the time we finish it is my hope you have a good understanding of how to pray to God, what is the right way to pray and how that daily discipline will change your life for the better.
We want to share with you a few simple prayers that can start you off on the path of a healthy prayer life. Keep in mind, it is more about you and your circumstances and God wants to know you on a very personal level. Yes, He knows everything there is to know already, but more importantly He wants you to freely join Him in communion and share your life with Him.
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to thank you for the blessings you brought into my life, for my family, for my church, for my friends and for my neighbors. Today I have a difficult decision to make and I want your wisdom in all of my choices. Please Father let the Holy Spirit guide me and show me the path that would glorify you. I love you and thank you. In Jesus name. Amen.
Jesus, my King of Kings, please give me strength. My heart is troubled and my body is stricken with illness. Give me comfort and healing if it is your will. Lift me up and give me courage in this difficult time and let people see your reflection when they look at me. I love you and need you. Be with me always. Amen.
Holy Spirit, thank you so much for all you do in my life! You have filled me with peace, joy, patience and have guided my decisions. Today I step out in confidence that you are with me, a lamp unto my feet, together we shall glorify our Father in Heaven. Amen.
Pray to God the right way – what is prayer?
So what exactly is prayer? We see people around the world in prayer, people of all nations, all cultures, all religions prayer is prevalent. In a generic sense prayer is a person communicating with a higher power. In the Christian faith prayer is our direct line to our Creator, the one True God. Prayer is bringing your petition to God no matter what it may be… healing, strength, encouragement, direction, thanksgiving… in all things we should go in prayer.
Prayer is also a form of worship the God for all that He has done in our lives and the world. We must pray in His name – Father, Son or Holy Spirit. You may be asking, which of the three should I pray to? The answer is all or any. Scripture is clear that Father, Son and Holy Spirit are ONE (Matthew 28:19), and personally I have said prayers to all three at different times.
The most important thing to remember is that there is no right or wrong way to pray
Now let us take some time to discuss specifically how to pray to God the right way. The most important thing to remember is that there is no right or wrong way to pray. We are all different and we will all connect with God in various ways. Some people like to find a quiet place where they can be alone with God, which I highly recommend. When there are no distractions and your environment is peaceful it will much easier to communicate clearly. It is a good idea to set an appointment with God, a time and place each day where you know you will spend some quiet time alone with Him. In my experience I prefer to start my day this way, as it helps to invigorate me as I walk out the door and into the world.
When to pray to God?
On the other hand we do not want to become so structured that we only pray to God when our calendar tell us it is time. When you are going about your day, say small prayers… ask for help, give thanks or just let God know how you are feeling in that moment. Often times we may not know what to pray for and in these times we must rely on the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:26) to intercede for us in our weakness.
Prayer is about a relationship with God, very similar to the relationship between a father and son on Earth. If a man on Earth needs help, or comfort, or just wants to share a part of his life with someone, he will often turn to his father. When a father sees his child going through a tough time, He wants to hear about it, and help him if possible get through it. This is no different than our Father in Heaven, who loves each of us more than we can imagine.
How to pray to God to get answers?
People often ask: Should I pray on my knees? Should I pray out loud? Or other such details. There is no one correct answer to these questions. In my day I spend time on my knees praying, sitting at my desk praying and even praying while I am working. There are times when I pray quietly and times when I speak out loud. There are times when I cry, sing, laugh and shout out in prayer.
Now that we have discussed how and when to pray let us talk about how prayer can help us in our lives. How to pray to get answers from God? If you ever want testimony about the effectiveness of prayer just ask anyone who prays on a regular basis. Prayer is a life-changing practice that will bring you closer to God. The closer you come to God the more peace and joy will fill your heart. You will learn to trust and rely on God more because you will start to see answered prayers unfold in your life.
Don’t give up the prayer if you think your questions and petitions are not answered. God answers in His time, so trust and be patient and you get an answer. When Jesus Christ walked the Earth, He spent a considerable amount of time in prayer because He wanted to leave behind an example for us to follow as Christians. Let’s follow Jesus Christ and pray to God!

Prayer for healing, strength, and protection
People face all sorts of problems every day. There are times when problems turn into real unfortunate events and happenings. And sadly, there are moments when nobody is there for you when you need help. But this is our own conception: that nobody is there to help us. God is there and we need to pray for healing, strength, and protection. We need to talk to Him in order to get help.
God is watching us and takes care of us. He sends Guardian Angels to protect us here, on Earth. We are not alone. There are no seconds of our life when we are alone. That is only what those who don’t have faith in God’s powers think. But did you know that even these people that refuse to believe in the existence of God, have critical moments in their life when they start to pray? They start to pray in their own manner because they don’t know how to pray and ask for God’s help. God helps them anyway from that moment on because their prayers are a sign that they reached the right path. They saw how hard it is to live without God. They wanted help and the only one who could help them was God.
God appreciates when someone that has taken a wrong path comes back to Him. God loves that person even more than before.
Some people pray to God every night before they go to sleep. They pray for healing, strength, and protection, but do they pay attention to the fact that sometimes we could just be thankful for all we have, instead of asking for more?
It’s good to know that every prayer should end with “Thank you, God, for all the good things in my life because they make me happy and loved and thank you also for the bad things that I went through because they made me stronger and they made me see how good You are!”
God loves us equally. We are all His beloved children. But we should not take this for granted and we should learn how to pray. We should know what to ask and thank for in a prayer for healing, strength, and protection.
How you should pray for healing, strength, and protection
Before all of these, you should take into consideration that you should find a quiet place where you can pray. You should clear your mind and you must think only of the fact that you will have a conversation with Him.
With your soul full of trust and with your mind full of God and the Angels, kneel down and you will feel a warm presence. Your Guardian Angel will kneel down too next to you. Start your prayer with “Thank you God for listening to me!”, whatever you want to pray for. Your Guardian Angel will make the connection between you and God and the prayer will be heard by God.
Be sincere when you pray! Open your mind and your soul and tell God all the things you did. Even if they are bad, even if they are good. God knows everything, but you have to confess all to prove to God that you want to be healed and to be saved by His great power and love.
What is a prayer?
A prayer is your conversation with God. That is why you must be sincere in everything you ask and everything you tell him. A prayer for healing, strength, and protection is our direct line to heaven. A conversation with God should never be a bother for you. I have heard people say they wouldn’t spend their little spare time to talk to God because they prefer to do something else instead.
Have you ever ask yourself if God wants to spend his time listening to us? His unconditional love for us is huge and He makes time at every hour and moment in a day and in our lives to listen to us. We should make time to talk to God.
Pray with worship and reverence. We should thank God for all He did for us.
Pray for healing, strength, and protection and get God close to you. Thank Him for all in your life and especially thank Him for your Guardian Angel you have next to you because his mission is to watch you and take care of you.
Psalm 99:5 says: “Exalt the Lord our God! Worship at his footstool, for He is holy!”
Colossians 4:2 says about prayer: “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
Jeremiah 33:3 tell us about prayer: “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
Psalm 18:6 teaches us what the real meaning of a prayer for healing, strength, and protection is: “In my distress I called to the Lord; /I cried to my God for help. /From his temple he heard my voice; /my cry came before him, into his ears.”
The Bible tells us that the only mission of a prayer is to connect us to God, to tell Him sincerely about our soul and our life, to thank Him for what He gave us, good or bad, and to listen to His answers.
Prayer for healing
Pains are everywhere. There are pains in our soul, our mind, or in our body. There are moments in our life when our heart hurts so much. There are moments in our life when we suffer from an injury or our mind is full of bad thoughts. We need to be healed, that is why you should know a prayer for healing.
Psalm 107:19-21 says “Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind.”
Cry to the Lord in your trouble, He will save you. We should all cry to our Lord when we are in trouble. No matter who your God is, pray to Him because He will save you.
A prayer for healing will always be heard by God. He is ready to save us. He is there waiting for us to turn our faces to Him and to ask Him for help. Because even a man that doesn’t believe in God will do it at a hard moment in his life. And that means that God is his only hope. That is the moment when a man that doesn’t believe in God will start to believe in Him. And that itself is an important healing gift that God sends to us.
Psalm 147:3 tells us that “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
A prayer for healing is often the only thing that we need when we want to be saved from all the hard things that come to our life.
Prayer for strength
A prayer for strength is welcomed when we realize that our strength is not always enough for all the things we want to do. We cannot get through some of the hard situations in our life if we don’t have strength, and sometimes human beings simply don’t have enough of it.
That’s why I advise you to pray to God to give you strength and power to overcome all the obstacles in your life. Maybe you want to raise a child and you face some problems in this beautiful journey of raising a baby. Maybe you discover he has a disease, or maybe you face a moment when you don’t have enough money, you lose your job or you just can’t handle the situation, especially if you are both young parents.
Do you know how many young parents give birth to a beautiful child, but don’t have the money and the strength to get through all of the problems?
Do you know how many young couples choose not to have a child because they don’t feel prepared or they feel they don’t have the strength for such a responsibility? They needn’t feel this way if they call on God for help. Those young parents who called on God for help and sent Him a prayer for strength, they made it and they now have a beautiful child that can go to a good school and, in addition to this, they found the power and the strength to get a good job or to start their own business.
They didn’t do it all alone. God was there when they prayed for strength. God was there to help them and to give them the power to get through it all.
Remember that God is the best friend, father, and confidant we could have.
Take a look at Psalm 119:28: “My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to Your word.”
Isaiah 40:31 says: “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
God should be our refuge no matter if there is good or bad in our life. We should talk to God always.
A prayer for strength should sound like this: “Please, God, my savior, I need Your healing; help me to fill myself with strength and power for the hard times that will come.”
Prayer for protection
Everybody needs to be protected from the bad things that happen in life. I know a story about a child who grew up in an orphanage. She had nobody and she had no money when she had to leave, but her thought, every day, was a prayer for protection: “Please, God, protect me from bad things and give me strength to overcome this period. Protect me from unhappy events and take care of me because you are the only one who can help me!”
She had no money, no job and her only thought was to ask God for protection. Every day, this was her prayer. Because she was a beautiful, smart girl.
A prayer for protection was all she had. I was surprised and I was delighted to find out months after this that she got a job in a company and they gave her an apartment to live in. She developed her skills and she earned more and more money, then she bought herself an apartment.
She tells everybody now that she was protected by God all that time, and she is still protected by God. She sends God a prayer for protection every day. She has God in her soul and in her mind and she tells that without His love she couldn’t do anything.
Psalm 32:7 says that “You are my hiding place; /you will protect me from trouble/ and surround me with songs of deliverance.”
Exodus 14:14 tells us that “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Psalm 9:9: “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”
A prayer for protection will always work with a prayer for healing and a prayer for strength. We should know that God means all of these: healing, strength, and protection. We should thank God every day that he is watching us and takes care of us.
A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will always be heard by God if we truly trust in His powers. A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will always be the best remedy because it means we talk to God: a remedy for the soul and mind.
God is waiting for us to ask him something. God listens to us every day. It doesn’t matter where you are: in the car, on the bus on your way to school or the office, at home or at your job, maybe on vacation. God wants us to trust Him. It is more important than where you pray. A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will be welcomed by God if you put all your faith in it. This is what God expects from us: faith.
A prayer for healing, strength, and protection will work if you have faith
Have faith and all good things will come to your life!
Have faith and God will heal and protect you!
Have faith and God will give you strength to keep doing what you want to do!
Ask God for help and He will help you!
Have faith and talk to God in a prayer for healing, strength, and protection! But don’t forget an important thing: thank Him for all He gives to you. Thank Him for who you are, thank Him for what you have, thank Him for always being there when you need Him.
Sometimes, a prayer for healing, strength, and protection needs a prayer for thanks for all the good things God gave you and all the moments God helped you. A prayer for healing, strength, and protection won’t work if you don’t trust with all of your heart that God will help you.
Keep God next to you. Feel His warmth when you call on Him and ask him in a prayer what you need. Let Him be in your soul and your life will be more beautiful. Turn your face to God and see the signs He sends to you. Trust Him and love Him.
Kneel down with your soul and listen to your heart. You will hear the words of God telling you that sometimes you need to send him a prayer for healing, strength, and protection. Every human being needs help and needs to be protected and only God can do it properly.
Be strong and call on God’s help! Pray and have faith in God, love Him and talk to Him, with the Archangels and your Guardian Angel. They are our best friends from the Celestial World that can help us no matter what is happening.
They hear our prayers and they have the power to heal us and to give us strength, while they protect us from all the bad things that could happen to us.
They show us the right path in life and they guide us to thinking positively, to see the beauty in all things around us, to forgive and to love.
Therefore, in your prayer for healing, or maybe for strength, or even for protection, tell God, the Archangels and your Guardian Angel that you are thankful for all you have. Tell them that you are thankful for the good people in your life and for the fact that they are there when you need them the most.
Send your prayer for healing, strength, and protection to God and thank him for being there for you.
