My mum believed in You, Lord. But she found out she had a tumor in her back. That is a serious tumor because it can’t be removed. It didn’t cause her any problems, but, three years has passed and she found out the tumor has grown.
I’m sorry because is difficult for me to believe that something might heal her, but I’m so wrong, because you promised me to heal us. You promised you would take care of us. But I feel so sad and depressed right now.
My mum is all I have on earth, losing her would be losing my whole life. I love her, God. I don’t want her to go. She doesn’t believe in You yet, but I know she will, I just have to believe in your power God, but is so hard. I can’t deal with it just now.
I’m in so much pain and I don’t want my life to drift away because of this. I’m too young, God. I know this sounds selfish, but I wonder, Why me? I just want you to give a chance, God. I want to trust you and believe in you, but sometimes, it hurts too much.
Please, pray for me and my family. I don’t know God’s plans, but I need to believe, because He can do anything. My faith and strenght is not enough.
I need you God to tell me that everything is going to be alright. I just want a second chance so I can be happy.
Please help me to believe.

Daily life is littered with all sorts of sickness. Flu season hit my household this week, and according to the CDC, most of United States is in the midst of a “high activity” flu season. One does not realize the luxury of the average day until it’s besieged and de-railed by influenza. Life comes to a pause, and workloads pile up.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that one in four adults had one or more chronic health conditions in 2012. Discouragement that leads to a depressive state cannot be categorized as a “it will never happen to me” notion. Mental health is an astronomical concern in this country. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, one in five adults in the US experience mental illness in a given year.
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” (3 John 1:2)
If our bodies and minds are ailing at such a high rate, it shouldn’t surprise us that our spiritual lives are unhealthy as well. LifeWay Research released a report in April of 2017 that states “more than half of Americans have read little or none of the Bible.” Though we don’t have full control over flu germs, depression, and terminal disease, we can choose to read Scripture daily.
Let’s pray for complete health, mind, body and soul. To seek His counsel in all things, and welcome the wisdom of the Holy Spirit into the part of our hearts that need healing. A healthy life is comprised of more than a fit physically body free of injury and illness.
A Prayer for Complete, Good Health
Father,
Praise You for this, and every day that we get to wake up this side of heaven. Each day is laced with purpose, and we ask for Your wisdom and guidance through every one. Help us to live each day well, and for Your glory, from start to finish.
Thank You for Your Word, which breathes life into our tired souls and minds. You promise to meet us there, in study and prayer. Thank You for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross, paying with His life for our ease of access to our Heavenly Father through prayer and Scripture. Each biblical story and truth weave in and out our lives in Your perfect timing.
Father, You remind us throughout Scripture that You are faithful to Your people. Jeremiah 33:6 says, “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” So often, as in the Old Testament, we rebel, neglect to care for ourselves as You do, and end up tired and sick. But Father You are faithful to enwrap us in Your healing love each time we turn back to You.
Forgive us for neglecting to care for the life You have entrusted us with. The life that You have purposed specifically to do more than we can ask for or imagine. When we go our own way, we wear ourselves down, physically and mentally. Other times, we train physically but neglect our psyche. We often neglect our spiritual life.
Father, strengthen us to hold captive the joy You bless our lives with daily. Help us to walk freely in Your love. For as Paul reminds us in 1 Timothy 4:8 (VOICE), “Although training your body has certain payoffs, godliness benefits all things–holding promise for life here and now and promise for the life that is coming.” Send us more of Your Holy Spirit, to help us focus on Your Word daily. Give us hearts like Jesus.
Give us the wisdom to seek You first each day, before each decision. It’s often the little thoughts and daily decisions that lead us into a sudden spiral of bad health. Enlighten us and guide us through Your Word. Let our hearts burn for more of You each day.
Help us endure the pain of chronic conditions, some of which will not find healing in this broken and sinful world. We know that You work all things for good, but in those moments of chronic pain and suffering, it can be impossible to understand Your perfect and just hand in it all.

i know this is weird believe me and im sorry for all of you who may read this but my mother just passed away some hours ago from me posting this and im starting to lose it but this is something i have to do im really just asking for you to pray and i dont care what your religion is this is just something that i feel that i have to do shit i dont even care if you an atheist just say her name pleasemy mother was a Christian a funny crazy hippie that loved tea and alcohol a little to much but she was also a person that saw hope in everyone so much she helped kids who needed a mother and even if you didnt you still called her mom everyone did all the time i was growing up she would fight for people she would fight for people to be happy..she would fight for her own happiness my mother has had people trying to kill her growing up and she has been beat down over and over and she always got back up shes the one who taught me about life and she never held back and from that i love hate and respect her for that my dear mother had a saying she got from her father BE PEOPLE she told me that when he passed away she saw him in a dream and told her to be people all my life ive been thinking what that mean my mother has alway tried to be like him and she told me growing up i am just like him this man i have never met but love so much for helping to make a great person as she was and i believe still is somewhere
i know what that saying means now BE PEOPLE means stop trying to be someone you are not and be yourself
im writing because she has been and forever will be my hero and for people that truly new her she was a pillar for them and so many others she would want everyone thinking of her with a smile on there face and know tears in there eyes but i have them in mine
i was never able to fulfill one of my wishes for her and that was to have millions of people all over the world knowing her name and feeling better about life from knowing her story and as long as im breathing i will make that come true
