Pray for my nephew

10:41 am – Pray for my nephew!!!

Hi All,
I need your prayers for my 3 month old Nephew Brayden Merrill; he has
been diagnosed as having Marfan syndrome, which affects his heart,
lungs, joints, eyes and muscles. He will never be able to use a walker or a
jumpy seat, he has to remain calm at all times otherwise it could cause
him to have a heart attack or stroke. Please pray for this little one
that Gods love will heal him. Our prayers for his health are all this
little one has to make him better so he can prove the doctors wrong and
he will grow up to be big and strong. Below is a list of what this
disease can do to him and how it affects him.
God Bless you all,
Please put Brayden on the prayer list of your churches and keep him in
your prayers.
Introduction: Marfan syndrome
Marfan syndrome: Rare genetic disease of connective tissue
Marfan syndrome: Marfan syndrome is a heritable condition that affects
the connective tissue. The primary purpose of connective tissue is to
hold the body together and provide a framework for growth and
development. In Marfan syndrome, the connective tissue is defective and does not
act as it should. Because connective tissue is found throughout the
body, Marfan syndrome can affect many body systems, including the
skeleton, eyes, heart and blood vessels, nervous system, skin, and lungs.
Causes of Marfan syndrome
Cause of Marfan syndrome: Marfan syndrome is caused by a defect
(mutation) in the gene that determines the structure of fibrillin, a protein
that is an important part of connective tissue. 1
This disorder results from mutations in the gene that makes
fibrillin-1, a protein important to connective tissue. 2
Related information for causes of Marfan syndrome: Further relevant
information on causes of Marfan syndrome may be found in the risk factors
for Marfan syndrome and underlying causes of Marfan syndrome.
Thank You,
Michelle
